دير مار فوقا - غلبون دير مار فوقا في أعالي بلدة غلبون يعود بناؤه إلى الحقبة البيزنطيّة في القرن السادس. مع مرور الزمن، أصبح الدير أطلالًا وعبثت فيه عوامل الطبيعة. بقي من البناء بقايا الكنيسة التي أخذت شكلها الحاليّ في القرون الوسطى. الكنيسة بسوقٍ واحد بدون سقف وبحنية دائريّة. The monastery of St Focas - Ghalboun The monastery of St Focas was built in the VIth century during the Byzantine era. With time the monastery became abandoned, the only remains were those of the church that took its shape in the middle ages. The church is a single nave structure with no roof and a semi circular apse.

طحنيش بنى الموارنة الكنيسة مع قدومهم إلى البلدة سنة ١٧٠٥، وهي أقدم كنيسة مارونيّة في البقاع الغربيّ. الكنيسة صغيرة كناية عن سوقٍ واحد مسقوفة. سقف الكنيسة بغداديّ. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحةٍ للسيّدة منقولة عن موريللو تعود لأربعينات القرن العشرين. مع بداية القرن الحاليّ رُمّمت الكنيسة ورُسم على السقف لوحات تجريديّة.

The church of Our Lady of Assumption - Deir Tahnish

The maronites built the church in 1705 when they came to the village. It is the oldest maronite church in the West Bekaa region. The structure consists of a small single roofed nave. The church holds a painting copied from Murillo’s Immaculate conception dating back to the forties. The church was renovated in the last decade and the roof was decorated with abstract frescoes.

كنيسة مار يعقوب المقطّع - دلبتا

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٦٤، وهي عقد مصالب بحنية واحدة وثلاث مذابح. هي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة. رممّت للمرّة الأولى ما يين سنة ١٨٩٣ و١٨٩٤ وأقيم فيها المذبح الكبير. أمّا الترميم الثاني يعود لسنة ١٩٧٥. تحوي الكنيسة على مدفن المطران يوحنّا مراد رئيس أساقفة بعلبك (+١٩٣٧). كذلك على مجموعة كبيرة من اللوحات لكنعان ديب إبن البلدة تعود لأواخر القرن التاسع عشر.

The church of St Jacob the Persian - Dlebta

Built in 1764, it is the town’s parochial church. The structure is a crossed vault ending in a single apse with three altars. The church was restored between 1893 and 1894 when the current high altar was brought, and in 1975. In the church is buried Mgr. Youhanna Mrad (+1937) archbishop of Baalbek. The church holds a great number of paintings by Kanaan Dib the son of Dlebta, dating back to the late XIXth century.

بنى دير مار ميخائيل مشايخ آل بليبل سنة 1740. تسلَّمت الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيَّة هذه الوقفيَّة من الشيخ عبد الأحد بليبل، في تشرين الثاني 1756، بموجب صكٍّ مكتوبٍ وموقَّعٍ ومصدَّقٍ، لكي "تعلِّم الأولادَ وتفيد القريبَ... والأنفس حسب الإمكان"... شيَّدت الكنيسة الجديدة، سنة 1905. وبدأت، سنة 1997، ورشة ترميمٍ للكنيسة وإلباسها حلَّةً جديدة. يتابع دير مار ميخائيل رسالتَه الثقافيَّة بالإضافة إلى نشاطاته الرعويَّة.

The Monastery was built by the Bleibels a feudal lords family in 1740. It was put under the custody of the Lebanese Maronite Order by Sheikh Abd el Ahad Bleibel in 1756, in a decree that widens the mission of the monastery to education and pastoral work.
The church was rebuilt in 1905. And since 1997 the monastery was renewed to continue the mission.
