كنيسة السيّدة الكبرى - بيت شبابالكنيسة الحاليّة مبنيّة على أنقاض كنيستين: الأولى مجهولة تاريخ البناء وكانت صغيرة واطئة بنيت قرب مصب الينبوع وكانت قائمة في القرن السادس عشر، الثانية وكانت تُعرف بسيّدة الجوزة، بدأ بناؤها سنة ١٧٠٣ في مكانها الحاليّ. كرّسها في ١٠ أيّار سنة ١٧١٦ البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد، جلب لوحاتها من روما الخورأسقف يوسف السمعاني. سنة ١٩٠٣ بوشر بناء الكنيسة الحاليّة، وهي بازيليكيّة الطراز بثلاث أسواق وعقدٍ بغداديّ، تحوي خمس مذابح رخاميّة. كرّسها سنة ١٩٤٠ الخورأسقف يوسف الحايك. رمّمت الكنيسة عدّة مرّات. وهي أكبر كنيسة في بيت شباب تشتهر بأبراج أجراسها.The church of our Lady the Major - Beit ShababThe current church was built over two older churches. The first one was built near the village’s water fountain, its history is unknown, yet it was in use during the XVIth century. The second one was in the current place, it was known as our Lady of the Walnut tree. Construction began in 1703 and it was consecrated by Patriarch Yaaqoub Awad on the 10th of May 1716. The paintings of the church were brought from Rome by Mgr Youssef el Semaani. The current church was built in 1903, it is a basilical structure with three naves and five marble altars. It was consecrated in 1940 by Mgr Youssef el Hayek. The church underwent many restorations, it is famous for the three bell towers on its facade

بُنيت سنة ١٨٩٨ عندما اوقف يوسف روفايل جبّور ارض الملّاحة لبناء كنيسة. مؤلّفة من سوق واحدة مليّسة وهي من الحجر المصقوب المغطى بالقرميد. اللوحة من عمل سليم صليبا سنة ١٩٢٧.

The church was built in 1898 when Joseph Rafael Jabbour gave the land of Al Malaha to build a church. The church is a single nave built in yellow stone. The painting is the work of Salim Saliba dating back to 1927

بُنيت أواخر القرن الثامن عشر ، كان بقربها قلّاية، وهي كناية عن بيتٍ صغيرٍ مخصّصٍ لسكن الكاهن، نزل فيه الأمير حيدر أبي اللمع قائمقام النصارى في عهد القائمقاميّتين، وقد وقف الأمير الكثير من أرزاقه لهذه الكنيسة. والبناء كناية عن عقدٍ صغيرٍ مُصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية. تضمّ الكنيسة لوحةً غربيّة لمار جرجس.

The old St George’s church - Sarba

The Church was constructed at the end of the XVIIIth century. A "qelleye" - a small house meant for the priest's residence - was built near it. Prince Haider Abi Al-Lama', who served as the Christian Qaimqam during the Qaimqamiyat era in Mount Lebanon, stayed in the qelleye. He generously donated a significant portion of his livelihood to the church. The church's structure features a small crossed arch vault that culminates in an apse. Inside, there is a western-style painting of St George.

The church dates back to the Phoenician era with a high vault. The great frensh orientalist Ernest Renan retraced its history with its huge stone pillars. The church had a great Phoenician tympant with two snakes revolving around a globe. The huge stone was taken to the Louvre museum by Renan.
The final stage and most recent construction dates back to 1870 when the church was rededicated by bishop Yousef el Marid.

تعود الى العهد الفينيقي لأنها مبنيّة بعقد قصبة مرتفعة وكانت معبدًا وثنيًّا.
أشار إرنست رينان الى وجود اعمِدة أثريّة استُعملت في مداميك البناء. رُمّمت وزيد عليها مع تعاقب المراحل التاريخيّة.
رينان انتزع عتبة الكنيسة وأرسلها الى متحف اللوفر في باريس، وهي تحمل نقشًا من الرموز التي كانت شائعةً في الدين الفينيقي يمثّل كرةً تلتفُّ حولها حيّاتٌ مجتمعة الأذناب في أعلاها
رُمِّمت هذه الكنيسة عدَّة مرّات، وكُرِّست عام 1870 بيد المطران يوسف المريض. وصورة مار جرجس فيها هي بريشة الرسّام بولس شلافك
