كنيسة مار جرجس: غلبون كنيسة القرية الأولى كانت تقع في محلّة الحوش. بعد توسّع القرية مع بداية القرن التاسع عشر، قرّر الأهالي بناء كنيسةٍ جديدةٍ مكان محبسة مار جرجس والتي كانت قائمة بدورها على أنقاض معبدٍ فارسيٍ. وواجهة الكنيسة الغربية ما زالت تحتفظ بشعار الإمبراطوريّة الفارسية، النمر وزهرة اللّوتوس.. أما المذبح القديم فقد إستقدمه الخوري بطرس أبي سليمان من روما، بواسطة البطريرك الياس الحويّك. ورُسمت على جدران الكنيسة أيقونات بريشة كنعان ديب الذي رسم أيقونة مار جرجس القديمة،سنة ١٩٠٤. سنة ٢٠٠٦ رُمّمت الكنيسة. The church of St George - Ghalboun The first parochial church was built in the Hawsh area. With the expansion of the village in the beguiling of the XIXth century the locals decided to build their new church over an old hermitage dedicated to St George. The hermitage was built over a Persian Achaemenid watch tower. The church’s western wall still holds a stone from the old tower with Achaemenid engravings: a tiger and a lotus. The church was decorated with frescoes and a painting of St George by Kanaan Dib in 1904. The old marble altar was brought from Rome by Fr. Boutros Abi Sleiman with the aid of Patriarch Elias Howeyck. In 2006 the church was restored.

تعودُ هذه الكنيسة إلى القرن السابع بحسب التقليد، خُرّبت الكنيسة الأولى مع حملة المماليك في القرن الثالث عشر. أْعيد البناء سنة ١٦٥٠، وجُدّد سنة ١٧١٢. سنة ١٩١١ ذُهِّب المذبح الرئيسيّ.
رُمّمت الكنيسة على عدّة مراحل وحقبات: ١٩٠٧ و ١٩٧٤ و ٢٠٠١. بُنيَ الرواق أمام الكنيسة سنة ١٩١٢. في الكنيسة ثلاث أروقة: السيّدة ولوحتها من عمل القسّ بطرس القبرصيّ الراهب اللبنانيّ، وهو أوّل رسّام في جبل لبنان القديم، مار جرجس، ومار يوحنّا المعمدان. هذه الكنيسة هي الأقدم في بسكنتا، وكانت أروقتها مقسومةً قديمًا بين الموارنة والروم الكاثوليك والروم الأرثوذكس، رعيّة واحدة لكنائس مختلفة!

Our Lady of the Assumption - Baskinta

The first church dates back to the VIIth century, yet it was destroyed with the Mamluk’s invasion in the XIIIth century. The church was rebuilt in 1650, and renewed in 1712. In 1911 the high altar was gilded. The church was renewed several times during its long history: 1907, 1974, and 2001. In 1912 a narthex was added with an Antipendium. The church is in a basilical plan and divided by three naves: Our Lady’s with a Madonna painting drawn by Boutros el Qobrsy the Lebanese Cypriot monk and the first known painter in Mount Lebanon, St John the baptist, and St George. This church is the oldest in Baskinta, in earlier times the naves where divided between the village's Christian communities: the Maronites, the Melkite, and the Greek Orthodox. One parish for three christian communities.

الكنيسة مبنيّة أوائل القرن الثامن عشر، تسلّمتها الرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة سنة ١٧٩٢، وكانت الكنيسة متهدّمة فرممّتها، وقامت بخدمة شركاء آل أبي اللمع المسيحيّين. سنة ١٨٢٩ وسّع الرهبان بناء الكنيسة التي أخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٢٩: نمط بازيليكيّ مسقوف بسوقٍ واحد. للرهبانيّة أنطش بالقرب من الكنيسة تتابع من خلاله النشاط الرعويّ والرسوليّ. تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات والأعمال الفنيّة القديمة والحديثة من مدارس مختلفة، أهمّها لوحة القدّيسة تقلا لحبيب سرور.

The church of St Thecla - Mrouj

The first church was built in the early XVIIIth century, and was given as a donation to the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1792 to restore it and give pastoral care to the maronite subjects of the Abi Al Lamah lords. In 1829 the monks enlarged the church and it took its current form in 1929: a single roofed nave basilical plan. The Order built a presbytery near the church and serves the parish spiritual needs. The church is decorated with many old and new works of art from different schools, the most important being the painting of St Thecla behind the altar.

كنيسة مار دانيال - حدث الجبّة

بعد تحوّلهم الى المسيحيّة حوّل أهالي الحدث معبدهم إلى كنيسةٍ على اسم مار الياس، ما زالت قائمة في القسم الجنوبيّ. سنة ١١١٠ باشرت بناء كنيسة مار دانيال صالومي إبنة الخوري باسيل من بشرّي. تعرّض البناء للخراب على يد المماليك سنة ١٢٨٣. وأخذ البناء شكله الحاليّ في زمن حبريّة البطريرك شمعون الحدثيّ. رُمّم البناء أواخر القرن العشرين. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة الطراز بعقد مصالب وثلاث حنايا مع رواق خارجيّ معقود. تحوي الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات لداوود القرم تعود للقرن التاسع عشر.

The church of St Daniel - Hadath el Jubba

After the conversion of the people of Hadath el Jubba, they converted an old pagan shrine to a church dedicated to St Elijah the prophet. In 1110 Salome the daughter of the priest Basil of Bsharre began building a new church dedicated to Daniel the prophet. The church was destroyed by the Mamluks in 1283. It then took its final shape during the pontificate of Patriarch Chamoun el Hadathy, and was renovated in the late XXth century. The church consists of a basilical plan with three naves with arched vaults and three apses, with an external ambulatory. It holds three paintings by Dawoud el Qor
