كنيسة سيّدة الشير - إهمجكنيسة سيدة الشير الرعائيّة العجائبيّة، دُعيت بهذا الإسم نسبةً إلى المكان الذي أقيمت عليه وهو شير صخريّ يبلغ ارتفاعه حوالي خمسين مترًا. تعود الكنيسة الأولى إلى العصور الوسطى، وخُرّبت وأعيد بناؤها سنة ١٦٧٦، بعد عودة الأهالي إلى القرية. بدأ العمل في بناء الكنيسة بشكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٠٠ وتمّ إنجازها في العام ١٩٢٠. وهي تشتهر بعجائبها الكثيرة.The church of Our Lady of the cliff - EhmejThe parish church of our Lady was named after a 50 meter limestone cliff above which it stands. The first medieval church was sabotaged and rebuilt in 1676 after the Maronites' return to the village. In 1900 the church took its current form and was completed in 1920. The church is a pilgrimage site famous for the miracles that happened there.

بُنيت هذه الكنيسة على أنقاض كنيسة أقدم تعود للقرن الثامن. بوشر البناء سنة ١٨٧٠ وتمّ سنة ١٩٢١ فكانت أكبر كنيسة في لبنان آنذاك. رُمّمت سنة ١٩٧٩ وأظهر الترميم العقد المصنوع من خشب الأرز. سنة ١٩٩٦ إستُقدمت الساعة من إيطاليا.

The church of Our Lady of Assumption - Tannourin el Fawqa

The church was built over an older church dating back to the VIIIth century. The construction began from 1870 until 1921, becoming the biggest church in Lebanon at that time. The church was restored in 1979 and the cedar wood roof was revealed. A bell tower imported from italy was added to the structure in 1996.

كنيسة مار جرجس - بسكنتا

بنيت الكنيسة الحاليّة سنة ١٧٦٣ على أنقاض برجٍ صليبيّ. تتألف الكنيسة من صحنٍ كبير ينتهي بالحنية والمذبح، وعلى جهة الجنوب صحن آخر أعلى من مستوى الكنيسة ينتهي بمذبح مكرّس للقدّيسة تقلا. تحوي الكنيسة أيقونة مارونيّة للسيّدة تعود للقرن السابع عشر، أمّا لوحة مار جرجس فهي غربيّة الصنع.

The church of St George - Baskinta

The current church was built in 1763, over an old crusader’s tower. The church consists of a great nave ending with the apse and the altar. A smaller nave on the southern side is higher than the church ending with a small altar dedicated to St Thecla. The church holds a XVIIth century Maronite icon of the Madona, and a European painting of St George.

تقع كنيسة النبي إيليا للروم الملكيين الكاثوليك في بلدة علما الشعب، وهي جزء من تقليد مسيحي عريق يعود إلى قرون في هذه المنطقة. عُرفت البلدة منذ القرن التاسع عشر بوجود جماعات مسيحية، خصوصًا من الروم الملكيين والمَوارنة، وكانت تضم عدة كنائس صغيرة لخدمة الأهالي. تنتمي الكنيسة إلى الكنيسة الملكية الكاثوليكية ذات الجذور المرتبطة ببطريركية أنطاكية، وتتبع الطقس البيزنطي. وقد كُرِّست للنبي إيليا (مار إلياس)، وهو من أبرز الشخصيات الروحية في المنطقة. تُعدّ الكنيسة اليوم مركزًا دينيًا واجتماعيًا لأبناء الرعية، حيث تُقام فيها الصلوات والاحتفالات الدينية، خاصة عيد مار إلياس في 20 تموز.
