كنيسة سيّدة الساحة - البترونشيّدت الكنيسة على أنقاض كنيسةٍ قديمةٍ نهاية القرن التاسع عشر. سعى في إتمامها آل عقل نظرًا لقرب دارتهم من الكنيسة، وكان ذلك لإستقبال البطريرك الياس الحويّك ابن حلتا البترونيّة ليقيم القدّاس فيها أثناء زياراته للمدينة. رممّت على مراحل خلال القرن العشرين.The Church of Our Lady of the Saha - BatrounThe church is located in a town square hence its name "Al Saha". It was built in the late XIXth century over an older church. The sponsors of the construction project were the Akl family since their estate was nearby and they needed a chapel for Patriarch Elias El Howayek from Helta to say mass during his visits to the city. بُني الدّير سنة ١٦٥٤ بسعي الأب يوسف الرامي، وانتقلت الراهبات إلى الموضع الحالي سنة ١٧٤٤. شُيّدت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٥٠. أواسط القرن التاسع عشر وسّع المطران يوسف جعجع الدّير وجعله كرسيًّا لأبرشيّة قبرص، وجعله بعد سنة ١٨٧٠ مقرًّا لكهنة الأبرشيّة بإذن الكرسيّ الرسوليّ. تحوّل الى مدرسة أقفلت بعد الحرب العالميّة الأولى، بعدها أقفل وترك مهملاً. دشّنه بعد الترميم البطريرك نصرالله بطرس صفير في ٢٥ حزيران سنة ٢٠٠٠.
The Monastery of St George - Bherdok

The first monastery was built with the efforts of Fr Youssef El Ramy in 1654. Nuns relocated to the current building in 1744. The church was accomplished in 1750. In the middle of the XIXth century, Archbishop Youssef Geagea enlarged the building and made it the seat of the eparchy of Cyprus. After year 1870 he made it a residence to the diocesan priests by a decree from the Holy See. After that it was converted to a school that was shut down after World War I, and then was left to abandon. The monastery was renovated and rededicated on the 25th of June 2000 by later Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir.

تأسّس الدّير في مزرعة الراس بعد جلاء المماليك عن كسروان. عام ١٧٠٤ كان الدّير بعهدة القسّ بطرس صفرونيوس الحاقلانيّ من زوق مصبح، الذي ترهّب فيه مع رهبانه العبّاد.
قرّر المجمع اللبنانيّ المنعقد سنة ١٧٣٦ إلغاء الأديار المزدوجة، وفصل أديار الرهبان عن أديار الراهبات، وشدّد على أن يكون للراهبات قانون خاصّ. عند الإنتقال إلى مرحلة تطبيق مبدأ الفصل إتّفق القاصد الرسوليّ يوسف السمعانيّ مع المطران عبدالله قراعلي، على إنشاء دير قانونيّ يكون مثالًا وقدوة لسائر أديار الراهبات في دير ما الياس الراس. وهكذا آل الدير إلى الرّهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة.
باشر الرهبان، بعد استلام الدّير، بناء كنيسةٍ ودير مخصّص لسكن راهبات محصّنات فبني الدّير الجديد مع كنيسته الكبيرة. فُتحت أبواب الدير في ٦ كانون الثاني ١٧٤٠. ولا يزال إلى اليوم واحة صلاةٍ وتأملٍ، ومزارًا يقصده المؤمنون من كلّ حدبٍ وصوب.

The convent of St Elias el Ras - Jeita

The convent was built in the farm of El Rass after the Mamluks left Keserwan. In 1704 the convent was under the custody of Boutros Safronius el Haklany, a monk from Zouk Mosbeh. In 1736 the Lebanese Council dictated that nunneries shall be separated from monks' monasteries, thereby abolishing mixed monasteries, and giving nuns their own convents and rules. When it was time to apply the new rules, Monsignor Youssef El Semaany, the papal nuncio, and Bishop Abdallah Qaraaly, decided to give St Elias’s convent to the nuns of the newly formed Lebanese Order. It was decided to build a new convent suitable for contemplative nuns with a big church. The new convent was consecrated on the 6th of January 1740, and is still a haven for prayer and meditation, and a shrine for all pilgrims.

كنيسة مار أليشاع - عمشيت

سنة ١٨٠٧ بدأ بناء الكنيسة على يد فارس شاهين يوسف كرم، وكرّست سنة ١٨١٤. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالبٍ، مقسوم إلى قسمين مفصولين بشعريّة خشبيّة. سنة ٢٠٠٦ أثناء الترميم ظهرت في الكنيسة رسوماً جدرانية في حنية المذبح تعود إلى زمن بنائها. تضمّ الكنيسة مذبحًا إنعاميًّا مُغفّرًا من البابا لاون الثالث عشر. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحة لمار إليشاع من عمل جوستي، لوحة لمار شليطا من عمل عبدالله مطر اللحفدي ولوحة لمار روكز.

The church of St Elishah - Amshit

In 1807 the construction of the church began with Fares Chahin Youssef Karam, it was completed in 1814. The structure is a crossed vault cut in half with a wooden rood screen. In 2006 during restoration, XIXth century frescoes appeared in the apse. The high altar is a privileged altar by decree of pope Leo XIII. The church holds a painting by Josty depicting St Elishaa, a painting of St Chalita by Abdalla Matar El Lehfedy and a painting of St Roch.
