كنيسة مار جرجس - القريّة صيدابُنيت الكنيسة الأولى مع قدوم المسيحيّين إلى البلدة في القرن الثامن عشر، وكانت كنيسة صغيرة قليلة الإرتفاع تعرف بالقبو. تعرّضت هذه الكنيسة للتخريب في أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. سنة ١٩١٤ ومع ازدياد عدد الأهالي، تقرّر بناء كنيسةٍ أكبر في الموضع عينه. فبدأ المشروع في عهد المطران بولس بصبوص والخوري بطرس كسّاب، نفّذه المعمار الياس قسطنطين من عبرا. وهي كنيسة بسوقٍ واحد ينتهي بحنية وسقف قرميد. في ستّينيات القرن العشرين أضيفت إلى قبّتها برج للجرس عند الواجهة الغربيّة. اللوحة التصويريّة من عمل راجي الحاج تعود لسنة ١٩٣٩. تعرّضت الكنيسة للعبث سنة ١٩٨٥ مع تهجير المسيحيّين من شرق صيدا، وأخذَت حلّةً جديدةً بالترميم في أواخر تسعينات القرن العشرين.The church of St George - Qrayeh SidonThe first church was built with the settlement of christians in the region in the XVIIIth century. It was known as the Qabou (the cellar) hence it was a small structure. It was sabotaged in the war of 1860. In 1914 with the growth of the congregation, the village needed a new church. The construction began during the pontificate of Bishop Boulos Basbous and Fr. Boutros Kassab, construction was executed by Elias Constantin from Abra. The church is of a single nave ending with an apse, and a brick roof. During the late sixties a bell tower was added to the original old one on the western side. The painting is the work of Raji el Hajj 1939. The church was sabotaged during the civil war in 1985, and restored in the last decade of the XXth century.

كنيسة سيّدة الورديّة الدلغانة - دير القمر

بنيت في ثلاثينيّات القرن الثامن عشر، وأتمّ البناء سنة ١٧٦٠ على يد الأب متّى الحكيم الحلبيّ طبيب أمراء دير القمر. تُلاصق الكنيسة كابيلا سيّدة الرحمة وهي تعود للنصف الثاني من القرن التاسع عشر. تحوي الكنيسة على العديد من اللوحات التصويريّة أهمّها لوحة سيّدة الورديّة وهي من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي سنة ١٨٦٤، ومار يوسف لنجيب شكري تعود لسنة ١٩١٠.

The church of Our Lady of the Rosary El Delghane - Deir el Qamar

The church was built in the third decade of the the XVIIIth century. The construction was concluded in 1760 under the supervision of Fr Matta el Hakim from Aleppo who was the personal doctor of Deir el Qamar’s princes. Adjacent to the church stands a small chapel dedicated to our Lady of Mercy dating back to the second half of the XIXth century. The church holds many paintings inculding Our Lady of the Rosary by Kanaan Dib dating back to 1864 and St Joseph by Najib Chukry dating back to 1910.

تأسّس الدير في عام 1771 من قِبل مجموعة من الرهبان الموارنة الذين كانوا يسعون إلى إنشاء مكان للعبادة ل في قلب مدينة زحلة لخدمة المجتمع المارونيّ المحلي. نما دير القديس أنطونيوس على مرّ القرون في الحجم والأهميّة وأصبح مركزًا للعلم والروحانيّة. ورغم تعرّضه للحروب والغزوات والزلازل، إلّا أنه تم إعادة بنائه وترميمه عدة مرّات. تُعدّ كنيسة القديس أنطونيوس نقطة المحور في الدير، حيث تم بناؤها في منتصف القرن العشرين فوق الكنيسة الأصلية. ويتميّز الداخل بلوحات جداريّة رائعة ونوافذ زجاجية ملونة برسوم الفنان اللبناني أسعد رنّو. في الكنيسة مقام جانبي صغير مخصص للقديسة تيريزا. تشتهر مكتبة الدير كذلك بمجموعتها الضخمة من الكتب والمخطوطات والتحف القديمة. وبشكل عام، يُعدّ دير القديس أنطونيوس موقعًا ثقافيًا وروحيًا مهمًّا في زحلة، له تراث غنيّ يجذب الزوار من جميع أنحاء العالم.

The monastery of St. Anthony the great - Zahle

The monastery was established in 1771 by a group of Maronite monks with the intention of creating a place of worship and reflection for the local Maronite community in Zahle. Throughout the years, it has grown in both size and significance, developing into a hub for learning and spirituality. Despite experiencing wars, invasions, and earthquakes, the monastery has been reconstructed and renovated multiple times. The focal point of the monastery is the church of St. Anthony, which was built in the mid XXth century over the original church. The interior is decorated with stunning frescoes, stained glass windows created by the Lebanese artist Assaad Renno, and intricate altars. The church has a small lateral chapel dedicated to St. Therese of Lisieux. Another noteworthy feature of the monastery is its library, which houses an extensive collection of books, manuscripts, and ancient artifacts. Overall, the monastery is a significant cultural and spiritual site in Zahle, Lebanon, with a rich heritage that continues to attract visitors from all over the world.
