كنيسة مارت تقلا - المروجالكنيسة مبنيّة أوائل القرن الثامن عشر، تسلّمتها الرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة سنة ١٧٩٢، وكانت الكنيسة متهدّمة فرممّتها، وقامت بخدمة شركاء آل أبي اللمع المسيحيّين. سنة ١٨٢٩ وسّع الرهبان بناء الكنيسة التي أخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٢٩: نمط بازيليكيّ مسقوف بسوقٍ واحد. للرهبانيّة أنطش بالقرب من الكنيسة تتابع من خلاله النشاط الرعويّ والرسوليّ. تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات والأعمال الفنيّة القديمة والحديثة من مدارس مختلفة، أهمّها لوحة القدّيسة تقلا لحبيب سرور.The church of St Thecla - MroujThe first church was built in the early XVIIIth century, and was given as a donation to the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1792 to restore it and give pastoral care to the maronite subjects of the Abi Al Lamah lords. In 1829 the monks enlarged the church and it took its current form in 1929: a single roofed nave basilical plan. The Order built a presbytery near the church and serves the parish spiritual needs. The church is decorated with many old and new works of art from different schools, the most important being the painting of St Thecla behind the altar.

كنيسة مار شينا - حردين

أواسط القرن التاسع عشر أصبح أهالي حردين بحاجةٍ لكنيسةٍ رعائيّةٍ كبيرةٍ، فجاء بناء كنيسة مار شينا بعقدٍ مُصالب سنة ١٨٤٤. ومار شينا هو لقبٌ سريانيّ لأبراميوس الأنطاكي الذي كان لصًّا متنكرًا بزيّ راهبٍ أراد سرقة ديرٍ للراهبات فحدثت معجزة شفاءٍ غيّرت حياته من لصِّ إلى ناسك. هذه المعجزة خلدتها لوحة الكنيسة وهي من عمل الحبيس ليشع الحرديني شقيق القديس نعمة الله. رُمّمت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٩٨ بعد إعلان تطويب مار نعمة الله، وهي الكنيسة التي شهدت على طفولته وخدم مذبحها.

The Church of St. Chaina - Hardine

During the mid-19th century, the villagers of Hardin felt the need for a parish church. The construction of a magnificent cross-vaulted structure was completed in 1844. The church was dedicated to St. Chaina, a 4th-century thief named Abramius of Antioch, who, after attempting to raid a nunnery disguised as a monk, witnessed a miracle that led to his conversion. This miracle is depicted in a painting hanging in the church's apse, which was created by the hermit Fr. Lichaa el Hardini, the brother of St. Nematullah. The church was restored in 1998 following the beatification of Fr. Nematullah, who had been a child and an altar boy in this very church.

كنيسة القدّيسة صوفيا - زبدين

هي كنيسة صغيرة قائمة على أطراف البلدة. تاريخ بنائها مجهولُ، لكنّ هندستها تشير أنّها تعود للقرون الوسطى. الكنيسة عبارة عن قبو عقدٍ سريريٍّ ينتهي بحنية. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحة للمستشرق البولونيّ بول شلافاك تعود للقرن التاسع عشر.

The church of St Sophia - Zebdine

It is a small church in the village’s vicinity. The date it was built is unknown, yet its architecture is typical for the high middle ages.The church is a crypt with a crib vault ending with an apse. The church holds a painting by the polish orientalist Paul Shlavak.

A beautiful Romanesque church, Eglise Saint Jean Marc is the cathedral church of Jbail-Byblos. The Church is dedicated to Saint Jean Mark, the patron saint of the town, who is said to have founded the first Christian community of Byblos. The church itself was built in 1115 A.D by the Crusaders, originally as the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist. After their departure, earthquakes, invasions and other disasters have repeatedly damaged the structure, and for a few centuries it remained disused. In 1764, Emir Youssef Chehab, of the Druze dynasty that ruled a semi- autonomous Lebanon under the Ottomans, donated the church to L’Ordre Libanais Maronite (Lebanese Maronite Order) which subsequently restored and reopened in 1776 after re-dedicating it to St Jean Marc. British bombardments of Lebanon in 1840 caused further damage, but the church was restored yet again. Eglise Saint Jean Marc continues to serve the Maronite Christian community. One interesting feature in the church is its open- air domed baptistery on the northern side which dates from the original construction in 1115 A.D, The church is situated on Rue de Port, between the port and the archaeological area.
