محبسة مار بهنام - وادي حدشيت قنوبينمحبسة قديمة من القرن الثالث عشر، وهي قبو بعقد سريريّ وثلاث حنايا. تحتوي المحبسة على بقايا رسم جداريّ وكتابةً سريانيّة، ومذبح مصنوع حجريّ. أمّا مار بهنام فهو أميرٌ فارسٌ من بلاد ما بين النهرين، ترك كلّ ما له وفضّل الإستشهاد في سبيل المسيح على ترك إيمانه، نال إكليل الشهادة في القرن الرابع. واتصلت شفاعته بالموارنة من خلال الرهبان اليعاقبة في شمال لبنان.The hermitage of St Bahnam - The valley of Hasdshit QannoubineIt is an old XIIIth century hermitage, that consists of a single crib vault ending with three apses, with a stone altar, fresco remains and Syriac calligraphy. St Bahnam was a prince from Assyria, who preferred to leave his privileged life for the love of Christ, and he preferred martyrdom over recanting his Christian faith in the IVth century. He was made known to the Maronites by the Jacobite monks of Northern Mount Lebanon.

كنيسة مار بطرس وبولس - قرنة شهوان

شيّد أهالي قرنة شهوان كنيسةً بإسم الرسولين بطرس وبولس في أواخر القرن السابع عشر دفع معظم أكلافها الحاج مفرج غبريل، وكرّسها المطران الياس محاسب سنة ١٧٢٠. تجدّدت باتّفاق وتبرّعات سكان القرية عمومًا بسعي المطران بطرس الزغبي نحو سنة ١٩٠٨. تجدّد بناء الكنيسة عام ١٩١٢ في عهد الخوري إلياس زعرور كاهن الرعية، فأتت برسمها الباريسي آية قي الجمال والإبداع. سنة ١٩٩٦، رُممت الكنيسة و رُسمت الزجاجيات. الكنيسة بناء نيوغوطيّ الطراز.

The church of Sts. Peter and Paul - Cornet Chehwan

The church was built in the late 17th century, and the greater part of its expenses were covered by Hajj Moufarrej Ghobril. It was consecrated by Bishop Elias Mhaseb in 1720. Through the initiative of Fr. Elias Zaarour and the locals, it was rebuilt in 1912 and reconsecrated by Bishop Boutros el Zoghby. The church was reconstructed in a Neo-Gothic style with Parisian-inspired decorations. In 1996, it was renovated and stained glass windows were added.

كنيسة مار جرجس الشهيد - عقتانيت

بنيت الكنيسة في القرن الثامن عشر، تعرّضت للتخريب خلال أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ بحنية واحدة. تضمّ الكنيسة أيقونتين مقدسيّيتين للسيّدة والعماد، ولوحةً لمار جرجس تعود لسنة ١٩١٦ من عمل خليل عقل. تجدّدت وأعاد تكريسها المطران مارون العمّار في ٢٤ نيسان ٢٠٢٢.
The church of St George the martyr - Aqtanit

The church was built in the XVIIIth century and sabotaged during the war of 1860. The structure consists of a crossed vault with a single nave. The church holds two icons from the school of Jerusalem: the Theophany and the Madonna and a painting of St George by Khalil Akl dating back to 1916. The church was renewed and reconsecrated by bishop Maroun Al Ammar on the 24th of April 2022.

بحسب البطريرك الدويهيّ بني الدّير سنة ١٣٣٩. كان دير مرت مورا أوّل كرسي لمطرانيّة إهدن، قبل انتقالها إلى دير مار سركيس رأس النهر. سنة ١٦٩٥ أعطى البطريرك الدويهيّ الدّير لمؤسسي الرهبانيّة الحلبيّة اللبنانيّة ليختبروا قانونهم الجديد وحياتهم المشتركة، فانضمّ إليهم آخر ناسك عاش فيه وهو أنطونيوس الإهدني. سنة ١٦٩٨ انشقّ بعض الرهبان عن القرعلي وأسسوا رهبانيّة جديدة مع جبرايل حوّا في مارت مورا لم تدم طويلًا. يتألّف الدير من كنيسة ذات عقد سريريّ، وغرفة كبيرة ملاصقة. رُمّم الدّير سنة ١٩٨٣.

The monastery of St Moura - Ehden

According to Patriarch Doueihy the monastery was built in 1339, and was the first seat for the bishops of Ehden before they moved tho St Serge’s monastery. In 1695 Patriarch Doueihy gave the monastery to the newly founded Alepan Lebanese Order, so the founding fathers could experience their new monastic rule and communal life. The last hermit of the monastery Antonios el Ehdeny joined the order. In 1698 the first split in the order happened and some monks decided to start a new order with Gebrayel Hawa in Mart Moura. This second order didn’t persist. The monastery consists of a crib vaulted church with an adjacent room, and was restored in 1983.
