كاتدرائيّة مار الياس المارونيّة صيدا
بناها المطران أغوسطينوس البستاني على إسم شفيع المدينة مار الياس الحيّ، لتكون كرسيًّا رسميًّا له في المتروبوليّة. وكان ذلك سنة ١٩٣٨. يَذكر الكتاب المقدّس أنّ مار الباس مرّ في صيدا وهي جزء من الأراضي المقدّسة وعلى اسمه أربع كنائس مارونيّة في المدينة. الكنيسة مبنيّة على النمط البازيليكيّ، لوحة الحنية من رسم الفنان اسعد رنّو. تعرّضت للحرق ابان الحرب الأهليّة سنة ١٩٨١. وأُعيد ترميمها مؤخّرًا سنة ٢٠١٧. من أبرز ما تحويه ذخيرة عود الصليب التي حملها مطران صيدا مار انطونيوس خريش (البطريرك لاحقًا) على إثر المجمع الفاتيكاني الثاني.

St Elijah’s Maronite Cathedral Sidon.
It was built during the mandate of archbishop Augustin El Boustany, and was dedicated to Elijah the prophet patron saint of the city, to become the bishop's official new cathedral in the metropolitan city. It was built in 1838 in a basilical plan. The Old Testament states the visit of the prophet to the city. That explains the presence of four churches dedicatd to him in the city. The main painting in the apse is the work of the Lebanese painter Assaad Renno.
The cathedral was burnt down during the civil war in 1981, and finally restored in 2017. Its most prized treasure is the Holy Cross relic brought back from the Second Vatican Council by Archbishop Antonios Khoraish (Later Maronite Patriarch).

دير كرمل والدة الإله والوحدة - حريصا

سنة ١٩٦١ أَذَن رئيس المجمع الشرقيّ الكاردينال تيسيران أن تنتقل ثلاث راهبات إسبانيّات كرمليّات من طقسهنّ اللاتينيّ الى الطقس البيزنطيّ بغية تأسيس دير كرمليّ مشرقيّ هدفه الصلاة لأجل وحدة الكنيسة. وقد شاءت العناية الإلهيّة أن تكون الراهبات من الأديار التي أسّستها تريزيا الأفيليّة بداية الإصلاح. إفتُتح الدّير في ٢٤ آب سنة ١٩٦٢. زاره البابوان يوحنّا بولس الثاني وبندكتوس السادس عشر إبّان زيارتيهما الرسوليّة الى لبنان. كنيسة الدّير بيزنطيّة الطابع مع فبّة، تتميّز كونها مغطاة بالجداريّات، وإيقونوستاز خشبيّ، وشعريّة الحصن للراهبات.

The Monastery of the Theotokos and the unity - Harissa

In 1961 his eminence Cardinal Tisserant agreed that three nuns join the Byzantine rite to create an oriental Carmelite nunnery with the aim of prayer to the unity of the church. The divine wisdom made the three nuns come from the original monasteries founded by St Theresa of Avila. The monastery was inaugurated on the 24 of august 1962. Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI visited the monastery upon their visit to Lebanon. The monastery’s church is of Byzantine style with a dome and a wooden iconostatis, it is fully covered with frescoes and has a distinctive seperator to demark the cloister of the nuns.

كنيسة سيّدة اليمونة - اليمونة

أواسط القرن التاسع عشر حمت السيّدة شخصًا من آل ياغي من الغرق فنذر بناء كنيسةٍ لها في اليمونة. الكنيسة صغيرة بعقدٍ مصالبٍ. تشتهر هذه الكنيسة بكونها مقامًا عجائبيّّا يقصده المسيحيّون والشيعة للتبرّك.

The church of our Lady of Yammouneh - Yammouneh

In the mid XIXth century a man from the Yaghy clan was saved from drowning with the miraculous intercession of Our Lady. He dedicated himself to build a church in Yammouneh as an act of thanksgiving. The church is small with a crossed vault. The shrine is considered holy for both christians and Shias, and it is an important pilgrimage site for both religions.
