كنيسة السيّدة الجديدة - صربا الجنوب

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٤٦ وكرّسها المطران أغوسطينوس البستاني. بناؤها بازيليكيّ الطراز بثلاث أسواقٍ وحنية نصف دائريّة. رُمّمت الكنيسة بعد زلزال سنة ١٩٥٦، وأُضيفت إليها قبّة الجرس. تضمّ الكنيسة أيقونةً أورشليميّة عجائبيّة للسيّدة العذراء وهي التي حمت الأهالي خلال الحرب العالميّة الأولى.

The new Church of Our Lady - Sarba, South Lebanon.

The church was constructed in 1946 and consecrated by Archbishop Augustine el-Boustany. This basilical church features three naves and a semi-circular apse. Following the earthquake of 1956, the structure underwent restoration, and a bell tower was subsequently added to the church. Notably, the church houses an icon of the Theotokos from the school of Jerusalem, which is believed to possess miraculous properties. According to the local community, this icon protected the village during World War I, serving as a source of divine intervention and safeguarding.

يعود بنا هذه الكنيسة إلى القرون الوسطى وتتألف من كنيستين:
الكنيسة القديمة ‏جدرانها مكسوة بالجداريات. هي من النوادر في العمارة الكنيسة لأن فيها حنيتان يتوسطهم رسم المصلوب. مواضيع الجداريات: الشفاعة، العذراء على العرش محاطة بمار بطرس وبولس، ذبيحة النبي ابراهيم، آثار لجدرانيات أخرى باتت مندثرة.
اما الكنيسة الثانية فهي أحدث عهداً ملاصقة للأولى، مبنية على النمط البازيليكي بثلاث اسواق، وامامها رواق بالحجر المعقود.
بقيت الكنيسة مستخدمة الى القرن التاسع عشر حين نزح آخر موارنة البلدة. ومنذ عام ٢٠١٢ انطلق مشروع ترميم الكنيسة.


This church is built in the medieval ages, and is composed of two parts:
The old church has walls filled with frescoes. It is one of the very rare churches in which you can see the crucified drawn between two naves.
The drawings are as follows:
The Deisis, Mary the throne of wisdom, surrounded by Saints Peter and Paul, Abraham's sacrifice, in addition to different frescoes that are damaged and can hardly be seen now.
The second church is just next to the first, but built in a later era, in a basilical form with three aisles.
The church was still in use by the maronite community until the 19th century.
Since 2012 a project to renew the church was launched.

أنطوش سيّدة النجاة - المينا

بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى للموارنة في مدينة الميناء أوائل القرن التاسع عشر، وكانت قبوًا مُعتمًا تحت الأرض. كانت الرعيّة آنذاك فقيرة جدًّا وعُهدت خدمتها للرهبان الأنطونيّين، فكان طعام خادم الرعيّة يصله من دير مار سركيس وباخوس إهدن. سنة ١٨٥٠ بُني الأنطوش، وسنة ١٨٨٩ كرّس المطران أسطفان عوّاد الكنيسة الحاليّة، فكان بناؤها بشكل عقدٍ مُصالب بحجرٍ رمليّ. رُمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين.

The presbytery of Our Lady of Deliverance - El Mina

The first maronite church was built in the Mina in the beginning of the XIXth century. It was then a small underground cellar. The parish was really poor, it was entrusted to an Antonine monk who’s food was brought from the monastery of Sts Sergius and Bacchus Ehden. In 1850 the presbytery was built, and in 1889 the current church was consecrated by Mgr. Estefan Awad Archbishop of Tripoli. The structure is a sandstone crossed vault, restored in the latter half of the XXth century.
