كنيسة سيّدة الساحة - البترونشيّدت الكنيسة على أنقاض كنيسةٍ قديمةٍ نهاية القرن التاسع عشر. سعى في إتمامها آل عقل نظرًا لقرب دارتهم من الكنيسة، وكان ذلك لإستقبال البطريرك الياس الحويّك ابن حلتا البترونيّة ليقيم القدّاس فيها أثناء زياراته للمدينة. رممّت على مراحل خلال القرن العشرين.The Church of Our Lady of the Saha - BatrounThe church is located in a town square hence its name "Al Saha". It was built in the late XIXth century over an older church. The sponsors of the construction project were the Akl family since their estate was nearby and they needed a chapel for Patriarch Elias El Howayek from Helta to say mass during his visits to the city. بُنيت الكنيسة القديمة سنة ١٧٩٧، وهي من أقدم رعايا أعالي كسروان، تحوي ثلاث لوحات مهمّة: مار يوحنّا لداود القرم، السيّدة والطفل لحبيب سرور، ومار يوسف لكنعان ديب. بقربها بُنيت الكنيسة الجديدة في ١٤ أيلول سنة ١٩٨٤.

The church was built in 1797, and it is one of the oldest churches in the mountains of Keserwan. It holds three paintings: The Baptism of Jesus for Dawoud al Qorm, the Madona for Habib Srour, St Joseph for Kanaan Dib. Near the old church a new one erected and was consecrated on the 14th of September 1984.

كنيسة سيّدة الورديّة - حراجل

عام ١٧٢٢، بُنيَت كنيسة سيّدة الورديَّة على أنقاض معبدٍ وثنيّ. وفي العام ١٨٢١، بُنيَت كنيسةٌ أكبر حول الكنيسة القديمة. ولـمّا انتهى البناء هُدمَت الكنيسة القديمة، وكان ذلك في العام ١٨٦٢. العام ١٩٥٥ وُسِّعت الكنيسة وأُضيف عليها قسمٌ جديدٌ وأصبَحَتْ على ما هي عليه اليوم. اللوحة التصويريّة من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي.

The church of Our Lady of the Rosary - Hrajel

In 1722 the first church was built over the ruins of a pagan temple. In 1821 a bigger structure surrounded the old church and totally replaced it in 1862. In 1955 the church took its final form. The painting over the main altar is the work of Kanaan Dib.

كنيسة مار فوقا – أميون
كنيسة مار فوقا كنيسة أرثوذكسيّة تعود الى العهد الصليبيّ. شُيِّدت فوق معبد وثنيّ فوقه كنيسة بيزنطيّة تعود الى القرن السابع. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة، بثلاثة أروقة. تحوي الكنيسة جداريّات بيزنطيّة، تُمَثِّل السيد المسيح والعذراء مريم والرُسُل والقدّيسين، منهم مار فوقا ومار سمعان. دُفن في هذه الكنيسة قائد الجيش البيزنطيّ موريق، الذي أرسله الامبراطور يوستينيانوس لِقَمع تَمَرُّد الموارنة، وقتل في المواجهة التي حدثت في أميون بين الفريقين سنة ٦٩٤.

The church of St Focas - Amioun

The church of St Focas is a Greek Orthodox church built during the times of the Crusades, over a VIIth century Byzantine church built over a Roman temple. The church is basilical with three naves. It is decorated with medieval frescoes depicting Christ, the Theotokos, Apostles and other saints. In this church is buried the Byzantine commander Moricius sent by emperor Justinian to quell the Maronite’s revolt in 694, and died in the battle of Amioun.
