محبسة مار بهنام - وادي حدشيت قنوبينمحبسة قديمة من القرن الثالث عشر، وهي قبو بعقد سريريّ وثلاث حنايا. تحتوي المحبسة على بقايا رسم جداريّ وكتابةً سريانيّة، ومذبح مصنوع حجريّ. أمّا مار بهنام فهو أميرٌ فارسٌ من بلاد ما بين النهرين، ترك كلّ ما له وفضّل الإستشهاد في سبيل المسيح على ترك إيمانه، نال إكليل الشهادة في القرن الرابع. واتصلت شفاعته بالموارنة من خلال الرهبان اليعاقبة في شمال لبنان.The hermitage of St Bahnam - The valley of Hasdshit QannoubineIt is an old XIIIth century hermitage, that consists of a single crib vault ending with three apses, with a stone altar, fresco remains and Syriac calligraphy. St Bahnam was a prince from Assyria, who preferred to leave his privileged life for the love of Christ, and he preferred martyrdom over recanting his Christian faith in the IVth century. He was made known to the Maronites by the Jacobite monks of Northern Mount Lebanon.

كنيسة سيّدة الحبشيّة - غزير

بحسب التقليد بنى رهبان أحباش الكنيسة الأولى سنة ١٤٤٦ وأتوا بصورة العذراء: هذه الكنيسة القديمة بحنيتين هي اليوم السكرستيا ومدفن الكهنة. سنة ١٦٤٠ إستَحصَل آل حبيش على فرمان من السُلطان العُثماني لِتَرميم كنيسة السيّدة في غزير، وشيَّدوا بِموجب هذا الفَرمان كنيسة السيّدة المَدعوَّة الآن "الحبشية" وكرَّسها البطريرك إسطفان الدويهي في ١٣ آذار سنة ١٦٦٣. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة الطراز، تعرّضت للتخريب سنة ١٩٠٥، رُمّمت في ثمانينات القرن العشرين. تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات والعديد من الشواهد.
The church of Our Lady the Habshiyeh - Ghazir

According to tradition the church was first built by Abyssinian monks from Nabak in 1446 and they brought with them the icon of the Madonna. The old church is now the sacristy and the prelates necropolis. In 1640 the Hobeish family got an accord from the Ottoman sultan to build the new church that was named Habshiyeh. Patriarch Estephan El Douwaihy consecrated the church on the 13th of March 1663. The church is a basilical structure, it was sabotaged in 1905 and renewed in the 80s. The church holds many paintings and epitaphs.

دير الصليب ومحابس مار بسكوان ومار سلوان - وادي حولات حدشيت

دير الصليب يعود للقرون الوسطى، هو دير عاصٍ فيه كنيسة بخورسين. في الحنيتين جداريّات بيزنطيّة بكتابة سريانيّة تمثّل في إحداها الرسل والأخرى البشارة. على الجدار الشماليّ جداريّة الصلب وتشبه الى حدٍّ كبير منمنمة رابولا وتنتمي للمدرسة السريانيّة. وضع الجداريّات مذرٍ بفعل مرور الزمن والتخريب. في سفح الجبل قرب الدّير محبستين، الأولى لمار بسكوان وهو شفيع الإستعداد للموت عند أهالي حدشيت، والأخرى لمار سلوان.

The Monastery of the Holy Cross and the hermitages of Sts Beskwan and Silwan - The valley of Houlat Hadsheet

The monastery of the Holy Cross is a medieval monastery in the Holy Valley. The main church is a double apse structure decorated by byzantine frescoes with Syriac inscriptions depicting on one apse the apostles and on the other the Annunciation. On the northern wall there is a fresco of the crucifixion from the Syriac school of iconography, most probably a reproduction of Rabbula’s miniatures. The frescoes are in dire condition due to time and sabotage. In the cliff of the mountain near the monastery stand two hermitages: St Beskwan the patron of the preparation for death to the people of Hadsheet and St Silwan the athonite.

كنيسة مار يوسف - وطى الجوز
بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩١٧ فوق كنيسةٍ أقدم عهدًا. رمّمت وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٧٥. لوحة مار يوسف من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي تعود لسنة ١٨٦٨. تتميّز الكنيسة بقبّة حجريّة بشكل طابيّة كاهن يعلوها صليب.

The church of St Joseph - Wata el Jawz
The church was built in 1917 over an older church, and took its final form in the restoration of 1975. The painting of St Joseph is made by Kanaan Dib in 1868. The bell tower is topped by a sculpture of a Tabye, the traditional maronite priestly hat, with a cross over it.
