دير مار فوقا - غلبون دير مار فوقا في أعالي بلدة غلبون يعود بناؤه إلى الحقبة البيزنطيّة في القرن السادس. مع مرور الزمن، أصبح الدير أطلالًا وعبثت فيه عوامل الطبيعة. بقي من البناء بقايا الكنيسة التي أخذت شكلها الحاليّ في القرون الوسطى. الكنيسة بسوقٍ واحد بدون سقف وبحنية دائريّة. The monastery of St Focas - Ghalboun The monastery of St Focas was built in the VIth century during the Byzantine era. With time the monastery became abandoned, the only remains were those of the church that took its shape in the middle ages. The church is a single nave structure with no roof and a semi circular apse.

كنيسة مار بطرس وبولس - قرنة شهوان

شيّد أهالي قرنة شهوان كنيسةً بإسم الرسولين بطرس وبولس في أواخر القرن السابع عشر دفع معظم أكلافها الحاج مفرج غبريل، وكرّسها المطران الياس محاسب سنة ١٧٢٠. تجدّدت باتّفاق وتبرّعات سكان القرية عمومًا بسعي المطران بطرس الزغبي نحو سنة ١٩٠٨. تجدّد بناء الكنيسة عام ١٩١٢ في عهد الخوري إلياس زعرور كاهن الرعية، فأتت برسمها الباريسي آية قي الجمال والإبداع. سنة ١٩٩٦، رُممت الكنيسة و رُسمت الزجاجيات. الكنيسة بناء نيوغوطيّ الطراز.

The church of Sts. Peter and Paul - Cornet Chehwan

The church was built in the late 17th century, and the greater part of its expenses were covered by Hajj Moufarrej Ghobril. It was consecrated by Bishop Elias Mhaseb in 1720. Through the initiative of Fr. Elias Zaarour and the locals, it was rebuilt in 1912 and reconsecrated by Bishop Boutros el Zoghby. The church was reconstructed in a Neo-Gothic style with Parisian-inspired decorations. In 1996, it was renovated and stained glass windows were added.

دير مار روكز – مراح المير القليعات
يُعتَبَر دير مار روكز – مراح المير أوَّل ديرٍ للرهبانيَّة في قضاء كسروان. بُني في ٢٦ أيلول ١٨٥٤، في عهد الأب العام سابا كرَيدي، بعد أن حصلت الرهبانيّة على رضى البطريرك يوسف راجي الخازن. وكان الانتهاء من بناء الدير سنة ١٨٦٢. سنة ١٩٩٠ رُمّم الدّير بعد القذائف التي دمّرت قسمًا كبيرًا منه، وبنيت بقربه مدرسة لتعليم الأولاد.

The Monastery of St Rock - Mrah el Mir Qlayaat
The Monastery of St Rock is the first one for the Lebanese Maronite Order in Kesserwan. It was built in 26 september 1854 during the reign of Abbot Saba Kreidy after the approval of Patriarch Youssef Raji el Khazen, and the construction was done in 1862. In 1990 the monastery was renovated after it was damaged by bombshells during the civil war. A shcool was added to educate local children.
