كنيسة مار بطرس وبولس - لحفدهي كنيسة صغيرة في طرف البلدة. بُنيت سنة ١٩١٢ ورُمّمت في تسعينيّات القرن العشرين. الكنيسة بسوق واحد مسقوف. لوحة مار بطرس وبولس من عمل جوزيف زيادة تعود لعام ١٩٥٨.
The church of Sts Peter and Paul - LehfedThe church is a small chapel on the outskirts of the village. The construction began in 1912, and was restored in the nineties. The church consists of a single roofed nave. The painting of Sts Peter and Paul is made by Joseph Ziade dates back to 1958.
يعود الدّير للقرن السابع عشر. هو وَقف من الشيخ بو عقل هارون وأولاده. كان بتصرُّف الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيَّة سنة ١٧١٩، وفي سنة ١٧٤٠، تسلَّمه الرهبان الأنطونيُّون، فتسلَّم الدير المطران يواصاف البسكنتاوي، وباشر تجديد بنائه سنة ١٧٥٢، وخصَّصه لسكنى الراهبات العابدات، لكنَّه عاد فسلَّمه إلى الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيَّة، وتسلَّم المطران بدلًا منه دير مار ساسين بسكنتا، ونقل إليه الراهبات. أمَّا البناء وتجديده فقد شَهد عدَّة مراحل. الكنيسة الحاليّة بُنيت سنة ١٨٥٥. تَجدر الإشارة على أنَّ دير بنابيل قد تعرَّض لنكباتٍ عديدةٍ على غرار باقي الأديار، فقد نهبته العساكر المصريَّة سنة ١٨٤٠. كذلك لم يسلم من الأذى أثناء أحداث ١٨٦٠. لكنَّ الرهبانيَّة كانت تهبُّ كلَّ مرَّة إلى ترميمه. وقد جدَّدت في بناء الدير، وأحدثت فيه إصلاحات عدَّة سنة ١٩٠١. أمَّا بناؤه الحاليّ فيعود إلى سنة ١٩٤٧.
The Monastery of St. Michael - Bnabil
The monastery dates back to the 17th century. It was originally donated by Sheikh Bou Akl Haroun and his sons. In 1719, the monastery was given to the Beledite order. However, in 1740, it was transferred to the Antonine Fathers. Later on, in 1752, Bishop Youwassaf el Beskentawi took over and converted the monastery into a nunnery. Subsequently, the bishop returned it to the Beledites and acquired the Monastery of St. Sassine in Baskinta for his nuns. Over the years, the monastery underwent several restorations. The construction of the church took place in 1855. Unfortunately, the building suffered damage during the presence of the Egyptian army in 1840 and the war of 1860. It was eventually restored in 1901 and assumed its final form in 1943.
الكنيسة عبارة عن مغارة كانت مدفنًا لكهنة أدونيس وتحوي عدّة نواويس، وثلاث اعمدة تنضح الماء كانت قديمًا لنذور العواقر. وثّق المغارة العالم إرنست رينان والمفوّضيّة السّامية الفرنسيّة، لكنّ العديد من معالم المدفن خرّبت جرّاء البحث عن الطمائر. على الجدار الشرقيّ داخل الكنيسة كتابة منقوشة باللغة السريانيّة وهي مختلفة من حيث الاسلوب، لأنّها منقوشةٌ بشكلٍ عاموديٍّ وليس افقياً. وقد فسّر علماء الآثار هذه الظاهرة أنّه في القرن السابع للميلاد زمن الامويّين ذهبت بعثات نسطوريّة الى الصين. وهذا ما يفسّر الاسلوب العامودي في الكتابة الآراميّة المنقوشة، فهؤلاء تأثروا بالكتابة الصينيّة العاموديّة كالكتابات السريانيّة في شيان التي تعود للحقبة نفسها. رمّم المذبح سنة ١٨٩٥، والواجهة الأماميّة سنة ١٩٥٢.
The church of Sts Peter and Paul - Aqoura
The church was a funerary cave for the priests of Adonis, it holds many sarcophaguses and three columns that pour water. The cave was studied by Ernest Renan and the archeologists of the French high commissariat. The church holds a VIIth century Syriac calligraphy that is distinct since it was written vertically, which relates to the Nestorian monks who went to missions during the Umayyad era and reached China. There they were influenced by the mandarin calligraphy and began writing Syriac in this manner. The stella of Xian uses the same type of writing and dates back to that era. The church was plundered by tomb raiders, the high altar was restored in 1895, and the entrance in 1952.

يعود بناء الكنيسة للقرن العاشر، تحتوي على مجموعة جدرانيّات تعود إلى القرون الوسطى. هي من أكثر الكنائس المحافظة على طابعها الأول هندسةً، وتُجسّد الجدرانيّات التي زيَّنتها منذ القرن الثالث عشر، موضوعاتٍ من العهدين القديم والجديد. تُجسّد الجدرانية قصَّة الخلاص المقسومة الى جزءين: الأوّل إلى الناحية اليمنى يُمثّل يدَي الربّ وموسى يتلقّى منهما الوصايا العشر، والى الناحية اليسرى ذبيحة النبي إبراهيم، وما بين الإثنين رسمٌ لعمانوئيل وسط القمر والشمس. والثاني الى اليمين يمثّل بِشارة العذراء، يليه رسم للنبي دانيال، ومار إسطفان. على الحائط الشماليّ صورة مار تاودروس، وعلى الحائط الجنوبيّ صورة القديس جاورجيوس. في الوسط ايقونة الشفاعة مع الملائكة وعلى مستوى المذبح صف الرسل الإثنا عشر.
The church was built during the tenth century, and contains a collection of medieval Syriac frescoes. It is one of the most preserved churches architecturally. The church was covered with frescos dating back to the 13th century and depicting themes from the Old and the New Testament. The main fresco represents on the right side the hand of God giving Moses the ten commandments, on the left the sacrifice of Abraham. In the middle is Emmanuel between the sun and the moon. The second part depicts the Annunciation, prophet Daniel, and Stephen the Protomartyr. On the northern wall one can find St Theodorus, and St George on the southern. In the main apse is the Deisis with angels, below it the row of the twelve apostles
