سنة ١٨٠٤ رسم المطران يوحنا الحلو الخوري حنا رزق (المطران يوسف) كاهنًا، وفوّض إليه بأمر البطريرك يوسف التيّان حقوق النيابة وزيارة أبرشية صور وصيدا، فسهر على خيرها ملاحظًا شؤونها متجوّلاً في أنحائها. بعد قرابة الثلاثة أعوام من تعيينه نائبًا عامًا على أبرشية صور وصيدا، وبعد أن عرف حاجتها الى العلم، باشر الأب حنا رزق بإنشاء دير ومدرسة مار يوسف في جزين. عام 1810 توقف الأب حنا عن البناء وعاد الى عين ورقة ليصبح رئيسًا للمدرسة في غسطا. عاد المطران يوسف بعد احداث ١٨٦٠ ليبني الدير والكنيسة. ميزة بناء هذه الكنيسة هي عدم وجود اي عمود في وسطها ، وطراز شبابيكها، ونوع حجارتها والدرج الداخلي في حائطها الشمالي. واستقدم لها اللوحات من روما والمذابح الرخاميّة من المرمر الأبيض. وهي آية في الجمال المعماري. اللوحات من عمل رسام ايطالي انريكو سكيفوني. وهي اليوم وقف الآل رزق. In 1804 Archbishop Youhanna el Helo ordained Hanna Rizk (later bishop Youssef) a priest, and gave him the mission with the blessing of Patriarch Tayyan to oversee as a vicar general the archdiocese of Tyr and Sidon. After three years in his mission, and seeing the urge for a seminary in the diocese, he began the construction of St. Joseph's Seminary in his hometown Jezzin. In 1810 the construction was delayed due to the appointment of Mgr. Rizk as a Rector in the Maronite Grand Patriarcal Seminary in Ain Warqa. Yet after the war in 1860 he resumed his initial project in Jezzin.The church is unique in its architecture: a high cieling with no columns. The white marble altars are beautifully ornate. And the paintings are the work of the Italian Enrico Scifoni. The establishment is now a private chapel owned by the Rizk family.

كنيسة سيّدة الدرّ - بشرّي
سيدة الدرّ أو الوريسة كان معبدًا فينيقيًّا تحوّل الى كنيسة في القرن الحادي عشر. بحسب الأب بطرس ضو "تحوّل هذا المعبد الى كنيسة، وكان يوجد فيه رسوم جدرانيّة من القرن الثاني عشر وتحتوي على أسماء القدّيسين باليونانيّة، مما يدلّ على أن الموارنة في وادي قاديشا كانوا حتى القرن الثالث عشر على اتصال بالحضارة البيزنطيّة". الكنيسة عبارة عن مغارة محفورة في الصخر ذات خوروسين، لعلّ جداريتها الأجمل هي الظهور الإلهيّ.

The church of Our Lady of the Milk - Bcharre

The church of Our Lady of the Milk or El Waryse is a Phoenician temple converted in the XIth century. According to the historian Fr. Boutros Daw: ”The shrine was converted into a fresco covered church in the XIIth century with the saints name written in greek, indicating that the Maronites in that era kept contact with the Byzantines”. The church consists of a man made cave with a double apse. The best kept fresco is that of the Epiphany over the altar.

تمّ تشييد الكنيسة بدايةً على أنقاض معبد قديم وذلك في العام ١٦٦٢. وُسّع البناء في العام ١٨٤٨ وتم أضافة قبّة الجرس. وفي عام ١٩٤٦، بُني المبنى الجديد الذي أضيف إلى مبنى الكنيسة. رُمّمت الكنيسة مؤخرًا سنة ٢٠٢٢. البناء بازيليكيّ الطراز بسوقٍ واحدٍ مسقوف. تحوي الكنيسة أيقونةً من عمل الخوري موسى ديب.

The church of Our Lady - Aramoun

The church was first built in 1662. It was enlarged and the bell tower was added in 1848. The adjacent building was built in 1946. The church was finally renewed in 2022. The church is built following a single nave basilical plan. The church holds a maronite icon of the Madonna by Fr Moussa Dib.

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٠٥ بموجب اتفاق بين عائلتي أبي يونس وعاد يعود ل٢٨ تشرين الأوّل سنة ١٩٠٢، صادق عليه المطران نعمةالله سلوان. بنيت الكنيسة على مراحل كما تشهد المداميك البارزة في جدرانها. كرّس الكنيسة الخورأسقف يوسف الحايك سنة ١٩٣٩. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مصالب مرتفع، تنتهي بحنية مستقيمة ومذبح، رمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين. للكنيسة قبّتين للجرس إحداها مثمّنة الأضلاع والأخرى مربعة. تحوي الكنيسة على ثلاث لوحات من عمل داوود القرم تُمثّل التجلي والسيّدة ومار يوسف.

The church of the Holy Savior - Hammana

In 1902 an accord to build a church was concluded between the two families of Abi Youness and Aad, it was promulgated by Bishop Nematullah Selwan on the 28th of October. The construction ended in 1905. The church was consecrated by Chorbishop Youssef el Hayek in 1939. The structure consists of a crossed vault with three straight apses and three altars. The church was renovated in the late XXth century. The building is ornated with two bell towers one octagonal and the other squared. The church holds three paintings by Dawood el Qorm depicting the Transfiguration, the Madonna and St Joseph.
