كنيسة مار جاورجيوس للروم الأرثوذكس - أنفههي الكنيسة الرئيسيّة في البلدة. إنتهت عمليّة البناء بشكلها الحاليّ في ١٧ أيّار ١٩٧٠. إنّ الموقع الذي بُنيت فيه الكنيسة، له تاريخ مهمّ في التّراث المسيحيّ للبلدة؛ ففي القرون المسيحيّة الأولى، كانت تلك المنطقة مليئة بالقبور المحفورة بالصخر، و بعد ذلك بُني في العهد البيزنطيّ كنيسة في الموقع، تتضارب المعلومات حولها، فالبعض يتحدّث عن وجود ديرٍ على اسم القدّيس جاورجيوس، و البعض الآخر يتحدّث عن ثلاث كنائس تحمل احداها اسم القديس جاورجيوس. سنة ١٩٥٤، قرّر راعي الأبرشيّة هدم البناء القديم و اقامة كنيسة كبيرة مكانه بإسم كنيسة القدّيس جاورجيوس. رُمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠٠٩ وزُيّنت بالجداريّات.St George’s Greek Orthodox Church - AnfeIt is the main parish church of the village, consecrated on the 17th of may 1970. The site has paleo Christian roots as it was a stone necropolis. Later on, during the Byzantine era, a monastery of St George was erected on the site. According to other sources, three churches one of them dedicated to St George were on the site. In 1954 the local bishop decided to build a bigger church on the site and dedicate it to St George. The church was restored in 2009 and decorated with Byzantine frescoes.

سنة ١٩٦١ أَذَن رئيس المجمع الشرقيّ الكاردينال تيسيران أن تنتقل ثلاث راهبات إسبانيّات كرمليّات من طقسهنّ اللاتينيّ الى الطقس البيزنطيّ بغية تأسيس دير كرمليّ مشرقيّ هدفه الصلاة لأجل وحدة الكنيسة. وقد شاءت العناية الإلهيّة أن تكون الراهبات من الأديار التي أسّستها تريزيا الأفيليّة بداية الإصلاح. إفتُتح الدّير في ٢٤ آب سنة ١٩٦٢. زاره البابوان يوحنّا بولس الثاني وبندكتوس السادس عشر إبّان زيارتيهما الرسوليّة الى لبنان. كنيسة الدّير بيزنطيّة الطابع مع فبّة، تتميّز كونها مغطاة بالجداريّات، وإيقونوستاز خشبيّ، وشعريّة الحصن للراهبات.

The Monastery of the Theotokos and the unity - Harissa

In 1961 his eminence Cardinal Tisserant agreed that three nuns join the Byzantine rite to create an oriental Carmelite nunnery with the aim of prayer to the unity of the church. The divine wisdom made the three nuns come from the original monasteries founded by St Theresa of Avila. The monastery was inaugurated on the 24 of august 1962. Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI visited the monastery upon their visit to Lebanon. The monastery’s church is of Byzantine style with a dome and a wooden iconostatis, it is fully covered with frescoes and has a distinctive seperator to demark the cloister of the nuns.

كنيسة أم الله السيّدة مريم - يانوح

بعد محاولته العودة إلى أنطاكيا ورجوعه الى جبل لبنان سنة ٧٥٠، سكن البطريرك الرابع يوحنّا مارون الثاني و من بعده خلفائه البطاركة دير مار جرجس الأزرق يانوح لخمسمئة سنة إلى سنة ١٢٧٧. يُعزى ذلك بحسب المؤرخين لثلاثة أسباب : كون يانوح منطقة جبليّة عاصية، قربها من معبر المنيطرة القريب الى البقاع، وتقوى أهل يانوح بحسب البطريرك الدويهيّ. في القرن الثامن بُنيت كنيسة أم الله في الصرح البطريركيّ لجهة الشمال، وجدّدت في أيّام الصليبيّين. سنة ١٢١٥ صدر أمر البابا اينوشنسيوس الثالث الى الأساقفة الموارنة بالخضوع للبطريرك في كرسيّ يانوح. ضمّت هذه الكنيسة مخطوط إنجيل رابولا. بعد القرون الوسطى خرب الدّير والكرسيّ. رمّمت الكنيسة بسعي البطريرك بشارة بطرس الراعي وأعيد تكريسها سنة ٢٠١٧. تضمّ العرش البطريركيّ القديم، وعلى زواياها نقشت الصلبان المثنية الأطراف.

The church of the Theotokos our Lady Mary - Yanouh

After his failed attempt to go back to Antioch the fourth Maronite patriarch John Maroun II move his seat to the monastery of St George the blue in Yanouh in 1750. The patriarchal seat remained there for 500 years until 1277. The main reasons that Yanouh was chosen was because of the mountainous nature of the region, the closeness to the pass of Mneitra and to the region of Bekaa, and the locals piety described by patriarch Douwaihy. In the VIIIth century the church of the Theotokos was built north of the patriarchal seat, and renewed during the crusades. In 1215 an edict by pope Innocent III ordered the maronite bishops to obey the patriarch in the sear of Our Lady of Yanouh. This church held the Codex Rabbula. After the middle ages the church fell into despair, it was renewed by order of Patriarch Bechara Boutros el Rai in 2017 and reconsecrated. The church holds the old patriarcal throne and has two egged crosses on the four sides of the structure.

كنيسة المخلص - حمّاتا

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٠٥ بموجب اتفاق بين عائلتي أبي يونس وعاد يعود ل٢٨ تشرين الأوّل سنة ١٩٠٢، صادق عليه المطران نعمةالله سلوان. بنيت الكنيسة على مراحل كما تشهد المداميك البارزة في جدرانها. كرّس الكنيسة الخورأسقف يوسف الحايك سنة ١٩٣٩. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مصالب مرتفع، تنتهي بحنية مستقيمة ومذبح، رمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين. للكنيسة قبّتين للجرس إحداها مثمّنة الأضلاع والأخرى مربعة. تحوي الكنيسة على ثلاث لوحات من عمل داوود القرم تُمثّل التجلي والسيّدة ومار يوسف.

The church of the Holy Savior - Hammana

In 1902 an accord to build a church was concluded between the two families of Abi Youness and Aad, it was promulgated by Bishop Nematullah Selwan on the 28th of October. The construction ended in 1905. The church was consecrated by Chorbishop Youssef el Hayek in 1939. The structure consists of a crossed vault with three straight apses and three altars. The church was renovated in the late XXth century. The building is ornated with two bell towers one octagonal and the other squared. The church holds three paintings by Dawood el Qorm depicting the Transfiguration, the Madonna and St Joseph.
