كنيسة مار الياس القديمة - المجيدلبْنيت سنة ١٨٠٤، وجُدّدت سنة ١٨٩٩ وسنة ١٩٩٩. البناء كناية عن عقدِ مْصالبِ ينتهي بحنية. تضمّ الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات: مار الياس ومار جرجس والعائلة المقدّسة من عمل خليل عقل تعود لأوائل القرن العشرين.The old church of St Elijah - El MjeidelThe church was built in 1804, and renewed in 1899 and 1999. يعود الدّير للقرن السابع عشر. هو وَقف من الشيخ بو عقل هارون وأولاده. كان بتصرُّف الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيَّة سنة ١٧١٩، وفي سنة ١٧٤٠، تسلَّمه الرهبان الأنطونيُّون، فتسلَّم الدير المطران يواصاف البسكنتاوي، وباشر تجديد بنائه سنة ١٧٥٢، وخصَّصه لسكنى الراهبات العابدات، لكنَّه عاد فسلَّمه إلى الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيَّة، وتسلَّم المطران بدلًا منه دير مار ساسين بسكنتا، ونقل إليه الراهبات. أمَّا البناء وتجديده فقد شَهد عدَّة مراحل. الكنيسة الحاليّة بُنيت سنة ١٨٥٥. تَجدر الإشارة على أنَّ دير بنابيل قد تعرَّض لنكباتٍ عديدةٍ على غرار باقي الأديار، فقد نهبته العساكر المصريَّة سنة ١٨٤٠. كذلك لم يسلم من الأذى أثناء أحداث ١٨٦٠. لكنَّ الرهبانيَّة كانت تهبُّ كلَّ مرَّة إلى ترميمه. وقد جدَّدت في بناء الدير، وأحدثت فيه إصلاحات عدَّة سنة ١٩٠١. أمَّا بناؤه الحاليّ فيعود إلى سنة ١٩٤٧.
The Monastery of St. Michael - Bnabil
The monastery dates back to the 17th century. It was originally donated by Sheikh Bou Akl Haroun and his sons. In 1719, the monastery was given to the Beledite order. However, in 1740, it was transferred to the Antonine Fathers. Later on, in 1752, Bishop Youwassaf el Beskentawi took over and converted the monastery into a nunnery. Subsequently, the bishop returned it to the Beledites and acquired the Monastery of St. Sassine in Baskinta for his nuns. Over the years, the monastery underwent several restorations. The construction of the church took place in 1855. Unfortunately, the building suffered damage during the presence of the Egyptian army in 1840 and the war of 1860. It was eventually restored in 1901 and assumed its final form in 1943.

هي كنيسة صغيرة مسقوفة بُنيت أواخر القرن التاسع عشر، زُخرف بابها وأُضيفت لها القبّة في خمسينيّات القرن العشرين، رُمّمت وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ٢٠١٦.
The church of St Elijah - Aaqoura
The church is a small roofed structure built in the late XIXth century. During the mid XXth century the main door was decorated with arabesques and a bell tower was added to the structure. It was restored and took its current form in 2016.
بحسب البطريرك الدويهيّ بني الدّير سنة ١٣٣٩. كان دير مرت مورا أوّل كرسي لمطرانيّة إهدن، قبل انتقالها إلى دير مار سركيس رأس النهر. سنة ١٦٩٥ أعطى البطريرك الدويهيّ الدّير لمؤسسي الرهبانيّة الحلبيّة اللبنانيّة ليختبروا قانونهم الجديد وحياتهم المشتركة، فانضمّ إليهم آخر ناسك عاش فيه وهو أنطونيوس الإهدني. سنة ١٦٩٨ انشقّ بعض الرهبان عن القرعلي وأسسوا رهبانيّة جديدة مع جبرايل حوّا في مارت مورا لم تدم طويلًا. يتألّف الدير من كنيسة ذات عقد سريريّ، وغرفة كبيرة ملاصقة. رُمّم الدّير سنة ١٩٨٣.
The monastery of St Moura - Ehden
According to Patriarch Doueihy the monastery was built in 1339, and was the first seat for the bishops of Ehden before they moved tho St Serge’s monastery. In 1695 Patriarch Doueihy gave the monastery to the newly founded Alepan Lebanese Order, so the founding fathers could experience their new monastic rule and communal life. The last hermit of the monastery Antonios el Ehdeny joined the order. In 1698 the first split in the order happened and some monks decided to start a new order with Gebrayel Hawa in Mart Moura. This second order didn’t persist. The monastery consists of a crib vaulted church with an adjacent room, and was restored in 1983.
