كنيسة سيّدة البشوشة - بكركيهي كنيسة الموقع الأوّل لدير بكركي قبل بناء الصرح الحاليّ. بناها الشيخ خطّار الخازن سنة ١٧٠٣ مع الدّير، وسكنه الرّهبان الأنطونيّون سنة ١٧٣٠. سلّم البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد الكنيسة والدّير والأملاك الى رهبان مار اشعيا برضى المشايخ الخوازنة ولا سيَّما الشيخ خطار، لكن بعد وفاة الشيخ خطّار، وقع الخلاف بين ولَدَيه، وبين الأنطونيَّين، فطردوا منه، وباعوا الدّير الى المطران جرمانوس صقر لقاء ٣٥٠٠ غرش، وذلك سنة ١٧٥٠، وأكملوا بهذا المبلغ دير مار يوحنا المعمدان - عجلتون. أمّا المطران صقر فجعل الدّير مقرًّا لأخويّة قلب يسوع التي أسّستها الراهبة هنديّة عجيمي، التي بدورها نقلت الدّير الى موقعه الحاليّ. ولم يبقَ من الدّير القديم سوى كنيسة سيّدة البشوشة، نسبةً الى ايقونة العذراء المتبسمة.The chapel of Our Lady of Bchouche - BkerkeThe chapel was the church of the first monastery of Bkerke. It was built by Cheikh Khattar el Khazen in 1703, and the Antonine Maronite Order took the monastery as a residence in 1730. The monastery was eventually given to the order with a decree made by Patriarch Jacob Awad and the Sheikhs of the Khazen family. Nevertheless after the death of Sheikh Khattar there was a dispute between his sons and the Antonines, and the laters were forced to leave and sell the monastery to Bishop Germanos Saker in 1750 for 3500 Ottoman piasters, money that they used to accomplish St John’s monastery in Ajaltoun. Bishop Saker made Bkerke’s monastery a motherhouse for the new congregation of The Sacred Heard founded by Hindyeh Ojeimy. The congregation left the old monastery and built the current one nearby. Of the old monastery only the church persists. It is named Bshoushe meaning the Smiling Virgin.

كنيسة سيّدة البشارة القديمة - درب السيم

بنى الصليبيّون الكنيسة في القرن الثاني عشر بهندسةٍ دفاعيّةٍ، الكنيسة مؤلفة من سوقٍ واحدة بعقدٍ مصالبٍ. مع رحيل الصليبيّين أصبح البناء بيد مشايخ آل الجواد الشيعة الذين حافظوا عليه طوال قرون. مع قدوم الموارنة إلى البلدة في القرن الثامن عشر، أعاد لهم الشيخ منصور الجواد البناء، فأعادوا تكريس الكنيسة وبناء المذبح. خربت الكنيسة في أحداث ١٨٦٠ و١٩٨٥ ورمّمت مرّتين.
لوحة سيّدة البشارة هي من محفوظات الكنيسة الجديدة، من عمل الرسّام أندريه نمّور.

The old church of Our Lady of the Annunciation - Darb el Sim

The church was built by the crusaders in the XIIth century. The structure consists of a single nave with a crossed vault, and many defensive elements. After the crusaders left, the structure was left with a feudal Shia family, the Sheikhs of Al Jawad. With the settlement of the Maronites in the village during the XVIIIth century, Sheikh Mansour Al Jawad gave them back the church. The Maronites reconsecrated it and built a new altar. The church was sabotaged during the wars of 1860 and 1985 and restored twice.

بُنيت الكنيسة أوّلاً سنة ١٤٧٠ ورُمِّمَت سنة ١٧٧٦. هي الوحيدة في الشّرق التي تحمل شفاعة هذا القدّيس. الكنيسة ما زالت تُحافظ على الشَعريّة التي تفصل أماكن جلوس الرجال عن النّساء وهي مِن صُنعٍ مِصريّ تعود للقرن الثامن عشر. مذبح الكنيسة إكتُشف إبّان الترميم الأخير مِن سنة فرمِّمَ وأُعيد لبهائه الأصليّ. لوحة مار أوْتِل تعود لسنة ١٩٠٣. مار أوْتِل هو شفيع كفرصغاب إذ حماها من داء الطاعون، لذلك تُقيم البلدة تذكارًا رسميًّا لهُ في ٣ حزيران وتذكار هذه المعجزة في ٢٧ آب. كذلك مار أوْتِل هو شفيع المسافرين وإليه ينسب حماية بعض أبناء كفرصغاب من الغرق في سفينة التيتانيك سنة ١٩١٢.

The church was first built in 1470 and restored in 1776. It is the only church in the east consecrated to St Awtel. The church still conserves the traditional wooden separator between men’s and women’s sitting place, made in Egypt in the XVIIIth century. The painting of St Awtel dates back to year 1903. The old altar was discovered a year ago during restoration. Kfarsghab celebrates two feasts of the saint on the 3rd of june and the 27th of august when the saint miraculously protected the village from the plague. St Awtel is also the patron of the travelers since he miraculously protected the Kfarsghaby passengers of the Titanic in 1912.

دير سيّدة المعونات رام بو دقن - سهيلة

سنة ١٧٦٧ بنى المطران مخايل بن الشيخ ابا نادر الخازن ديرًا على اسم سيّدة المعونات في محلّة رام بو دقن، ليصبح مقرًّا لإقامته. بعد وفاته تحوّل الدّير إلى وقفيّة ذريّة لمشايخ آل الخازن. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة، سقفها مزيّن بالنقوش على الجصّ. لوحات الكنيسة من عمل الخوري موسى ديب الدلبتاوي.

The monastery of Our Lady of Perpetual help Ram Bou Daqn - Sheile

The monastery was built in 1767 by bishop Michael son of Sheikh Aba Nader el Khazen, in Ram Bou Daqn to become his episcopal residence. After his death the monastery became a private domain for the Khazen family. The church consists of a crossed vault ending in a semi circular apse with a ceiling covered with arabesque. The church holds paintings by Fr Moussa Dib from Dlebta.
