كنيسة سيّدة الساحة - البترونشيّدت الكنيسة على أنقاض كنيسةٍ قديمةٍ نهاية القرن التاسع عشر. سعى في إتمامها آل عقل نظرًا لقرب دارتهم من الكنيسة، وكان ذلك لإستقبال البطريرك الياس الحويّك ابن حلتا البترونيّة ليقيم القدّاس فيها أثناء زياراته للمدينة. رممّت على مراحل خلال القرن العشرين.The Church of Our Lady of the Saha - BatrounThe church is located in a town square hence its name "Al Saha". It was built in the late XIXth century over an older church. The sponsors of the construction project were the Akl family since their estate was nearby and they needed a chapel for Patriarch Elias El Howayek from Helta to say mass during his visits to the city. دير مار سابا الناسك - لحفد

هو دير قديم يعود لأوائل القرون الوسطى، لم يبقَ منه سوى الكنيسة. الكنيسة مبنيّة بعقدٍ سريريّ وحنيتين بمذبحين، على اسم السيّدة ومار سابا. على الجدران ماثلة بقايا جداريّات. إستُخدم الدّير كمركزٍ أسقفيّ في حبريّة البطريرك يوحنّا اللحفديّ. رُمّم أخيرًا سنة ٢٠١٠ بمناسبة تطويب الأخ اسطفان نعمه.

The monastery of St Sabas the hermit - Lehfed

An ancient ruined monastery that dates back to the high middle ages, with a church still standing. The church is a crib vault structure with a double apse and two altars dedicated respectively to the Madonna and St Sabas. Some traces of the frescoes can be noticed on the walls. The church was an episcopal residence during the pontificate of Patriarch John of Lehfed. The church was restored in 2010 with the canonisation of Blessed Estfan Nehme.

بنى الموارنة كنيستهم الأولى في معراب على أنقاض هيكل رومانيّ وثنيّ. خُرّبت هذه الكنيسة الأولى مع حملة المماليك على كسروان سنة ١٣٠٥. أعاد أبناء البلدة بناء الكنيسة على إسم ما باسيليوس وغريغوريوس، وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٨٨٥. في هذه الكنيسة يرقد على رجاء القيامة المطران بولس فؤاد نعيم تابت (١٩٢٩-٢٠٠٩) وهو أوّل سفير بابويّ مارونيّ لبنانيّ.


The first church was built by the Maronites over a roman pagan temple. The church was destroyed during the Mamluk’s campaign on Keserwan in 1305. After their return, the villagers reconstructed the church and it was consecrated to Sts Basil and Gregory. It took its final shape in 1885. The church is the final resting place of Bishop Paul Fouad Naim Tabet (1929-2009), the first Lebanese Maronite Papal nuncio

كنيسة مار نوهرا - بقرقاشا

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٠٩ في عهد البطريرك الياس بطرس الحويك، لتصبح الكنيسة الرعائيّة لضيق الكنيسة القديمة. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ، بنتهي بحنية وثلاث مذابح: مار نوهرا والسيّدة ومار يوسف. في وسط الكنيسة مذبح لمار جرجس. الكنيسة محافظة على طابعها الأوّل وهي تمثل فنّ أوائل القرن العشرين. للكنيسة مدخلين مزخرفين للرجال والنساء. تضم الكنيسة عددًا من اللوحات أهمّها لمار نوهرا وهي محليّة الصنع.

The church of St Nouhra - Bqorqasha

The church of St Nouhra (Logius the martyr) was built in 1909 during the pontificate of patriarch Elias Boutros El Howayek, after the local parish became too small for the community. The structure consists of a crossed vault ending with three altars: St Nouhra, the Madonna, and St Joseph. In the middle of the church stands a side altar dedicated to St George. The church conserves the original decor of the early XXth century. The church has two ornamented entrances to separate men and women’s seating places. It also holds many paintings the most important being a local icon of Saint Nouhra.
