كنيسة مار الياس القديمة - المجيدلبْنيت سنة ١٨٠٤، وجُدّدت سنة ١٨٩٩ وسنة ١٩٩٩. البناء كناية عن عقدِ مْصالبِ ينتهي بحنية. تضمّ الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات: مار الياس ومار جرجس والعائلة المقدّسة من عمل خليل عقل تعود لأوائل القرن العشرين.The old church of St Elijah - El MjeidelThe church was built in 1804, and renewed in 1899 and 1999. يعود بناء الكنيسة إلى سنة ١٦٥٨، فمع توافد الموارنة إلى البلدة شرعوا ببناء كنيسة. ساعدهم على بنائها الآباء الكبوشيّون الذين بدؤا رسالتهم في دير مار بطرس في البلدة وجلبوا لإعانة موارنة البلدة معونة ماديّة من الكاردينال ريوشوليو وزير الملك لويس الثالث عشر. سنة ١٦٨٤ كرّس المذبح البطريرك أسطفان الدويهيّ. البناء كناية عن عقدِ مُصالب، يتميّز ببابٍ فخمٍ قدّمه أمراء آل أبي اللمع. تعرضت الكنيسة للتخريب إبّان الحرب الأهليّة اللبنانيّة. ورمّمت في تسعينيّات القرن العشرين

St. John the Baptist Ancient Church - Salima

The construction of the church dates back to the year 1658 when the Maronites began to settle in the town and started building a church. The Capuchin fathers, who began their mission at the Monastery of St. Peter in the town, assisted them in its construction. They brought financial assistance from Cardinal Richelieu, the Minister of King Louis XIII, to support the Maronites of the town. In 1684, Patriarch Estephan Douaihy consecrated the altar. The building is in the shape of a crucifix and is distinguished by a magnificent door donated by the Al Abi Al Lamaa family. The church suffered damage during the Lebanese Civil War and was restored in the 1990s.

كنيسة مار الياس - غوسطا

سنة ١٦٨٠ بدأ الشيخ ابو قنصوه الخازن بناء دار في غوسطا تلاصقها كنيسة على اسم مار الياس وكُرّست سنة ١٦٨٩. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب ينتهي بحنية نصف دائرية. رُسم فيها المطران يوسف راجي الخازن (البطريرك لاحقًا) مطرانًا على غوسطا سنة ١٧٢٨ على يد البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد، ودُفن فيها في ١٣ أيّار ١٧٤٢. رُمّمت الكنيسة مؤخرًا.

The Church of St. Elijah - Ghosta

It was constructed in 1680 by Sheikh Abou Qanso el Khazen, adjacent to his house. It was consecrated and dedicated to the prophet Elijah in 1689. The structure comprises a crossed vault with a semi-circular apse. Within this church, Bishop Youssef Raji el Khazen (later patriarch) was ordained as the bishop of Ghosta by Patriarch Yaaqoub Awad in 1728. He was subsequently buried in the same church on May 13, 1742. The church has recently undergone restoration.

كنيسة مار يعقوب المقطّع - دلبتا

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٦٤، وهي عقد مصالب بحنية واحدة وثلاث مذابح. هي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة. رممّت للمرّة الأولى ما يين سنة ١٨٩٣ و١٨٩٤ وأقيم فيها المذبح الكبير. أمّا الترميم الثاني يعود لسنة ١٩٧٥. تحوي الكنيسة على مدفن المطران يوحنّا مراد رئيس أساقفة بعلبك (+١٩٣٧). كذلك على مجموعة كبيرة من اللوحات لكنعان ديب إبن البلدة تعود لأواخر القرن التاسع عشر.

The church of St Jacob the Persian - Dlebta

Built in 1764, it is the town’s parochial church. The structure is a crossed vault ending in a single apse with three altars. The church was restored between 1893 and 1894 when the current high altar was brought, and in 1975. In the church is buried Mgr. Youhanna Mrad (+1937) archbishop of Baalbek. The church holds a great number of paintings by Kanaan Dib the son of Dlebta, dating back to the late XIXth century.
