كنيسة سيّدة البشوشة - بكركيهي كنيسة الموقع الأوّل لدير بكركي قبل بناء الصرح الحاليّ. بناها الشيخ خطّار الخازن سنة ١٧٠٣ مع الدّير، وسكنه الرّهبان الأنطونيّون سنة ١٧٣٠. سلّم البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد الكنيسة والدّير والأملاك الى رهبان مار اشعيا برضى المشايخ الخوازنة ولا سيَّما الشيخ خطار، لكن بعد وفاة الشيخ خطّار، وقع الخلاف بين ولَدَيه، وبين الأنطونيَّين، فطردوا منه، وباعوا الدّير الى المطران جرمانوس صقر لقاء ٣٥٠٠ غرش، وذلك سنة ١٧٥٠، وأكملوا بهذا المبلغ دير مار يوحنا المعمدان - عجلتون. أمّا المطران صقر فجعل الدّير مقرًّا لأخويّة قلب يسوع التي أسّستها الراهبة هنديّة عجيمي، التي بدورها نقلت الدّير الى موقعه الحاليّ. ولم يبقَ من الدّير القديم سوى كنيسة سيّدة البشوشة، نسبةً الى ايقونة العذراء المتبسمة.The chapel of Our Lady of Bchouche - BkerkeThe chapel was the church of the first monastery of Bkerke. It was built by Cheikh Khattar el Khazen in 1703, and the Antonine Maronite Order took the monastery as a residence in 1730. The monastery was eventually given to the order with a decree made by Patriarch Jacob Awad and the Sheikhs of the Khazen family. Nevertheless after the death of Sheikh Khattar there was a dispute between his sons and the Antonines, and the laters were forced to leave and sell the monastery to Bishop Germanos Saker in 1750 for 3500 Ottoman piasters, money that they used to accomplish St John’s monastery in Ajaltoun. Bishop Saker made Bkerke’s monastery a motherhouse for the new congregation of The Sacred Heard founded by Hindyeh Ojeimy. The congregation left the old monastery and built the current one nearby. Of the old monastery only the church persists. It is named Bshoushe meaning the Smiling Virgin.

كنيسة صغيرة تعود من حيث الهندسة والشكل إلى العصر البيزنطيّ وتقع بقرب المعبد الرومانيّ. تتألف من عقد سريريّ بحنيةٍ واحدة. يشكّل الجزء الأماميّ من الكنيسة قسم للموعوظين. ومار يعقوب هو قديّس فارسيّ من القرن الرابع، كان فارسًا نبيلاً، ولم يجحد إيمانه فنال إكليل الشهادة.

The church of St Jacob the Persian - Reshdebbin

A small church near the old roman temple. It dates back to the Byzantine era according to its architecture. The church consists of a crib vaulted ceiling ending with a single apse. The frontal part is occupied by a narthex. St Jacob was a Persian third century noble knight who suffered martyrdom so he wouldn’t recant his faith.

Built in 1660, the church played a great role in the history of the village, near it a school was built, and it was the main parish church before that of our Lady was built in the nineteenth century.
The church houses a collection of oil paintings dating back to the construction era: St George, an Immaculata, St Mamas, St Peter.
In the church’s sacristy are found the mortal remains of Fr. Gerges Srour 1688-1735, a holy priest with the title Al Qurbany, (the Eucharistic) because of his great devotion to the blessed sacrament and the great miracles that happened during elevation time in his Mass as attested by witnesses.


يعود البناء الى سنة ١٦٦٠. لعبت هذه الكنيسة دورًا هامًا في تاريخ البلدة اذ كانت الكنيسة الرعائية قبل بناء كنيسة السيذة. بقربها كانت تقوم مدرسة للأحداث. تحوي زيتيات تعود لفترة البناء: مار جرجس، السيدة، مار ماما، مار بطرس.
يرقد على رجاء القيامة في سكرستية الكنيسة رجل الله الخوري جرجس سرور ١٦٨٨-١٧٣٥، والمعروف بكراماته وعجائبه وعبادته للقربان الأقدس إذ كان وجه المسيح يظهر على القربانة عند الرفعة كما شهد معاصروه.

دير مار روحانا البقيعة - عرمون

سنة ١٧٠٣ جاء قرار بناء دير مار روحانا، وكان ديرًا مشتركًا للرهبان والعابدات، في موضع مدرسةٍ قديمة لتعليم الأحداث على اسم السيّدة. وسّعه البطريرك طوبيّا الخازن ليكون مقرًّا له خلال إقامته في كسروان. سنة ١٧٧٥ ترهّب في الدير قيس بن رامح الخازن وهو المطران جرمانوس الخازن رئيس أساقفة دمشق. في ٢٥ أيلول ١٨٢٦ فصل البطريرك يوسف حبيش الرهبان عن الدير. رُمّم الدير على عدّة مراحل آخرها سنة ٢٠١٦ حين كُرّس المذبح الجديد. الدير وقف بعناية آل زوين تحت ولاية البطريركيّة المارونيّة.

The Monastery of St. Rouhana is located in Al Baqi'a - Aramoun.

In 1703, a decision was made to build a joint monastery for monks and nuns on the site of an old school dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Patriarch Tobia El Khazen renovated it to use as his residence during his stay in Keserwan. On September 25, 1826, Patriarch Youssef Hobeish separated the monks from the monastery. The monastery underwent several stages of renovation, with the last one in 2016 when the new altar was consecrated. The monastery is under the jurisdiction of the Maronite Patriarchate and is entrusted to the care of the Zwein family.
