كنيسة مار شينا - حردين أواسط القرن التاسع عشر أصبح أهالي حردين بحاجةٍ لكنيسةٍ رعائيّةٍ كبيرةٍ، فجاء بناء كنيسة مار شينا بعقدٍ مُصالب سنة ١٨٤٤. ومار شينا هو لقبٌ سريانيّ لأبراميوس الأنطاكي الذي كان لصًّا متنكرًا بزيّ راهبٍ أراد سرقة ديرٍ للراهبات فحدثت معجزة شفاءٍ غيّرت حياته من لصِّ إلى ناسك. هذه المعجزة خلدتها لوحة الكنيسة وهي من عمل الحبيس ليشع الحرديني شقيق القديس نعمة الله. رُمّمت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٩٨ بعد إعلان تطويب مار نعمة الله، وهي الكنيسة التي شهدت على طفولته وخدم مذبحها. The Church of St. Chaina - Hardine During the mid-19th century, the villagers of Hardin felt the need for a parish church. The construction of a magnificent cross-vaulted structure was completed in 1844. The church was dedicated to St. Chaina, a 4th-century thief named Abramius of Antioch, who, after attempting to raid a nunnery disguised as a monk, witnessed a miracle that led to his conversion. This miracle is depicted in a painting hanging in the church's apse, which was created by the hermit Fr. Lichaa el Hardini, the brother of St. Nematullah. The church was restored in 1998 following the beatification of Fr. Nematullah, who had been a child and an altar boy in this very church.

كنيسة المخلص - حمّاتا

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٠٥ بموجب اتفاق بين عائلتي أبي يونس وعاد يعود ل٢٨ تشرين الأوّل سنة ١٩٠٢، صادق عليه المطران نعمةالله سلوان. بنيت الكنيسة على مراحل كما تشهد المداميك البارزة في جدرانها. كرّس الكنيسة الخورأسقف يوسف الحايك سنة ١٩٣٩. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مصالب مرتفع، تنتهي بحنية مستقيمة ومذبح، رمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين. للكنيسة قبّتين للجرس إحداها مثمّنة الأضلاع والأخرى مربعة. تحوي الكنيسة على ثلاث لوحات من عمل داوود القرم تُمثّل التجلي والسيّدة ومار يوسف.

The church of the Holy Savior - Hammana

In 1902 an accord to build a church was concluded between the two families of Abi Youness and Aad, it was promulgated by Bishop Nematullah Selwan on the 28th of October. The construction ended in 1905. The church was consecrated by Chorbishop Youssef el Hayek in 1939. The structure consists of a crossed vault with three straight apses and three altars. The church was renovated in the late XXth century. The building is ornated with two bell towers one octagonal and the other squared. The church holds three paintings by Dawood el Qorm depicting the Transfiguration, the Madonna and St Joseph.

محبسة مار سمعان العاموديّ وادي البواليع - عبيدات المحبسة عبارة عن تَجوِيفٍ مَحفُورٍ فِي الصَّخر، بِدَاخِله صُوَرٌ جُدرَانِيَّةٌ تعود إِلى القَرن الثَّاني عَشَر. مِن بَينِ هِﺬهِ الجُدرَانِيّات رَسمُ الشفاعة، وَكِتَابَةٌ سِرَيَانِيَّةٌ لَم يَبقَ منهَا
وَمِن الرُّسُومِ إلّا القَلِيل بِسَبَب عَوَامِل الطَّبِيعَة وَجَهل الإِنسَان.

يَتمُّ الصُعُودُ إِلَى غُرَفِ الدَّير بِوَاسِطة سَلَالِم خَشَبِيَّةٍ وَأُخرَى حَدِيدِيَّةٍ مُستَحدَثَةٍ.تُجَاوِرُ دَيرَ مَار سِمعَان كَنِيسَة
مَارت مُورَا، وَهِيَ عِبَارَةٌ عَن نَقرٍ في الصَخرِ.بحسب الخبراء جداريّات عبيدات تعودُ لراسم جداريّات كنيسة
مار تادرس بحديدات.

 


The hermitage of St Simeon the stylite in Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat The monastery is a hollowed-out cavity in the rock, containing frescoes dating back to the XIIth century. Among these wall paintings is the depiction of the deisis, as well as Syriac inscriptions, of which only a few remain due to natural factors and human ignorance. Access to the monastery's chambers is achieved through newly installed wooden and iron ladders. Adjacent to the Mar Simeon monastery is the St Moura's Church, which is a carved cave in the rock. According to experts, the wall paintings in 'Abeydat belong to the same artist who painted the wall paintings in the Mar Tadros Church in Behadidat.


La Ermita de San Simeón el estilita en Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat El monasterio es una cavidad excavada en la roca, que contiene frescos que datan del siglo XII. Entre estas pinturas murales se encuentra la representación de la deisis, así como inscripciones siríacas, de las cuales, debido a factores naturales y la ignorancia humana, solo quedan unas pocas. Para acceder a las cámaras del monasterio se utilizan las escaleras de hierro y madera recién instaladas. Colindante al monasterio de San Simeon se encuentra la iglesia de San Moura, que es una cueva tallada en la roca. Según los expertos, las pinturas murales de 'Abeydat pertenecen al mismo artista que pintó las pinturas murales de la iglesia de San Tadros en Behadidat

بنى الرومان في دير الأحمر معبدًا لجوبيتير، تحوّل أوائل القرون الوسطى لبرجٍ عسكريّ لم يبقَ من بنائه سوى الطابق الأوّل. خلال القرن العاشر تحوّل الى ديرٍ يعقوبيّ. سنة ١٧٥٩ دمّر زلزال ضخم كنيسة سيّدة الزروع القديمة فتداعى الأهالي لبناء عقدٍ سريريّ كبير فوق آثار البرج، ليصبح البناء كنيسةً جديدةً كبيرة. كُرّست الكنيسة سنة ١٨٤٣ ورُمّمت سنة ٢٠١٧. تضمّ الكنيسة لوحتين للعذراء من عمل كنعان ديب وداوود القرم. كذلك تحتوي على مكتبةً غنيّة بالكتب البيعيّة.

The Church of Our Lady of the Tower - Deir El Ahmar

The Romans built a temple dedicated to Jupiter in Deir El Ahmar. During the High Middle Ages, the temple was converted into a three-storey military tower, but today only the first storey remains. In the 10th century, Jacobite monks used the site as a monastery. In 1759, an earthquake struck the region and destroyed the old church of Our Lady. The people of Deir el Ahmar then decided to build a great cross-vaulted church on the foundation of the tower. The church was dedicated in 1843 and underwent renovation in 2017. The church is home to a manuscript library and two Marian paintings by Kanaan Dib and Dawoud el Qorm. La Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Torre - Deir El-Ahmar Los romanos construyeron un templo dedicado a Júpiter en Deir El-Ahmar. A principios de la Alta Edad Media, el templo se convirtió en una torre militar de tres pisos, de la cual actualmente solo queda el primer piso. En el siglo X, los monjes jacobitas utilizaron el sitio como monasterio. En 1759, un terremoto azotó la región y destruyó la antigua iglesia de Nuestra Señora. La gente de Deir el-Ahmar decidió entonces construir una Iglesia de grandes dimensiones con bóveda de crucería sobre los cimientos de la torre. La iglesia fue consagrada en 1843 y se renovó en 2017. La iglesia alberga una biblioteca de manuscritos y dos pinturas marianas de Kanaan Dib y Dawoud el Qorm.
