كنيسة مار شينا - حردين أواسط القرن التاسع عشر أصبح أهالي حردين بحاجةٍ لكنيسةٍ رعائيّةٍ كبيرةٍ، فجاء بناء كنيسة مار شينا بعقدٍ مُصالب سنة ١٨٤٤. ومار شينا هو لقبٌ سريانيّ لأبراميوس الأنطاكي الذي كان لصًّا متنكرًا بزيّ راهبٍ أراد سرقة ديرٍ للراهبات فحدثت معجزة شفاءٍ غيّرت حياته من لصِّ إلى ناسك. هذه المعجزة خلدتها لوحة الكنيسة وهي من عمل الحبيس ليشع الحرديني شقيق القديس نعمة الله. رُمّمت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٩٨ بعد إعلان تطويب مار نعمة الله، وهي الكنيسة التي شهدت على طفولته وخدم مذبحها. The Church of St. Chaina - Hardine During the mid-19th century, the villagers of Hardin felt the need for a parish church. The construction of a magnificent cross-vaulted structure was completed in 1844. The church was dedicated to St. Chaina, a 4th-century thief named Abramius of Antioch, who, after attempting to raid a nunnery disguised as a monk, witnessed a miracle that led to his conversion. This miracle is depicted in a painting hanging in the church's apse, which was created by the hermit Fr. Lichaa el Hardini, the brother of St. Nematullah. The church was restored in 1998 following the beatification of Fr. Nematullah, who had been a child and an altar boy in this very church.

كنيسة مار دانيال - حدث الجبّة

بعد تحوّلهم الى المسيحيّة حوّل أهالي الحدث معبدهم إلى كنيسةٍ على اسم مار الياس، ما زالت قائمة في القسم الجنوبيّ. سنة ١١١٠ باشرت بناء كنيسة مار دانيال صالومي إبنة الخوري باسيل من بشرّي. تعرّض البناء للخراب على يد المماليك سنة ١٢٨٣. وأخذ البناء شكله الحاليّ في زمن حبريّة البطريرك شمعون الحدثيّ. رُمّم البناء أواخر القرن العشرين. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة الطراز بعقد مصالب وثلاث حنايا مع رواق خارجيّ معقود. تحوي الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات لداوود القرم تعود للقرن التاسع عشر.

The church of St Daniel - Hadath el Jubba

After the conversion of the people of Hadath el Jubba, they converted an old pagan shrine to a church dedicated to St Elijah the prophet. In 1110 Salome the daughter of the priest Basil of Bsharre began building a new church dedicated to Daniel the prophet. The church was destroyed by the Mamluks in 1283. It then took its final shape during the pontificate of Patriarch Chamoun el Hadathy, and was renovated in the late XXth century. The church consists of a basilical plan with three naves with arched vaults and three apses, with an external ambulatory. It holds three paintings by Dawoud el Qor

دير مار جرجس الأحباش - وادي قنوبين

الدّير عبارة عن كهفٍ طبيعيٍّ يقع في وسط الجُرف الصخريّ ويضمُ كنيسةً ومدفنًا وبعض القلالي. يتمّ الوصول إليه عبر درجٍ من الحجارة المنحوتة. بنى الدّير رهبان مونوفيزيّين جاؤوا من الحبشة في القرن الثاني عشر بقصد التنسك. الكنيسة كناية عن تجويفٍ طبيعيًّ حُفرت حنيتها على شكل عقدٍ مكسورٍ مُليّسة بالكلس، ومزيّنة برسومٍ جداريّة ذات أشكال هندسيّة تنتمي لفنّ الكنيسة الحبشيّة. في الكنيسة كذلك مذبح مربّع الشكل.

The monastery of St George of the Abyssinians - the valley of Qannoubine

The monastery is a natural cave in a cliff consisting of a church, a necropolis and some cells. It is accessible trough a carved stair. The monastery was built by Jacobite monks from Abyssinia during the XIIth century. The church is a natural cave with a carved apse covered by limestone gypson with a geometrical motif fresco from the Ethiopian art tradition, the church also has a squared altar.

كنيسة مارت شموني - وادي حولات حدشيت

يُشَكِّل وادي حولات، جزءًا من وادي قاديشا.
بنيت كنيسة مارت شموني داخل تجويفٍ صخري، أواخر القرن الثاني عشر. تتألف من ثلاثة أسواق، إثنان أساسيّان مبنيان من الحجر والثالث محفور في الصَخر. كانت حتى ثمانينيّات القرن الماضي مَكسّوة بجداريات سريانيّة تعود للقرن الثالث عشر وتتشابه مع نظيراتها في بحديدات. على أبوابها نقوش مسيحانيّة ومريميّة.

The Church of Mart Shemouny- the valley of Houlat Hadshyt

The valley of Houlat is a part of the Qadisha valley. The church of Mart Shemouny was built in a rocky cliff, at the end of the XIIth century. It consists of three aisles: the two main ones are built with stone masonry, and the third is carved into the stone. Up until the 80’s the church was entirely covered by frescoes similar to those in Behdeidat. On the door are still visible Christological and Marial insignia.
