كنيسة سيّدة اللوزة – حاقل يعود بناء الكنيسة إلى القرن السابع للميلاد. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ سريريّ ينتهي بحنية. هي من أقدم الكنائس في لبنان، ويعود سبب تسميتها إلى رمزيّة اللوز في الكتاب المقدّس، فاللوزة هي أوّل شجرة تُزهر مُعلنة قدوم الربيع، وقد رأى الآباء في اللوزة رمزًا لإيمان مريم العذراء. كانت هذه الكنيسة منطلقًا للعلّامة إبراهيم الحاقلاني قبل ذهابه إلى روما سنة 1616، وللحاج سلهب الحاقلاني مؤسس دير سيّدة اللويزة – ذوق مصبح سنة 1682. تضمّ الكنيسة نقوشًا صليبيّة على الكلس، لوحة السيّدة من القرن السادس عشر، ونسخة أحدث عنها، مذبح أساسيّ رخاميّ يعود لسنة 1923، ومذبح خلفيّ خشبيّ. The church of our Lady of Almonds - Haqel The church was built in the VIIth century. The structure consists of a crib vault. It is one of the oldest churches in Mount Lebanon. The origin of the name Lady of Almond is Biblical, the almond tree being the first tree that blossoms announcing spring. Early Church fathers saw in the almond tree a symbol of the Virgin Mary. The church was the parish of Ibrahim Haqlany before he went to Rome in 1616, and the monk Salhab Haqlany founder of the monastery of Our Lady of Louaize Zouk Mosbeh in 1682. The church holds engravings dating back to the crusaders era, a XVIth century Marian icon and a latter replica, a main marble altar fron 1923, and a wooden altar at the end of the church.

كنيسة مار جرجس - القريّة صيدا

بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى مع قدوم المسيحيّين إلى البلدة في القرن الثامن عشر، وكانت كنيسة صغيرة قليلة الإرتفاع تعرف بالقبو. تعرّضت هذه الكنيسة للتخريب في أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. سنة ١٩١٤ ومع ازدياد عدد الأهالي، تقرّر بناء كنيسةٍ أكبر في الموضع عينه. فبدأ المشروع في عهد المطران بولس بصبوص والخوري بطرس كسّاب، نفّذه المعمار الياس قسطنطين من عبرا. وهي كنيسة بسوقٍ واحد ينتهي بحنية وسقف قرميد. في ستّينيات القرن العشرين أضيفت إلى قبّتها برج للجرس عند الواجهة الغربيّة. اللوحة التصويريّة من عمل راجي الحاج تعود لسنة ١٩٣٩. تعرّضت الكنيسة للعبث سنة ١٩٨٥ مع تهجير المسيحيّين من شرق صيدا، وأخذَت حلّةً جديدةً بالترميم في أواخر تسعينات القرن العشرين.

The church of St George - Qrayeh Sidon

The first church was built with the settlement of christians in the region in the XVIIIth century. It was known as the Qabou (the cellar) hence it was a small structure. It was sabotaged in the war of 1860. In 1914 with the growth of the congregation, the village needed a new church. The construction began during the pontificate of Bishop Boulos Basbous and Fr. Boutros Kassab, construction was executed by Elias Constantin from Abra. The church is of a single nave ending with an apse, and a brick roof. During the late sixties a bell tower was added to the original old one on the western side. The painting is the work of Raji el Hajj 1939. The church was sabotaged during the civil war in 1985, and restored in the last decade of the XXth century.

الكنيسة الحاليّة مبنيّة في موضعٍ رومانيّ، بُني مكانه كنيسةً يعقوبيّة في القرون الوسطى. سنة ١٧٤١ إكتُشِفَت في الموقع أيقونةً للعذراء مريم. بُنيت في الموقع الكنيسة الحاليّة بشكل عقدٍ سريريّ وحنية نصف دائريّة. سنة ١٩٠٤ جلب الرهبان اليسوعيّون تمثالاً لعذراء بونتمان الفرنسيّة مازال بقلب الكنيسة. تشتهر هذه الكنيسة بحدوث العديد من المعجزات والكرامات بشفاعة العذراء مريم، وهي محجّ مريميّ كبير.

The miraculous church of our Lady of Bechouat - Bechouat

The first church was built on a roman site, it was a medieval Jacobite church. In 1741 a marian icon was discovered in this site. The current church was built on the site, consisting of a single crib vault and a semi circular apse. In 1904 the jesuits on a mission in the region brought to the village a replica of the French marian statue of Pontmain that is still enshrined in the church. The church is famous for being a pilgrimage site with many miracles attributed to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin.

كنيسة مار جاورجيوس - المحيدثة بكفيّا

تسلّمت الرهبانيّة الباسيليّة الشويريّة حجّة عام ١٧٢٦ لبناء كنيسة على إسم مار جرجس للروم الملكييّن الكاثوليك فشرعت بالبناء، وشهدت مراحل ترميم وتوسعة عام ١٩٠٠ و٢٠١١. تتميّز الكنيسة بالإيقونات المقدسيّة والبلديّة التي تعود للنصف الثاني من القرن الثامن عشر.
تخدم كنيسة مار جرجس كلّ أبناء المنطقة وهي أمّ الرعايا الملكيّة والأقدم بينها.

St George’s church - El Mhaydse Bikfaya

The Bassilian Choueirite order received permission to build a church in Bikfaya in 1726, and decided to dedicate the new church to St George. The church underwent major restorations in 1900 and 2011. The church holds a collection of icons from the School of Jerusalem and some other local icons. The icons date back to the XVIIIth century. The church is the mother parish of all the Melkites in the region.
