كنيسة سيّدة الشير - عينطورين هي كنيسة على سفح الوادي المقدّس، بُنيت في القرن الثاني عشر، واتّخذها الأسقف تادروس مقرًّا له إلى يوم وفاته سنة ١٥٠٢ بحسب البطريرك الدويهيّ. بقيت الكنيسة فترةً طويلة مُهملة إلى أن رُمّمت في ستينيّات القرن العشرين. The church of our Lady of the Cliff - Aintourin The church is built on the cliff side of the Holy Valley. The church was built in the XIIth century and was made an episcopal residence by Bishop Tadros until his death in 1502, according to Patriarch Douweihy. The church was left abandoned for a long time and restored during the sixties.

كنيسة مار سمعان العاموديّ - العاقورة

في أعالي العاقورة طريق شقّها الفينيقيّون ورمّمها الرومان، بدليل كتابة لاتينيّة بقرب الكنيسة. ويفيد المؤرّخون أن دوميسيانوس قيصر الامبراطور الرومانيّ مرّ في بلدة العاقورة سنة ٨٢ بعد المسيح ووسّع الطريق شرقيّ البلدة، كما تشير الكتابة: IMP DOMITIANIA, S.V.T. حين نزح الموارنة في القرن السابع إلى البلدة، حوّلوا البناء الرومانيّ بقرب الشير إلى مزار لمار سمعان العاموديّ لتأثرهم بمار سمعان في سوريا. رُمّمت الكنيسة وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ بداية القرن العشرين.

St Simon the Stylite church - Aqoura

In the mountains east of Aqoura, the Phoenicians built a road that was enlarged by the Romans. Empror Domician passed by this road during his visit to Aqoura in 82 AD, and left a latin inscription near the church that says: IMP DOMITIANIA SVT. When the Maronites came to Aqoura in the VIIth century they converted the old roman building to a shrine church dedicated to St Simon the Stylite since they were influenced by the Stylites of Syria. The church took its final shape after restoration works in the early XXth century.

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦٠ على أنقاض كنيسة أخرى أقدم عهدًا، بسعي الخوري مارون العلم، وكرّسها المطران بولس موسى رئيس أساقفة طرابلس. رُمّمت سنة ١٩٨٤. تحوي الكنيسة على ثلاث مذابح: السيّدة وفوقه لوحة لداوود القرم تعود لسنة ١٨٨٤، قلب مريم الطاهر، ومار يوسف.

The church of Our Lady - Daraya

The church was built in 1860 over an older church, with the overseeing of Fr Maroun Al Alam. It was consecrated by Boulos Moussa Archbishop of Tripoli. The structure was restored in 1884. The church holds three altars: the main one is dedicated to the Virgin Mary with a painting drawn by Dawoud el Qorm dating back to 1884, The Immaculate Heart of Mary, and St Joseph.

كنيسة مار أغوسطينوس - كفرصغاب

كنيسة قديمة العهد تعود للقرون الوسطى. فيها عقد البطريرك يوسف الرزّي مجمع ضيعة موسى سنة ١٥٩٨ الذي أقرّ جملة من الإصلاحات الكنسيّة كاعتماد التقويم الغريغوريّ. بقيت الكنيسة خربةً ردحًا من الزمن، إلى أن رمّمت سنة ٢٠٠٧.

The church of St Augustin - Kfarsghab

An old medieval church dating back to the Middle Ages. In 1598 the council of Dai'at Moussa was held in it, presided by Patriarch Youssef El Rezzi, and proclaimed many liturgical renovations such as the adoption of the Gregorian calendar. The church laid in ruins for a long time, until it was renovated in 2007.
