كنيسة مار ضومط - زوق مكايل بنى الكنيسة الشيخ موسى الخازن سنة ١٧٢٨ وكانت وقفيّةً لآل الخازن. الكنيسة عقد مزدوج فريد بزخرفته ومقرنصاته وفتحات الضوء في السقف. كانت الكنيسة لزمنٍ طويل مرتبطة بعائلة الخازن إلى أن قامت بين سنتيّ ١٩٠٢ و ١٩٠٤ عاميّة زوق مكايل. في ذلك الزمان هدّد الأهالي بتحوّلهم إلى المذهب الأنغليكانيّ، ولتحول البطريركيّة دون ذلك، حوّلت وقفيّة الكنيسة من عائلة الخازن إلى أهالي البلدة، وخصّ البطريرك الياس الحويّك الرعيّة بزيارةٍ حبريّة وبعددِ من الإنعامات. تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات والتحف الكنسيّة القيّمة. رمّمت في ثمانينات القرن العشرين. The church of St Doumit - Zouk Mikael The church was built in 1728 by Sheikh Moussa el Khazen as a private church for the Khazen family. The structure is ornate with arabesque decoration and lucarnes in the vault, blending cribbed and crossed vaults. The church was a fiefdom of the Khazen family until the uprising of the peasants between 1902 and 1904. Back then the Maronite Patriarchy made the church a parish for the people to prevent them from turning to anglicanism. Also the Patriarch Elias Howayek made a pontifical visit to the parish and gave the parish many indulgences. The church holds a lot goldsmith artifacts and paintings. The building was renovated in the eighties of the XXth century.

دير مار أبون - وادي قاديشا

هو دير مار يوحنّا القصير الملقب بأبون أحد آباء الصحراء. يتكوّن الدّير من كنيسةٍ وعدّة قلالي. تقع الكنيسة داخل مغارة وهي على نسق البازيليك في البناء، والأكبر بين كنائس الوادي. أوّل ذكر للدّير يعود إلى القرن الثاني عشر، عندما أفاد البطريرك اسطفان الدويهيّ أن "هذا الدير كان مديرًا لجميع النساك في منطقة بشراي" . جعله البطريرك يعقوب الحدثي مقرًّا له سنة ١٤٤٥. بقي الدّير مأهولاً للقرن السابع عشر، وهو اليوم ضمن ورشة ترميم لإصلاحه وتجديده.

The monastery of St Aboun - The Valley of Qannoubine

The monastery is dedicated to St John the short an Egyptian desert father known to the syriacs as Aboun. The monastery consists of a basilical cave church, the largest one in the holy valley, and some adjacent cells. The first mention of the monastery is from the XIIth century when it was the head of all the monasteries and hermitages in the region of Bsharre according to Patriarch Estefan el Douaihy. In 1445 the monastery became the patriarchal residence of Patriarch Yaaqoub el Hadathi. The monastery fell into ruins at the end of the XVIIth century, today a plan for it’s restoration is undergoing.

كنيسة مار مارون - جزّين
بنيت الكنيسة بسعي أهالي البلدة سنة ١٨٦٨ على أنقاض الكنيسة الأولى التي خَربَت بعد أحداث ١٨٦٠. هي كنيسةٌ كبيرةٌ مبنيّةٌ على النمط البازيليكيّ بثلاث أسواق، وعقدها يُعدّ الأعلى في كنائس جبل لبنان القديم. اللوحة من عمل الرسّام داوود القرم.

The church of St Maroun - Jezzine
The church was built by the locals in 1868 to replace the old church that was devastated in the war of 1860. It is a big church with a basilical design and the highest vault in XIXth century Mount Lebanon. The painting of St Maroun is the work of Dawoud el Qorm.

كنيسة مار يوسف - عشقوت

كنيسة مار يوسف في محلّة جبل عشقوت، تم تشييدها سنة ١٩٢٦. الكنيسة وقف لآل موسى بنوها لبُعد مساكنهم عن البلدة. الكنيسة صغيرة عبارة عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ، إختبأ فيها الفراريّة خلال الحرب العالميّة الثانية.

The Church of St. Joseph - Ashqout

The Church of St. Joseph is located in the mountains surrounding Ashqout and was built in 1926 as a private chapel for the Moussa family. They built it because their homes were far away from the village center. The church is a small crossed vault and housed fleeing outlaws during World War II.
