دير مار شليطا - القبيات يقع الدّير في منطقة وادي حلسبان، في الأصل كان البناء معبدًا رومانيًّا للإله بان إله الرعيان والمواشي. حوّله الأهالي إلى كنيسةٍ بيزنطيّة على اسم القدّيس شليطا (أرتاميوس) شفيع الحيوانات والمواشي، إشارةً إلى تحوّلهم من الوثنيّة. بقي الدّير مُهملاً فترةً طويلةً، فآل إلى الخراب. خلال تسعينيّات القرن العشرين رُمّم الدّير، لكنّ الترميم أزال قسمًا كبيرًا من معالمه. أصبح الدّير اليوم مقصدًا للسيّاح ومحجًّا. The monastery of Chalita - Kobayyat The monastery is located in the valley of Helesban. The building was a roman temple dedicated to Pan the god of shepherds. The temple was converted into a church during the byzantine era and was dedicated to St Chalita (Arthemius) the patron saint of animals and heards. After the middle ages, the monastery fell into ruins for along time. The structure was restored in the last decade of the XXth century, yet the restoration destroyed many of the original elements. The monastery became a pilgrimage site.

كنيسة السيّدة القديمة - صربا النبطيّة

كان البناء أساسًا جزءً تابعًا للقلعة العثمانيّة القريبة منه، إشتراه أهل البلدة وحوّلوه إلى كنيسةٍ كرّسها المطران بولس بصبوص سنة ١٩١١. البناء كناية عن سوقٍ واحد مسقوفٍ بالقرميد. رُمّمت سنة ٢٠٠٥. تحوي الكنيسة لوحةً للعذراء محليّة الصنع تعرّضت للضرب بالرصاص خلال الحرب العالميّة الأولى.

The old church of Our Lady - Sarba el Nabatieh

The building was originally a part of the nearby Ottoman castle, the villagers bought it and converted it into a church that was consecrated by Bishop Boulos Basbous in 1911. The church consists of a single nave with a brick roof, it was renovated in 2005. In the church is displayed a local painting of the Madonna that holds marks of Ottoman bullets from World War I.

كنيسة سيّدة الغابة - بيت شباب

بنُيت الكنيسة الأولى في القرن السابع عشر، واعتنى بإعادة بنائها آل الحايك مرّتين سنة ١٧٧٢ و١٧٧٣. خُرّبت أثناء حملة إبراهيم باشا فأعاد ترميمها الأمير حيدر أبي اللمع سنة ١٨٤٠. أخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٠٠ ورُمّمت سنة ١٩٩٠. في الكنيسة عدّة لوحات أهمّها اللوحة القديمة التي تعود للقرن السادس عشر، كان قد رسم فوقها كنعان ديب لوحة أخرى لم تعد موجودة سنة ١٨٣٩ وقد جرّحها فارسٌ درزيّ في أحداث ١٨٦٠، وقد نُقلت عنها لوحة لحبيب سرور تعود لسنة ١٩١٩.
The church of Our Lady of the Forest - Beit Chabeb

The church was first built in the XVIIth century, then rebuilt by the Hayek family in 1726 and 1773. It was damaged during the campaign of Mehmet Ali Pasha and restored by Prince Haidar Abi Ll Lamah in 1840. It took its final shape in year 1900, and then restored 90 years later. The church holds many paintings the most important ones being the old XVIth century icon of the Madona, that was covered by another painting by Kanaan Dib drawn in year 1839 that is no longer present. This painting was attacked by a Druze knight in the war of 1860. Habib Srour drew a copy of it in 1919.

كنيسة مار مارون - حارة صخر
سنة ١٨٨١ إشترى الخواجة بطرس نصر قطعة أرضٍ في محلّة الدِقرِين وأنهى بناء الكنيسة الصغيرة سنة ١٨٩٨، لتكرَّس الكنيسة على إسم مار مارون، وهي الوحيدة في منطقة جونيه التي تحمل شفاعته. أوقف لوحة مار مارون المكاري بطرس حاويلا على إثر معجزة شفاء إبنه، وهي من عمل داوود القرم سنة ١٩٠٩. وُسّعت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠١١، وهي منذ تأسيسها رعيّة ناشطة بحركاتها الرسوليّة وأخويّاتها.

The church of St Maroun - Haret Sakhr
In 1881 Boutros Nasr bought a parcel of land to build a small parish church that was completed in 1898 and dedicated to St Maroun. It is the only one that bares His name in the region of Jounieh. In 1909 after the miraculous healing of his son, the painting of St Maroun, done by Dawoud el Qorm, was donated to the church by Boutros Hawila. The church was expanded in 2011. Since its beginning up until now, the parish is vibrant with its apostolic groups and confraternities.
