كنيسة مار جاورجيوس - المحيدثة بكفيّاتسلّمت الرهبانيّة الباسيليّة الشويريّة حجّة عام ١٧٢٦ لبناء كنيسة على إسم مار جرجس للروم الملكييّن الكاثوليك فشرعت بالبناء، وشهدت مراحل ترميم وتوسعة عام ١٩٠٠ و٢٠١١. تتميّز الكنيسة بالإيقونات المقدسيّة والبلديّة التي تعود للنصف الثاني من القرن الثامن عشر.تخدم كنيسة مار جرجس كلّ أبناء المنطقة وهي أمّ الرعايا الملكيّة والأقدم بينها.St George’s church - El Mhaydse BikfayaThe Bassilian Choueirite order received permission to build a church in Bikfaya in 1726, and decided to dedicate the new church to St George. The church underwent major restorations in 1900 and 2011. The church holds a collection of icons from the School of Jerusalem and some other local icons. The icons date back to the XVIIIth century. The church is the mother parish of all the Melkites in the region.

بُني الدير سنة 1700، آن عَرض الشيخ سليمان الهاشم العاقوريّ على الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة أن يسلِّمها مزرعة حوب لتنشئ فيها ديرًا. حوالي سنة 1714، عرض أهالي تنُّورين على المؤسِّس المطران عبدالله قراعلي، أن يسلِّموه وقف مار ضومط، لتقوم الرهبانيَّة بتعليم الأحداث. أنشأت الرهبانيَّة، سنة 1749، ديرًا على اسم العذراء مريم، على أنقاض كنيسةٍ قديمة. ومن ثمَّ عملت الرهبانيَّة على توسيع أملاكها في المحلَّة. سنة 1766، أوقف الأمير يوسف شهاب خرائب مار يعقوب الوادي ومار أنطونيوس. وسنة 1790، جعلت الرهبانيَّة دير السيِّدة ودير مار أنطونيوس ديرًا واحدًا، حيث هو اليوم، على اسم القدِّيس أنطونيوس الكبير. قرب الدير أُنشئت محبسة على اسم مار جرجس خرّجت كوكبة من الحبساء القدّيسين. كنيسته تحوي مذابح رخاميّة ومجموعة زيتيّات أهمها لوحة مار انطونيوس الكبير لداود القرم.


The mission of the Lebanese Maronite order started in Tannourin during the year 1700 when a local feudal lord Sleiman Hashem el Akoury gave the order a farm in Houb to build a monastery. In 1714 Bishop Abdalla Qaraaly was given custody over the church of St Doumit in order to start a monastic school. In 1790 the monks joined the two monasteries of the Madonna and St Anthony into the one that stands today. Near the monastery St George’s hermitage was erected. The monastic church holds beautiful marble altars and many oil paintings. The most important painting is the one depicting St Anthony the Great, painted by Dawoud El Qorm

كنيسة القدّيسة صوفيا - زبدين

هي كنيسة صغيرة قائمة على أطراف البلدة. تاريخ بنائها مجهولُ، لكنّ هندستها تشير أنّها تعود للقرون الوسطى. الكنيسة عبارة عن قبو عقدٍ سريريٍّ ينتهي بحنية. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحة للمستشرق البولونيّ بول شلافاك تعود للقرن التاسع عشر.

The church of St Sophia - Zebdine

It is a small church in the village’s vicinity. The date it was built is unknown, yet its architecture is typical for the high middle ages.The church is a crypt with a crib vault ending with an apse. The church holds a painting by the polish orientalist Paul Shlavak.

كنيسة السيّدة - عمشيت
بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى أواسط القرن العاشر وكان يطلق عليها إسم سيّدة البيدر. سنة ١٧٨٢ بُنيت الكنيسة الحاليّة. سنة ١٩٠٠. أُفيم في الكنيسة بيت القربان الرخاميّ ووضعت لوحة سيّدة الإنتقال. سنة ١٩٥٨ رمّمت الكنيسة ووُسّعت آخذة شكلها الحاليّ بعدما أُزيلت من داخلها الشواهد والقبور. رُمّمت الكنيسة أواخر القرن العشرين وهي كناية عن عقد مُصالب ينتهي بحنية.

The church of Our Lady - Amshit
The first church was built in the middle of the Xth century and was known by our Lady of the field. In 1782 the current church was built. In 1900 the marble tabernacle and the painting of the Assumption were brought. In 1958 the church was restored and all of the tombs and the shrines where removed. The church was renewed in the latter part of the XXth century. The structure consists of a crossed vault ending with an apse.
