كنيسة مار الياس القديمة - المجيدلبْنيت سنة ١٨٠٤، وجُدّدت سنة ١٨٩٩ وسنة ١٩٩٩. البناء كناية عن عقدِ مْصالبِ ينتهي بحنية. تضمّ الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات: مار الياس ومار جرجس والعائلة المقدّسة من عمل خليل عقل تعود لأوائل القرن العشرين.The old church of St Elijah - El MjeidelThe church was built in 1804, and renewed in 1899 and 1999. بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨١٢ وكرّسها المطران الياس محاسب سنة ١٨٤١. بُنيت القبّة بسعي المغتربين سنة ١٩١٠. لوحة العذراء التي تعلو المذبح منقولة عن مادونا سيستينا لرافايل. في الكنيسة العديد من الأيقونات والسقف مكسو بالجداريات من عمل أ. روكز سنة ٢٠١٢.

The church was built in 1812, and consecrated by Bishop Elias Mhaseb in 1841. The Campanile was built in 1910 with the donations of the village’s diaspora. The painting of the Madona over the high altar is a copy of the Madona Sistina of Raphael. The church is rich in icons, and the vault is covered in frescoes painted by I. Roukos in 2012.

دير مار بطرس وبولس - عشقوت

بنى البطريرك بولس مسعد الدّير في النصف الثاني من القرن التاسع عشر، وجعله مركزًا بطريركيًّا له إبّان حبريته. استقدم للكنيسة تمثالين رخاميّين والأواني من روما، مع مجموعة من اللوحات الصغيرة. أمّا اللوحة الكبيرة فوق المذبح وسط الكنيسة، فهي من عمل داود القرم. بعد وفاته، دُفن البطريرك في الكنيسة، وأوقف الدّير لعائلة مسعد. تحوّل في فترةٍ من الزمن إلى مدرسة، والآن يخوض عمليّة ترميم لإبراز قيمته التاريخيّة.

The monastery of Sts Peter and Paul - Ashkout

The monastery was built in the second part of the XIXth century by patriarch Boulos Massaad, and he resided in it during his pontificate. The patriarch acquired for the church two roman marble statues of Sts Peter and Paul, and many paintings. The great painting over the high altar is by Dawoud El Qorm. After the death of the patriarch the monastery became in the possession of the Masaad family, it was converted into a school for a while and now it is undergoing a restoration plan to bring out the historical value of the place.

دير سيّدة هابيل البطريركيّ - هابيل

البناء يعود لأواخر الحقبة البيزنطيّة، إنتقل إليه البطريرك يوحنا اللحفدي في القرن الثاني عشر وبقي مقرًّا بطريركيًّا الى عهد البطريرك إرميا العمشيتي. البناء كناية عن بقايا ديرٍ مع أقبية وأروقة، لم يسلم منه سوى الكنيسة وهي عقدٍ سريريّ بخوروسين، رُمّمت سنة ٢٠١٢.

The patriarchal monastery of our Lady of Habil - Habil

The church was first built during the Byzantine era. During the XIIth century patriarch Youhanna el Lehfedy made it his patriarchal seat, and it remained that way until the reign of patriarch Jeremiah of Amshyt. What remains of the patriarchal seat are the ruins of old crypts, the church still stands: it is a cribed vault with two choirs and two semi circular apses. The church was restored in 2012.
