كنيسة مار ضومط - زوق مكايل بنى الكنيسة الشيخ موسى الخازن سنة ١٧٢٨ وكانت وقفيّةً لآل الخازن. الكنيسة عقد مزدوج فريد بزخرفته ومقرنصاته وفتحات الضوء في السقف. كانت الكنيسة لزمنٍ طويل مرتبطة بعائلة الخازن إلى أن قامت بين سنتيّ ١٩٠٢ و ١٩٠٤ عاميّة زوق مكايل. في ذلك الزمان هدّد الأهالي بتحوّلهم إلى المذهب الأنغليكانيّ، ولتحول البطريركيّة دون ذلك، حوّلت وقفيّة الكنيسة من عائلة الخازن إلى أهالي البلدة، وخصّ البطريرك الياس الحويّك الرعيّة بزيارةٍ حبريّة وبعددِ من الإنعامات. تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات والتحف الكنسيّة القيّمة. رمّمت في ثمانينات القرن العشرين. The church of St Doumit - Zouk Mikael The church was built in 1728 by Sheikh Moussa el Khazen as a private church for the Khazen family. The structure is ornate with arabesque decoration and lucarnes in the vault, blending cribbed and crossed vaults. The church was a fiefdom of the Khazen family until the uprising of the peasants between 1902 and 1904. Back then the Maronite Patriarchy made the church a parish for the people to prevent them from turning to anglicanism. Also the Patriarch Elias Howayek made a pontifical visit to the parish and gave the parish many indulgences. The church holds a lot goldsmith artifacts and paintings. The building was renovated in the eighties of the XXth century.

كنيسة مار مارون - طرابلس

بُنيت الكنيسة وسط مدينة طرابلس سنة ١٩٥٦ في عهد المثلث الرحمات المطران أنطون عبد، صمّمها المهندس الإيطاليّ بيار أريكوني. نمطها بازيليكيّ بشكل صليب لاتينيّ وقبّة، مع برج ساعة في مقدّمها. تتميّز الكنيسة بمذابحها من رخام الكرارة الإيطاليّ وهي من عمل مؤسسة شبطيني الطرابلسيّة. كذلك تتميّز بالأثاث البيعيّ الغربيّ الطراز. رمّم البناء سنة ٢٠٠١ بسعي المثلث الرحمات المطران يوحنا فؤاد الحاج.

The church of St Maroun - Tripoli

The church was built in 1956 during the pontificate of Archbishop Antoun Abed. It was designed by the italian architect Pierre Ariconi according to a latin cross basilical plan with a transept and a dome. The church holds a bell tower with a clock on the western front. The church interior has a neo gothic style with carrera marble altars made by the Chabtiny association from Tripoli. The church aslo holds western style church furnishings. The building was restored in 2001 during the pontificate of Archbishop Youhanna Fouad el Hajj.

Built in 1660, the church played a great role in the history of the village, near it a school was built, and it was the main parish church before that of our Lady was built in the nineteenth century.
The church houses a collection of oil paintings dating back to the construction era: St George, an Immaculata, St Mamas, St Peter.
In the church’s sacristy are found the mortal remains of Fr. Gerges Srour 1688-1735, a holy priest with the title Al Qurbany, (the Eucharistic) because of his great devotion to the blessed sacrament and the great miracles that happened during elevation time in his Mass as attested by witnesses.


يعود البناء الى سنة ١٦٦٠. لعبت هذه الكنيسة دورًا هامًا في تاريخ البلدة اذ كانت الكنيسة الرعائية قبل بناء كنيسة السيذة. بقربها كانت تقوم مدرسة للأحداث. تحوي زيتيات تعود لفترة البناء: مار جرجس، السيدة، مار ماما، مار بطرس.
يرقد على رجاء القيامة في سكرستية الكنيسة رجل الله الخوري جرجس سرور ١٦٨٨-١٧٣٥، والمعروف بكراماته وعجائبه وعبادته للقربان الأقدس إذ كان وجه المسيح يظهر على القربانة عند الرفعة كما شهد معاصروه.
