كنيسة سيّدة الشير - إهمجكنيسة سيدة الشير الرعائيّة العجائبيّة، دُعيت بهذا الإسم نسبةً إلى المكان الذي أقيمت عليه وهو شير صخريّ يبلغ ارتفاعه حوالي خمسين مترًا. تعود الكنيسة الأولى إلى العصور الوسطى، وخُرّبت وأعيد بناؤها سنة ١٦٧٦، بعد عودة الأهالي إلى القرية. بدأ العمل في بناء الكنيسة بشكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٠٠ وتمّ إنجازها في العام ١٩٢٠. وهي تشتهر بعجائبها الكثيرة.The church of Our Lady of the cliff - EhmejThe parish church of our Lady was named after a 50 meter limestone cliff above which it stands. The first medieval church was sabotaged and rebuilt in 1676 after the Maronites' return to the village. In 1900 the church took its current form and was completed in 1920. The church is a pilgrimage site famous for the miracles that happened there.
الدّير عبارة عن كهفٍ طبيعيٍّ يقع في وسط الجُرف الصخريّ ويضمُ كنيسةً ومدفنًا وبعض القلالي. يتمّ الوصول إليه عبر درجٍ من الحجارة المنحوتة. بنى الدّير رهبان مونوفيزيّين جاؤوا من الحبشة في القرن الثاني عشر بقصد التنسك. الكنيسة كناية عن تجويفٍ طبيعيًّ حُفرت حنيتها على شكل عقدٍ مكسورٍ مُليّسة بالكلس، ومزيّنة برسومٍ جداريّة ذات أشكال هندسيّة تنتمي لفنّ الكنيسة الحبشيّة. في الكنيسة كذلك مذبح مربّع الشكل.
The monastery of St George of the Abyssinians - the valley of Qannoubine
The monastery is a natural cave in a cliff consisting of a church, a necropolis and some cells. It is accessible trough a carved stair. The monastery was built by Jacobite monks from Abyssinia during the XIIth century. The church is a natural cave with a carved apse covered by limestone gypson with a geometrical motif fresco from the Ethiopian art tradition, the church also has a squared altar.
الكنيسة قديمة العهد وتاريخ بنائها مجهول. في الكنيسة العديد من الحجار المقصوبة المأخوذة من قلعة سمار جبيل القريبة. البناء كناية عن عقد سريريّ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة. تضمّ الكنيسة لوحتين من القرن التاسع عشر: الأولى للعذراء من عمل كنعان ديب والثانية لمار جرجس من عمل المستشرق البولونيّ بول شلافاك.
The church of Our Lady - Mrah El Zayat
The church is an old structure with an unknown history. The structure is a crib vault ending with a semi circular apse, with many spolias from the nearby Smar Jbeil castle. The church holds two XIXth century paintings: the Madonna by Kanaan Dib and St George by the polish orientalist Paul Shlavat.
The hermitage of St Simeon the stylite in Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat The monastery is a hollowed-out cavity in the rock, containing frescoes dating back to the XIIth century. Among these wall paintings is the depiction of the deisis, as well as Syriac inscriptions, of which only a few remain due to natural factors and human ignorance. Access to the monastery's chambers is achieved through newly installed wooden and iron ladders. Adjacent to the Mar Simeon monastery is the St Moura's Church, which is a carved cave in the rock. According to experts, the wall paintings in 'Abeydat belong to the same artist who painted the wall paintings in the Mar Tadros Church in Behadidat.

Entre estas pinturas murales se encuentra la representación de la deisis, así como inscripciones siríacas, de las cuales, debido a factores naturales y la ignorancia humana, solo quedan unas pocas. Para acceder a las cámaras del monasterio se utilizan las escaleras de hierro y madera recién instaladas. Colindante al monasterio de San Simeon se encuentra la iglesia de San Moura, que es una cueva tallada en la roca. Según los expertos, las pinturas murales de 'Abeydat pertenecen al mismo artista que pintó las pinturas murales de la iglesia de San Tadros en Behadidat
