كنيسة سيّدة اللوزة – حاقل يعود بناء الكنيسة إلى القرن السابع للميلاد. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ سريريّ ينتهي بحنية. هي من أقدم الكنائس في لبنان، ويعود سبب تسميتها إلى رمزيّة اللوز في الكتاب المقدّس، فاللوزة هي أوّل شجرة تُزهر مُعلنة قدوم الربيع، وقد رأى الآباء في اللوزة رمزًا لإيمان مريم العذراء. كانت هذه الكنيسة منطلقًا للعلّامة إبراهيم الحاقلاني قبل ذهابه إلى روما سنة 1616، وللحاج سلهب الحاقلاني مؤسس دير سيّدة اللويزة – ذوق مصبح سنة 1682. تضمّ الكنيسة نقوشًا صليبيّة على الكلس، لوحة السيّدة من القرن السادس عشر، ونسخة أحدث عنها، مذبح أساسيّ رخاميّ يعود لسنة 1923، ومذبح خلفيّ خشبيّ. The church of our Lady of Almonds - Haqel The church was built in the VIIth century. The structure consists of a crib vault. It is one of the oldest churches in Mount Lebanon. The origin of the name Lady of Almond is Biblical, the almond tree being the first tree that blossoms announcing spring. Early Church fathers saw in the almond tree a symbol of the Virgin Mary. The church was the parish of Ibrahim Haqlany before he went to Rome in 1616, and the monk Salhab Haqlany founder of the monastery of Our Lady of Louaize Zouk Mosbeh in 1682. The church holds engravings dating back to the crusaders era, a XVIth century Marian icon and a latter replica, a main marble altar fron 1923, and a wooden altar at the end of the church.

بنى الأمير البيزنطيّ فيليكس قلعةً على ضفاف النهر الكبير، على بقايا هياكل فينيقيّة ورومانيّة. سنة ١١٢٨ رممّ الأمير الصليبيّ جيلبير دي بوي لوران القلعة، ثم باعها لأمير طرابلس ريموند سان جيل. بعد ذلك استولى فرسان القدّيس يوحنا على القلعة وبنوا فيها معبدًا على اسم شفيعهم مار يوحنّا. تعرض الدّير في حقباتٍ عديدةٍ للخراب. وأثناء انتقال الملك الظاهر بيبرس الى القبيات في طريقه الى حصن عكار استولى على الدير والقلعة. بعد رحيل المماليك تحوّل الدّير إلى مزارٍ مريميّ. أواسط القرن التاسع عشر رمّم الدّير يوسف المريض من منجز، وتنسّك به. سنة ١٨٩٢ تسلّم الدّير الآباء اليسوعيّون فبنوا الكنيسة الجديدة، وأقاموا مدرسةً سنة ١٨٩٥. سنة ١٩٢٥ تسلّمت الرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة الدّير. تعرّض الدّير للخراب خلال الحرب الأهليّة، وعاد إليه الرهبان بداية التسعينيّات. الكنيسة مبنيّة بالحجر البركانيّ الأسود، بسوقٍ واحد وعقد سريريّ، تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات الغربيّة ومذبح خشبيّ أوروبيّ الصنع.
The monastery of Our Lady of the fortress - Menjez
The Byzantine prince Felix built a castle over phoenician and roman ruins, that the Crusader prince Gilbert de Pui Lorain took in 1128, then he sold it to the prince of Tripoli Raymond de Saint Gilles. After that the knights of St John took the castle and built a monastery dedicated to St John. With the Mamelouk invasion the monastery was sabotaged when king Zaher Bibars took over Tripoli. After the Mamelouks left, the locals converted the ruins into a Marian shrine. In the mid XIXth century, a local named Youssef el Marid renewed the monastery and made it a hermitage. In 1882 the Jesuits took over, rebuilt the church, and built a school in 1885. In 1925 the Lebanese Maronite Order took the monastery and the school. During the civil war the monastery was sabotaged, the monks didin’t return to the mission until the nineties. The church is made of black bazalt, it is a single nave crib vaulted structure. The church holds many western paintings, and a wooden European high altar.

بنيت الكنيسة أواسط القرن العشرين، بهندسة حديثة. مدخلها كلاسيكيّ الهندسة. لوحة مار أنطونيوس البادوانيّ غير موقّعة، تتميّز كون القدّيس يتلقى البركة من الطفل يسوع وهو يضمّ يديه بشكل صليب.

The new church of St Anthony of Padua - Mayrouba

The church was built in the middle of the XXth century. The entrance has neoclassical motifs. St Anthony’s painting is not signed and is original, representing the saint getting the blessing from the Child Jesus having his hands crossed.

كنيسة سيّدة الإنتقال الجديدة - بقاع كفرا

هي الكنيسة الرعائيّة الجديدة. بُنيت على سطح الكنيسة القديمة، سنة ١٩٢٥. تجمع بين القديم والحديث. مسقوفة بالقرميد من الخارج، أمّا من الداخل، فسقفها بغداديّ. تتألق الكنيسة سوق واحدة، وتحتوي على رسومات وصُوَر وزخارف ونقوش على جدرانها، وزجاجيّات على شبابيكها.

The New church of Our Lady of Assumption - Bekaa Kafra

The new parish church of Our Lady was built on top of the old one in 1925, and consists of one nave. The walls are lavishly decorated with frescoes mouldings and arabesques. The roof is of local type of decoration called Baghdady. The church also contains beautiful stained glass windows.
