كنيسة السيّدة - وادي جزّينبُنيت الكنيسة الأولى أواخر القرن الثامن عشر وهي كنيسة صغيرة بسقف خشبيّ بهبة من الشيخ بشير جنبلاط. نجت هذه الكنيسة بأعجوبة من الخراب خلال أحداث ١٨٤٠ حين حاول المعتدون إحراق السقف الخشبيّ فلم يحترق وسنة ١٨٦٠ حين وريت بالضباب. سنة ١٨٩٠ أخذت الكنيسة شكلها الحاليّ، لكنّ البناء لم يكتمل إلّا سنة ١٩٠٣ بسعي أبناء البلدة في الأرجنتين. في الكنيسة لوحتان للسيّدة إحداهما تعود للقرن الثامن عشر، والأخرى تعود لسنة ١٩٠١ من عمل الياس الأسمر كرم.The church of Our Lady - Wadi JezzineThe first church was built in the XVIIIth century, it was a small church with a wooden ceiling, on a plot of land donated by Sheikh Bachir Joumblat. The church was miraculously saved from being burned in 1840, and was hidden by a thick fog from the eyes of the aggressors during the war of 1860. In 1890 the church took its final shape with a stone vaulted ceiling. the church was finally completed in 1903. The church holds two paintings of the Virgin Mary: an XVIIIth century icon , and another one from 1901 by Elias Asmar Karam.

كنيسه مار نوهرا - عين الدلبة

بُنيت الكنيسه أواسط القرن التاسع عشر ، وترمّمت على عدّة مراحل. هي مكرّسة على إسم مار نوهرا وهو لقبّ سريانيّ للقدّيس لوجيوس، يعني النور. اللوحة الاساسيّة من روما تعود لسنة ١٩١٠. أمّا اللوحة القديمة للقدّيس، فهِيَ من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي. في الكنيسه مذبحُ لعذراء غوادالوبي لوحته مستوردة من المكسيك سنة ١٩٢٠.

The church of St Nohra - Ain el Delbe

The church was built in the mid XIXth century, and restored many times. The church is consecrated to St Logiue who’s named nouhro, which is the syriac translation of the word "light". The painting over the high altar is made in Rome in 1910. The old one over the side altar is the work of Kanaan Dib. Another side altar is dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe, and it is a donation from the village’s expats in Mexico in 1920.

Built in 1660, the church played a great role in the history of the village, near it a school was built, and it was the main parish church before that of our Lady was built in the nineteenth century.
The church houses a collection of oil paintings dating back to the construction era: St George, an Immaculata, St Mamas, St Peter.
In the church’s sacristy are found the mortal remains of Fr. Gerges Srour 1688-1735, a holy priest with the title Al Qurbany, (the Eucharistic) because of his great devotion to the blessed sacrament and the great miracles that happened during elevation time in his Mass as attested by witnesses.


يعود البناء الى سنة ١٦٦٠. لعبت هذه الكنيسة دورًا هامًا في تاريخ البلدة اذ كانت الكنيسة الرعائية قبل بناء كنيسة السيذة. بقربها كانت تقوم مدرسة للأحداث. تحوي زيتيات تعود لفترة البناء: مار جرجس، السيدة، مار ماما، مار بطرس.
يرقد على رجاء القيامة في سكرستية الكنيسة رجل الله الخوري جرجس سرور ١٦٨٨-١٧٣٥، والمعروف بكراماته وعجائبه وعبادته للقربان الأقدس إذ كان وجه المسيح يظهر على القربانة عند الرفعة كما شهد معاصروه.

دير مار يوسف - بحرصاف

شيّدت الرهبانيّة الأنطونيّة المارونيّة دير مار يوسف في بلدة بحرصاف، سنة ١٨٥١. خلال الحرب العالميّة الأول إحتلّ الجيش العثمانيّ الدّير. فتوسل الأب المدبّر يوسف الحاج بطرس ونسيبه الأب انطون إلى القائد رضا باشا كي لا تُدنّس الكنيسة، فشطب القائد صورة مار يوسف بسيفه وأمر ذلك الطاغية، فنفيا إلى الأناضول. ومات هناك الأب يوسف من جرّاء معاملات قاسية ونجا رفيقه بأعجوبة. أُعيدت الحياة إلى الدّير بعد رحيل العثمانيّين سنة ١٩١٨، فرُمّم وأُعيد تكريس الكنيسة. رُمّم الدّير مجدّدًا مع بداية القرن الحاليّ، وهو مستمرّ برسالته الروحيّة والرهبانيّة.

The monastery of St Joseph - Bhorsaf

The monastery was built in the town of Bahersaf by the Maronite Antonine monks in 1851. During World War I, the Ottoman army occupied the monastery. Fr. superior Youssef El Hajj Boutros, and his cousin, Father Anton, pleaded with the commander, Reza Pasha, to prevent the desecration of the church. Due to their plea, the tyrant ordered their immediate exile to Anatolia. Father Youssef died there due to harsh treatment, but his companion miraculously survived. The monastery was revived after the departure of the Ottomans in 1918, and the church was repaired and rededicated. The monastery was renovated again at the beginning of this century and continues with its spiritual and monastic mission.
