محبسة مار بهنام - وادي حدشيت قنوبينمحبسة قديمة من القرن الثالث عشر، وهي قبو بعقد سريريّ وثلاث حنايا. تحتوي المحبسة على بقايا رسم جداريّ وكتابةً سريانيّة، ومذبح مصنوع حجريّ. أمّا مار بهنام فهو أميرٌ فارسٌ من بلاد ما بين النهرين، ترك كلّ ما له وفضّل الإستشهاد في سبيل المسيح على ترك إيمانه، نال إكليل الشهادة في القرن الرابع. واتصلت شفاعته بالموارنة من خلال الرهبان اليعاقبة في شمال لبنان.The hermitage of St Bahnam - The valley of Hasdshit QannoubineIt is an old XIIIth century hermitage, that consists of a single crib vault ending with three apses, with a stone altar, fresco remains and Syriac calligraphy. St Bahnam was a prince from Assyria, who preferred to leave his privileged life for the love of Christ, and he preferred martyrdom over recanting his Christian faith in the IVth century. He was made known to the Maronites by the Jacobite monks of Northern Mount Lebanon.

دير مار بطرس وبولس - عشقوت

بنى البطريرك بولس مسعد الدّير في النصف الثاني من القرن التاسع عشر، وجعله مركزًا بطريركيًّا له إبّان حبريته. استقدم للكنيسة تمثالين رخاميّين والأواني من روما، مع مجموعة من اللوحات الصغيرة. أمّا اللوحة الكبيرة فوق المذبح وسط الكنيسة، فهي من عمل داود القرم. بعد وفاته، دُفن البطريرك في الكنيسة، وأوقف الدّير لعائلة مسعد. تحوّل في فترةٍ من الزمن إلى مدرسة، والآن يخوض عمليّة ترميم لإبراز قيمته التاريخيّة.

The monastery of Sts Peter and Paul - Ashkout

The monastery was built in the second part of the XIXth century by patriarch Boulos Massaad, and he resided in it during his pontificate. The patriarch acquired for the church two roman marble statues of Sts Peter and Paul, and many paintings. The great painting over the high altar is by Dawoud El Qorm. After the death of the patriarch the monastery became in the possession of the Masaad family, it was converted into a school for a while and now it is undergoing a restoration plan to bring out the historical value of the place.

كنيسة سيّدة المعونات - عين عكرين

سكن الموارنة بلدة عين عكرين من القرن التاسع عشر. أمّا الكنيسة فبنيت نهاية القرن التاسع عشر. البناء كناية عن سوقٍ واحدٍ مسقوف ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة. المميّز في هذه الكنيسة أنّها آن رمّمت أوائل هذا القرن زيّنها المرحوم الأب عبده بدوي رائد الإيقونوغرافيا المارونيّة الحديثة بمجموعةٍ من الفسيفساء والأيقونات.

The church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help - Ain Ekrine

The Maronites first came to Ain Ekrin in the beginning of the XIXth century. They built the church at the end of the century. The structure is a single nave roofed building, with a semi circular apse. The church was restored in the early XXIth century, and it consists a visual iconographical heritage to the belated Fr Abdo Badawi, the pioneer of modern maronite iconography.

كابيلّا القدّيسة ريتا - غادير

سنة ١٩٠٦ بنت عائلة خورشيد إيليان كابيلّا مدفنيّة على اسم مار بطرس وبولس، وكانت تابعة لكنيسة الأرمن الكاثوليك. سنة ١٩٨٩ إنتقلت ملكيّتها لوقف الورديّة، غادير، ورُمّمت. كرّسها الخورأسقف يعقوب الشمالي على اسم القدّيسة ريتا. سنة ٢٠٠٢ أُعيد ترميمها وأُضيفت إليها الباحة الخارجيّة. سنة ٢٠١٥ تمّ الاحتفال باليوبيل الفضيّ لتكريسها. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب، بواجهة نيوكلاسيكيّة.

The Chapel of St. Rita - Ghadir

In 1906, the Armenian Catholic family Khorcheid Elian built a funerary chapel dedicated to Sts. Peter and Paul. In 1989, the chapel was purchased by the parish of the Rosary - Ghadir. It was then rededicated to St. Rita by Chorbishop Yaqoub Chemaly. In 2002, the chapel underwent restoration, and an external garden was added. In 2015, the chapel celebrated its silver jubilee. The structure features a crossed vault with a neoclassical facade.
