كنيسة مار الياس - بجرّينهي البناء الوحيد الباقي من قرية بجرّين التي هُجرت على إثر الحرب العالميّة الأولى. تعود للعهد الصليبيّ، وهي محافِظة على طابعها القديم فلا توجد فيها قبّة جرس. بناؤها بسيط، وتظهر على جدرانها بقايا جداريّات مخفيّة تحت طبقة الكلس.The church of St Elias - BjerrinIt is the only standing building in tbe village of Bjerrin that was abandoned after the World War I. The church dates back to the times of the Crusades, and still preserves a modest architecture without a bell tower. On the walls are visible the remains of medieval frescoes under a layer of stuco.

بُني الدّير أوساط القرن الثاني عشر ليسكن فيه أسقف معاون للبطريرك يوحنّا اللحفديّ. أوائل القرن الخامس عشر سكنه المطران يعقوب. خرب هذا الدير ولم يبقَ منه سوى الكنيسة التي تجدّد بناؤها أوساط القرن التاسع عشر. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب بحنية مكوّرة. تحوي الكنيسة على العديد من الحجارة المنقوشة والمُشفّرة من بنائها القديم. في هذه الكنيسة تعمّد الأخ اسطفان نعمة اللحفدي.

The Monastery of Our Lady of Marj (Deir al Qalaya) - Lehfed

The monastery was built in the mid XIIth century for an assistant bishop to Patriarch Youhanna al Lehfidi to live in. In the early XVth century, it was inhabited by Bishop Yaacoub. The monastery was abandoned and only the church remained, which was rebuilt in the mid XIXth century. The church's structure consists of a crossed vault with a hemispherical apse. The church contains many carved and encrypted stones from its old construction. Brother Estephan Nehme was baptized in this church.

كنيسة سيّدة المعونات - المعلّقة زحلة

الكنيسة قديمة العهد، تاريخ بنائها مجهولٌ. تعرّضت للتخريب في أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. رمّمت من بعدها. بعد الحرب العالميّة الأولى أخذت الكنيسة شكلها الحاليّ: نمط بازيليكيّ بعقدٍ مصالب وسوقٍ واحد بواجهة حجرٍ مقصوبٍ مزخرف. نضمّ الكنيسة ثلاث مذابح من المرمر تعود لسنة ١٩٣٠: السيّدة، مار يوسف ومار يوحنّا مارون. رمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠٠٨. تضمّ الكنيسة مدفن موسى بك نموّر رئيس مجلس النوّاب الأسيق.

The church of our Lady of Perpetual Help - Maalaka Zahle

The church”s year of construction is unknown, it was sabotaged during the war of 1860. The church took it’s current form after World War I : a basilical plan with one nave and a grand ornate facade on the western side. The church holds three marble altars dedicated to the Assumption, St Joseph, St John Maroun. The church was restored in 2008, and it enshrines the tomb of the late lebanese speaker of the parliament Moussa Bey Nammour.

محبسة مار شلّيطا - وادي المذابح حدشيت

وادي المذابح هو من روافد الوادي المقدَس، وفيه محبسة مار أرتاميوس (شليطا) وتعود للقرن الحادي عشر. مؤلّفة من عقد سريريّ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة، البناء أصبح اليوم أثرًا. في الموقع بقايا عظام بشريّة.

The Hermitage of St Chalita - The valley of Mazabeh Hadsheet

The valley of Mazabeh is a part of the Holy Valley descending from Hadsheet. In the valley stands the hermitage of St Artemius (Chalita in syriac) dating back to the XIth century. The building is in ruins consisting of a cribbed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The church contains remains of human bones.
