دير كرمل والدة الإله والوحدة - حريصاسنة ١٩٦١ أَذَن رئيس المجمع الشرقيّ الكاردينال تيسيران أن تنتقل ثلاث راهبات إسبانيّات كرمليّات من طقسهنّ اللاتينيّ الى الطقس البيزنطيّ بغية تأسيس دير كرمليّ مشرقيّ هدفه الصلاة لأجل وحدة الكنيسة. وقد شاءت العناية الإلهيّة أن تكون الراهبات من الأديار التي أسّستها تريزيا الأفيليّة بداية الإصلاح. إفتُتح الدّير في ٢٤ آب سنة ١٩٦٢. زاره البابوان يوحنّا بولس الثاني وبندكتوس السادس عشر إبّان زيارتيهما الرسوليّة الى لبنان. كنيسة الدّير بيزنطيّة الطابع مع فبّة، تتميّز كونها مغطاة بالجداريّات، وإيقونوستاز خشبيّ، وشعريّة الحصن للراهبات.The Monastery of the Theotokos and the unity - HarissaIn 1961 his eminence Cardinal Tisserant agreed that three nuns join the Byzantine rite to create an oriental Carmelite nunnery with the aim of prayer to the unity of the church. The divine wisdom made the three nuns come from the original monasteries founded by St Theresa of Avila. The monastery was inaugurated on the 24 of august 1962. Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI visited the monastery upon their visit to Lebanon. The monastery’s church is of Byzantine style with a dome and a wooden iconostatis, it is fully covered with frescoes and has a distinctive seperator to demark the cloister of the nuns.

محبسة مار بطرس وبولس - عنّايا

بُنيت المحبسة سنة ١٧٩٨، على يد الراهبان يوسف أبي رميا وداود بن موسى عيسى خليفة من إهمج، اللذان بنيا معبدًا صغيرًا، على أنقاض معبد قديم، وأطلقوا عليه إسم دير التجلّي، وستّة قلالي للسكن. عام ١٨١٤، إنضمّ هذان الراهبان إلى الرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة، فتسلّمت الرهبانيّة المحبسة على عهد الرئيس العام اغناطيوس بليبل، وتحوّلت كنيستها بأمر البطريرك يوحنا الحلو إلى إسم القديسين بطرس وبولس. من أشهر حبسائها: الأب أليشاع كسّاب الحرديني شقيق القديس نعمةالله، والأب الأب شربل مخلوف أي القديس شربل. تحوّلت المحبسة إلى مزار، يزوره المؤمنون للصلاة وطلب شفاعة القدّيس شربل.

The Hermitage of Sts Peter and Paul - Annaya

The hermitage was built in 1798 by two monks from Ehmej: Youssef Abi Ramia and Dawood Bin Moussa Issa. It consisted of six cells and a chapel dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Lord. In 1814 both monks joined the Lebanese Maronite Order. The hermitage was transferred to the Order during the days of Abbot Ignatius Bleibel and by order of Patriarch Youhanna el Helou was rededicated to Sts Peter and Paul. The most famous hermits who resided in the hermitage are Fr Elishaa Kassab, the brother of St Nematullah and St Charbel Makhlouf. Today the hermitage is a shrine and a pilgrimage site to those asking for St Charbel’s intercession.

دير سيّدة ميفوق - ميفوق

هو من الأديار القديمة في الكنيسة المارونيَّة،
بناه المرَدَةَ سنة ٨٥٠. إستولى عليه الحماديُّون حوالي سنة ١١٢١، مدَّةً من الزمن، فانتقل رهبانُه في أثنائها إلى دير سيِّدة إيليج. تَسَلَّمت الرهبانيَّةُ اللبنانيّة المارونيّة ديرَ ميفوق سنة ١٧٦٦، من الأمير يوسف الشهابيّ. انعقد في هذا الدير، مجمعًا إقليميًّا للكنيسة المارونيَّة، برئاسة القاصد الرسولي الأب بطرس دي مورينا و المطران ميخائيل الخازن سنة ١٧٨٠. سنة ١٨٥٠، أمضى فيه مار شربل سنة ابتداءٍ واحدة. أنشأت الرهبانيَّة معهدًا في الدير، سنة ١٩٢٢. وَمِن محفوظات دير سيِّدة – ميفوق، صورة سيِّدة إيليج الأثريَّة التي أُعيد ترميمُها بين سنتَي ١٩٨٢ ١٩٨٧. لعب الدّير دورًا على صُعُد التنشئة الرهبانيّة والوطنيّة دورًا بارزًا.

The monastery of Our Lady of Mayfouq - Mayfouq

One of the oldest Maronite monasteries built arround 850 by the Maradites. It was taken over by the Hamadi’s in 1121, and back then the monks moved to Ilige. The monastery was given to the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1766 by Prince Youssef Shehab. In 1780 a local Maronite council was held in the monastery presided by the papal delegate Fr Peter di Morina and bishop Mikael el Khazen. In 1850 St Charbel spent a year of his novitiate there. A school was founded by the order in 1922. The monastery holds the famous icon of our Lady of Ilige restored between 1982 and 1987. The monastery played a great national role and it was a major school of formation for the monks.

كنيسة سيّدة الإنتقال القديمة - بقاع كفرا

الكنيسة القديمة يعود تأسيسها إلى نحو سبعمئة عام، تتميّز بالصليب المثلث الأطراف الموجود على عتبة بابها الرئيسيّ، وأيقونة السيّدة التي تعود للقرن السادس عشر، وجرن العماد القديم حيث قبل مار شربل سرّه الأوّل. لم يتوقف اهل هذه البلدة يومًا عن صلاة الفرض الإلهيّ حتى خلال فصل الشتاء القارس، اذ بنوا دهليزًا تحت الارض يصل البيوت بالكنيسة، ولكنّ معظمه قد سقط.
سنة ١٩٢٥ دُعِّم العقد القديم ليتحمّل الكنيسة الجديدة فوقه.

The old church of Our Lady of Assumption - Bekaa Kafra

The old church was built in the XIVth century, it holds a medieval three branched cross on her tympanum. The church also holds the baptismal font of St Charbel, a XVIth century icon of the Madona and ruined catacombs that the local used to get to church during harsh winters to pray the office.
In 1925 the new church was built on top of the old one. To accommodate this renewal the old vault was reinforced changing the medieval allure of the old church.
