دير الصليب ومحابس مار بسكوان ومار سلوان - وادي حولات حدشيتدير الصليب يعود للقرون الوسطى، هو دير عاصٍ فيه كنيسة بخورسين. في الحنيتين جداريّات بيزنطيّة بكتابة سريانيّة تمثّل في إحداها الرسل والأخرى البشارة. على الجدار الشماليّ جداريّة الصلب وتشبه الى حدٍّ كبير منمنمة رابولا وتنتمي للمدرسة السريانيّة. وضع الجداريّات مذرٍ بفعل مرور الزمن والتخريب. في سفح الجبل قرب الدّير محبستين، الأولى لمار بسكوان وهو شفيع الإستعداد للموت عند أهالي حدشيت، والأخرى لمار سلوان.The Monastery of the Holy Cross and the hermitages of Sts Beskwan and Silwan - The valley of Houlat HadsheetThe monastery of the Holy Cross is a medieval monastery in the Holy Valley. The main church is a double apse structure decorated by byzantine frescoes with Syriac inscriptions depicting on one apse the apostles and on the other the Annunciation. On the northern wall there is a fresco of the crucifixion from the Syriac school of iconography, most probably a reproduction of Rabbula’s miniatures. The frescoes are in dire condition due to time and sabotage. In the cliff of the mountain near the monastery stand two hermitages: St Beskwan the patron of the preparation for death to the people of Hadsheet and St Silwan the athonite.

كنيسة مار يعقوب المقطّع - رشدبّين

كنيسة صغيرة تعود من حيث الهندسة والشكل إلى العصر البيزنطيّ وتقع بقرب المعبد الرومانيّ. تتألف من عقد سريريّ بحنيةٍ واحدة. يشكّل الجزء الأماميّ من الكنيسة قسم للموعوظين. ومار يعقوب هو قديّس فارسيّ من القرن الرابع، كان فارسًا نبيلاً، ولم يجحد إيمانه فنال إكليل الشهادة.

The church of St Jacob the Persian - Reshdebbin

A small church near the old roman temple. It dates back to the Byzantine era according to its architecture. The church consists of a crib vaulted ceiling ending with a single apse. The frontal part is occupied by a narthex. St Jacob was a Persian third century noble knight who suffered martyrdom so he wouldn’t recant his faith.

بدأ بناء الكنيسة بسعي الخوري مخايل العلم وبمساعدة إخوته، حوالي سنة ١٨٩٣، وكان الفراغ من البناء سنة ١٩٠٠ كما ورد في محضر الزيارة الرعائيّة لجبّة بشرّي. نُقش الشعر على مدخلها سنة ١٩٢٣. في الكنيسة لوحة لمار بطرس من عمل جوزيف العلم تعود الى سنة ٢٠٠٥.

The church of St Peter - Abdyn

The church was built by the aid of Fr Michael El Alam with the help of his brothers in 1893. It was achieved in 1900 according to the pastoral visit record of Bcharre’s area in the same year. A poem was engraved on the frontal portico in 1923. The church holds a painting of St Peter by Joseph El Alam dating back to 2005.

بُنيت الكنيسة القديمة سنة ١٧٩٧، وهي من أقدم رعايا أعالي كسروان، تحوي ثلاث لوحات مهمّة: مار يوحنّا لداود القرم، السيّدة والطفل لحبيب سرور، ومار يوسف لكنعان ديب. بقربها بُنيت الكنيسة الجديدة في ١٤ أيلول سنة ١٩٨٤.

The church was built in 1797, and it is one of the oldest churches in the mountains of Keserwan. It holds three paintings: The Baptism of Jesus for Dawoud al Qorm, the Madona for Habib Srour, St Joseph for Kanaan Dib. Near the old church a new one erected and was consecrated on the 14th of September 1984.
