كنيسة السيّدة القديمة - صربا النبطيّةكان البناء أساسًا جزءً تابعًا للقلعة العثمانيّة القريبة منه، إشتراه أهل البلدة وحوّلوه إلى كنيسةٍ كرّسها المطران بولس بصبوص سنة ١٩١١. البناء كناية عن سوقٍ واحد مسقوفٍ بالقرميد. رُمّمت سنة ٢٠٠٥. تحوي الكنيسة لوحةً للعذراء محليّة الصنع تعرّضت للضرب بالرصاص خلال الحرب العالميّة الأولى.The old church of Our Lady - Sarba el NabatiehThe building was originally a part of the nearby Ottoman castle, the villagers bought it and converted it into a church that was consecrated by Bishop Boulos Basbous in 1911. The church consists of a single nave with a brick roof, it was renovated in 2005. In the church is displayed a local painting of the Madonna that holds marks of Ottoman bullets from World War I.

بُنيت سنة ١٩٤٧ بهمّة طالب خيرالله شاهين. البناء كناية عن مستطيل مسقوف على النمط البازيليكيّ بسوقٍ واحد. تقوم الكنيسة على أنقاض دير بيزنطيّ وقد رُمّمت مرارًا.

The church was built in 1947 with the aid of Taleb Khairalla Chahin. The structure is based on a single nave basilical plan. The church was built over the ruins of a Byzantine monastery and was restored many times.

كنيسة سيّدة شحلو - القبيّات

كلمة شَحْلُو من السريانيّة تُشير إلى مجرى المياه. هذه المنطقة قديمًا شكلت المدخل الشماليّ للقبيّات، بنى فيها الأهالي معبدًا وثنيًّا ما لبث أن حوّلوه كنيسةً. دمّر المماليك في حملتهم الكنيسة ليبنوا برجًا للمراقبة. هذا البرج دمّره العثمانيّون بعد معركة مرج دابق سنة ١٥١٦. أواسط القرن العشرين أُعيد بناء الكنيسة بشكلها الحاليّ، مع برج ساعةٍ رُفع عليه تمثال للعذراء في تسعينيّات القرن الماضي. تُعتبر هذه الكنيسة مزارًا ومحجًّا للأهالي.

The church of our Lady of Shahlo - Kobbayat

The word Shahlo is from a syriac root referring to a water source. In ancient times the locals built a pagan temple on the site that was converted into the first church. This church was destroyed by the Mamluks who built a tower on the site that was destroyed by the ottomans after the battle of Marj Dabeq in 1516. In the mid XXth century a church was rebuilt in it’s current form, with a bell tower added in the ninties. The church is considered a votive shrine for the villagers.

بنى الموارنة كنيستهم الأولى في معراب على أنقاض هيكل رومانيّ وثنيّ. خُرّبت هذه الكنيسة الأولى مع حملة المماليك على كسروان سنة ١٣٠٥. أعاد أبناء البلدة بناء الكنيسة على إسم ما باسيليوس وغريغوريوس، وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٨٨٥. في هذه الكنيسة يرقد على رجاء القيامة المطران بولس فؤاد نعيم تابت (١٩٢٩-٢٠٠٩) وهو أوّل سفير بابويّ مارونيّ لبنانيّ.


The first church was built by the Maronites over a roman pagan temple. The church was destroyed during the Mamluk’s campaign on Keserwan in 1305. After their return, the villagers reconstructed the church and it was consecrated to Sts Basil and Gregory. It took its final shape in 1885. The church is the final resting place of Bishop Paul Fouad Naim Tabet (1929-2009), the first Lebanese Maronite Papal nuncio
