كنيسة سيّدة الساحة - البترونشيّدت الكنيسة على أنقاض كنيسةٍ قديمةٍ نهاية القرن التاسع عشر. سعى في إتمامها آل عقل نظرًا لقرب دارتهم من الكنيسة، وكان ذلك لإستقبال البطريرك الياس الحويّك ابن حلتا البترونيّة ليقيم القدّاس فيها أثناء زياراته للمدينة. رممّت على مراحل خلال القرن العشرين.The Church of Our Lady of the Saha - BatrounThe church is located in a town square hence its name "Al Saha". It was built in the late XIXth century over an older church. The sponsors of the construction project were the Akl family since their estate was nearby and they needed a chapel for Patriarch Elias El Howayek from Helta to say mass during his visits to the city. هي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة بُنيت سنة ١٨٨١. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية. شفيع الكنيسة هو مار يوحنّا المعمدان ويُحتفل بعيده يوم قطع رأسه في ٢٩ آب. تضم الكنيسة لوحةً تمثل حدث استشهاد يوحنّا المعمدان، ونقش على الباب بمثل عماد المسيح.

The church of St John - Zebdine

The church is Zebdine’s parrochial church, it was built in 1881. It consists of a cribbed vault. The church is dedicated to St John the Baptist and it commemorates him on the 29th of August the feast of his martyrdom. The church holds a painting depicting the martyrdom of St John and an ornate wooden door depicting the Theophany.

دير مار أبون - وادي قاديشا

هو دير مار يوحنّا القصير الملقب بأبون أحد آباء الصحراء. يتكوّن الدّير من كنيسةٍ وعدّة قلالي. تقع الكنيسة داخل مغارة وهي على نسق البازيليك في البناء، والأكبر بين كنائس الوادي. أوّل ذكر للدّير يعود إلى القرن الثاني عشر، عندما أفاد البطريرك اسطفان الدويهيّ أن "هذا الدير كان مديرًا لجميع النساك في منطقة بشراي" . جعله البطريرك يعقوب الحدثي مقرًّا له سنة ١٤٤٥. بقي الدّير مأهولاً للقرن السابع عشر، وهو اليوم ضمن ورشة ترميم لإصلاحه وتجديده.

The monastery of St Aboun - The Valley of Qannoubine

The monastery is dedicated to St John the short an Egyptian desert father known to the syriacs as Aboun. The monastery consists of a basilical cave church, the largest one in the holy valley, and some adjacent cells. The first mention of the monastery is from the XIIth century when it was the head of all the monasteries and hermitages in the region of Bsharre according to Patriarch Estefan el Douaihy. In 1445 the monastery became the patriarchal residence of Patriarch Yaaqoub el Hadathi. The monastery fell into ruins at the end of the XVIIth century, today a plan for it’s restoration is undergoing.

هو نبعُ ماءٍ طبيعيّ بقربه آثار رومانيّة. هذه الآثار تحوّلت إلى كنيسةٍ وديرٍ في العهد البيزنطيّ، وحافظ المكان على الإسم الذي يشير إلى شهداء سبسطية الأربعون. "

The Fountain of the Forty Martyrs - Yammouneh"

The fountain is a natural water source. Near the source, the Romans built some structures that were later converted into a church and a monastery during the Byzantine era. The ruins of the buildings are still visible, and the place has retained its dedication to the forty martyrs of Sebastopolis.
