دير مار فوقا - غلبون دير مار فوقا في أعالي بلدة غلبون يعود بناؤه إلى الحقبة البيزنطيّة في القرن السادس. مع مرور الزمن، أصبح الدير أطلالًا وعبثت فيه عوامل الطبيعة. بقي من البناء بقايا الكنيسة التي أخذت شكلها الحاليّ في القرون الوسطى. الكنيسة بسوقٍ واحد بدون سقف وبحنية دائريّة. The monastery of St Focas - Ghalboun The monastery of St Focas was built in the VIth century during the Byzantine era. With time the monastery became abandoned, the only remains were those of the church that took its shape in the middle ages. The church is a single nave structure with no roof and a semi circular apse.

كنيسة مار أسطفان - لحفد

الكنيسة بالأصل كانت معبدًا رومانيًّا على تلّة حوّله الصليبيّون إلى بُرجٍ للمراقبة، سكنه مقدَّموا لحفد. سنة ١٨١٠ تحوّل المكان إلى كنيسةٍ بعقدٍ مُصالبٍ لتكون رعيّة البلدة. مذبح الكنيسة ولوحة مار أسطفان، مُستوردان من إيطاليا بسعي من أبناء البلدة في بيروت أواخر القرن التاسع عشر. حمل إبن لحفد الطوباوي أسطفان نعمه شفاعة صاحب الكنيسة وتكنّى باسمه عند دخوله الرهبانيّة.

The church of St Stephen - Lehfed

The church was originally a pagan roman temple on a hill that was converted into a watch tower by the crusaders, after they left the land the maronite lords of Lehfed used it as residence. In 1810 the crossed vault structure took it’s current shape and was converted into a parochial church. The altar and the painting are imported from Italy with the help of the villagers who lived in Beirut at the end of the XIXth century. Blessed Stephen Nehme, the son of Lehfed, took the name of the Church's patron saint when he entered the monastic life.

كنيسة سيّدة الحوش - غلبون

بُنيت سنة ١٩٤٧ بهمّة طالب خيرالله شاهين. البناء كناية عن مستطيل مسقوف على النمط البازيليكيّ بسوقٍ واحد. تقوم الكنيسة على أنقاض دير بيزنطيّ وقد رُمّمت مرارًا.

The church was built in 1947 with the aid of Taleb Khairalla Chahin. The structure is based on a single nave basilical plan. The church was built over the ruins of a Byzantine monastery and was restored many times.

كنيسة مار أنطونيوس البادوانيّ - بلّونة

بناها الشيخ فخر بن عبد الملك بن نوفل بن نادر الخازن ١٧٨٣، جُدّدت على يد أحفاد المؤسّس. هي كنيسة صغيرة ووقفيّة ذريّة لآل الخازن. اللوحة التصويريّة من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاويّ.

The church of St Anthony of Padua - Ballouneh

The church was built by Sheikh Fakher son of Abdul Malek Al Khazen, in 1783. It was renewed many times by his descendants. The small church is a private familial chapel. The painting is the work of Kanaan Dib of Dlebta.
