دير مار جرجس - بحردق
بُني الدّير سنة ١٦٥٤ بسعي الأب يوسف الرامي، وانتقلت الراهبات إلى الموضع الحالي سنة ١٧٤٤. شُيّدت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٥٠. أواسط القرن التاسع عشر وسّع المطران يوسف جعجع الدّير وجعله كرسيًّا لأبرشيّة قبرص، وجعله بعد سنة ١٨٧٠ مقرًّا لكهنة الأبرشيّة بإذن الكرسيّ الرسوليّ. تحوّل الى مدرسة أقفلت بعد الحرب العالميّة الأولى، بعدها أقفل وترك مهملاً. دشّنه بعد الترميم البطريرك نصرالله بطرس صفير في ٢٥ حزيران سنة ٢٠٠٠.
The Monastery of St George - Bherdok

The first monastery was built with the efforts of Fr Youssef El Ramy in 1654. Nuns relocated to the current building in 1744. The church was accomplished in 1750. In the middle of the XIXth century, Archbishop Youssef Geagea enlarged the building and made it the seat of the eparchy of Cyprus. After year 1870 he made it a residence to the diocesan priests by a decree from the Holy See. After that it was converted to a school that was shut down after World War I, and then was left to abandon. The monastery was renovated and rededicated on the 25th of June 2000 by later Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir.

محبسة مار بهنام - وادي حدشيت قنوبين

محبسة قديمة من القرن الثالث عشر، وهي قبو بعقد سريريّ وثلاث حنايا. تحتوي المحبسة على بقايا رسم جداريّ وكتابةً سريانيّة، ومذبح مصنوع حجريّ. أمّا مار بهنام فهو أميرٌ فارسٌ من بلاد ما بين النهرين، ترك كلّ ما له وفضّل الإستشهاد في سبيل المسيح على ترك إيمانه، نال إكليل الشهادة في القرن الرابع. واتصلت شفاعته بالموارنة من خلال الرهبان اليعاقبة في شمال لبنان.

The hermitage of St Bahnam - The valley of Hasdshit Qannoubine

It is an old XIIIth century hermitage, that consists of a single crib vault ending with three apses, with a stone altar, fresco remains and Syriac calligraphy. St Bahnam was a prince from Assyria, who preferred to leave his privileged life for the love of Christ, and he preferred martyrdom over recanting his Christian faith in the IVth century. He was made known to the Maronites by the Jacobite monks of Northern Mount Lebanon.

كنيسة سيّدة النجاة - بكاسين

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨٥٥، بعقدٍ مصالب. تعرّضت للتخريب إبّان حوادث سنة ١٨٦٠، ورمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحة سيّدة الحبل بلا دنس وهي من عمل غربيّ، كذلك لوحة مار يوسف ومجموعة زجاجيّات.

The church of Our Lady of Deliverance - Bkassine

The church was built in 1855, and consists of a single arched vault. The building was sabotaged during the war of 1860 and finally restored in the late XXth century. The church holds a European late XIXth century painting depicting the Immaculate conception. The modern painting of St Joseph and the stained glass windows are the work of the artist André Nammour.
