دير مار شليطا - القطّارة ميفوقتَقَرَّر في مجمع الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة العام المنعقد في ١٦ تشرين الثاني ١٨٤٧، في عهد الأب العام عمَّانوئيل الأشقر، وبرضى البطريرك يوسف راجي الخازن، فَصل بعض أرزاق من دير سيِّدة ميفوق لإنشاء دير في محلَّة القطَّارة شرقيِّ ميفوق، على اسم القدِّيس شلِّيطا. سنة ١٨٥٠، بدء بناء الدّير وكان إتمام بناء الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦١، فَكَرَّسها البطريرك بولس مسعد. عُيِّن هذا الدير، سنة ١٨٧٠، مدرسةّ لتعليم اللغات الأجنبيّة، وكان يضمُّ أيضًا عددًا من المبتدئين. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أنَّ هذا الدير لا يزال حتَّى أيَّامنا يقوم بزراعة أشجار التوت واستخدامها في إنتاج مواسم الحرير. كما يضمّ الدّير محبسة.The Monastery of St Challita - El Qattara Mayfouk.On the 16th of October 1848 the monastic chapter of the Lebanese Maronite Order decided to separate some lands from the monastery of our Lady of Mayfouk to found a monastery dedicated to St Challita, during the mandate of Abbot Emmanuel El Achkar. In 1850, works on the monastery began and were concluded in 1861 when Patriarch Boulos Massad consecrated the church. The monastery was made a school for foreign languages and a novitiate. The monastery still has a great traditional silk production - a rare preservance in Lebanon. The monastery holds also a hermitage.

كنيسة سيّدة الدرّ - بشرّي
سيدة الدرّ أو الوريسة كان معبدًا فينيقيًّا تحوّل الى كنيسة في القرن الحادي عشر. بحسب الأب بطرس ضو "تحوّل هذا المعبد الى كنيسة، وكان يوجد فيه رسوم جدرانيّة من القرن الثاني عشر وتحتوي على أسماء القدّيسين باليونانيّة، مما يدلّ على أن الموارنة في وادي قاديشا كانوا حتى القرن الثالث عشر على اتصال بالحضارة البيزنطيّة". الكنيسة عبارة عن مغارة محفورة في الصخر ذات خوروسين، لعلّ جداريتها الأجمل هي الظهور الإلهيّ.

The church of Our Lady of the Milk - Bcharre

The church of Our Lady of the Milk or El Waryse is a Phoenician temple converted in the XIth century. According to the historian Fr. Boutros Daw: ”The shrine was converted into a fresco covered church in the XIIth century with the saints name written in greek, indicating that the Maronites in that era kept contact with the Byzantines”. The church consists of a man made cave with a double apse. The best kept fresco is that of the Epiphany over the altar.

كنيسة مار يوسف - القبع جزّين

بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٠٠ بسعي عائلة غانم الذين جعلوا مدافنهم بقربها. جدّدت في ١٩ آذار سنة ١٩٦٣. الكنيسة صغيرة، تتبع رعيّة بلدة قيتولة جزّين، تضم لوحةً غربيّة الصنع لمار يوسف، وتتميّز بالنقوش والزخرفة على الجصّ.

The church of St Joseph - Eh Qobeh Jezzine

The church was built in 1900 by the Ghanem family who built their cemetery near it. It was renewed on the 19th of march 1963. The church is small, a dependency of the nearby Qaytouli’s parish. It possesses a classical painting of St Joseph. The church also contains intricate Gipson carvings.

كنيسة تجلّي الربّ - غابة الأرز
بدأ البناء سنة ١٨٤٤ مع الخوري يوحنا شبيعا، بموجب مرسوم بطريركيّ في عهد البطريرك يوسف حبيش. أُكمل البناء على مراحل سنتي ١٩٣٦ و١٩٨٣، وُرمّمت سنة ١٩٩٠. المذبح مصنوع من خشب الأرز المحفور من عمل الحرفيّ سليم أبي قبلان جعجع. أيقونة التجليّ تنتمي للمدرسة المقدسيّة.

The church of the Transfiguration of the Lord - The Cedar forest

The church was first built in 1844 by Fr Youhanna Shebaiaa, with a decree from Patriarch Youssef Hobeich. The construction was reworked in 1936 and 1983. The church was restored in 1990. The high altar is made of cedar wood by the craftsman Selim Abi Qabalaan Geagea. The icon of the Transfiguration is an issue from the school of Jerusalem.
