أنطش مار يوسف - بسكنتاسنة ١٧٧٠ بدأ أهالي بسكنتا ببناء كنيسة على إسم القدِّيس يوسف، لكنّ البناء تعثّر. فكان ذلك سببًا لدعوة الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيَّة إلى تسلُّمها، سنة ١٧٧١، بناءً على طلب الأهالي. مقابل ذلك، كان على الرهبانيَّة أن تنشئ مدرسةً لتعليم الأحداث وإرشاد القريب في الأمور الروحيَّة. أتمَّت الرهبانيَّة، سنة ١٧٧٦، تشييد الكنيسة، وأنشأت مدرسةً على اسم القدِّيس يوسف، فكانت أقدم مدرسةٍ في بسكنتا، تهتمُّ بتعليم الأولاد مبادئ الدين والأخلاق، واللغتَين السريانيَّة والعربيَّة.The presbytery of St Joseph - BaskintaIn 1770 the locals of Baskinta began building a church dedicated to St Joseph, yet due to the lack of funds, they decided to hand the church to the Lebanese Maronite Order. The agreement was settled in 1771 and a school to teach the children and provide spiritual guidance was erected by the order. In 1776 the church was dedicated and the first Baskintan school opened providing a program that teaches Syriac, Arabic, Morals, and Catechism.

كنيسة مار يوسف - وطى الجوز
بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩١٧ فوق كنيسةٍ أقدم عهدًا. رمّمت وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٧٥. لوحة مار يوسف من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي تعود لسنة ١٨٦٨. تتميّز الكنيسة بقبّة حجريّة بشكل طابيّة كاهن يعلوها صليب.

The church of St Joseph - Wata el Jawz
The church was built in 1917 over an older church, and took its final form in the restoration of 1975. The painting of St Joseph is made by Kanaan Dib in 1868. The bell tower is topped by a sculpture of a Tabye, the traditional maronite priestly hat, with a cross over it.

كنيسة مار سمعان العاموديّ - عوسطا

هي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة. أُتِمّت بسعي رئيس الجمهوريّة آنذاك الشيخ بشارة الخوري في خمسينيّات القرن العشرين. نمط البناء بازيليكيّ بسيط، مع واجهة نيوغوطيّة. تتميّز الكنيسة بمذابحها الثلاث وجرن عمادها من الرخام الأبيض المنحوت، كذلك ثلاث لوحات تعود لمدرسة الأرت ديكو.

The church of St Simon the Stylite - Ghosta

The church is Ghosa’s parish church. It was built with the aid of then president Sheikh Bechara el Khoury in the fifties of the XXth century. Its style is basilical with a neo gothic facade. The church holds three ornate white marble altars and a baptistery, with three art deco paintings.

بنيت الكنيسة الحاليّة سنة ١٧٦٣ على أنقاض برجٍ صليبيّ. تتألف الكنيسة من صحنٍ كبير ينتهي بالحنية والمذبح، وعلى جهة الجنوب صحن آخر أعلى من مستوى الكنيسة ينتهي بمذبح مكرّس للقدّيسة تقلا. تحوي الكنيسة أيقونة مارونيّة للسيّدة تعود للقرن السابع عشر، أمّا لوحة مار جرجس فهي غربيّة الصنع.

The church of St George - Baskinta

The current church was built in 1763, over an old crusader’s tower. The church consists of a great nave ending with the apse and the altar. A smaller nave on the southern side is higher than the church ending with a small altar dedicated to St Thecla. The church holds a XVIIth century Maronite icon of the Madona, and a European painting of St George.
