كنيسة سيّدة الغابة - بيت شباببنُيت الكنيسة الأولى في القرن السابع عشر، واعتنى بإعادة بنائها آل الحايك مرّتين سنة ١٧٧٢ و١٧٧٣. خُرّبت أثناء حملة إبراهيم باشا فأعاد ترميمها الأمير حيدر أبي اللمع سنة ١٨٤٠. أخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٠٠ ورُمّمت سنة ١٩٩٠. في الكنيسة عدّة لوحات أهمّها اللوحة القديمة التي تعود للقرن السادس عشر، كان قد رسم فوقها كنعان ديب لوحة أخرى لم تعد موجودة سنة ١٨٣٩ وقد جرّحها فارسٌ درزيّ في أحداث ١٨٦٠، وقد نُقلت عنها لوحة لحبيب سرور تعود لسنة ١٩١٩.The church of Our Lady of the Forest - Beit ChabebThe church was first built in the XVIIth century, then rebuilt by the Hayek family in 1726 and 1773. It was damaged during the campaign of Mehmet Ali Pasha and restored by Prince Haidar Abi Ll Lamah in 1840. It took its final shape in year 1900, and then restored 90 years later. The church holds many paintings the most important ones being the old XVIth century icon of the Madona, that was covered by another painting by Kanaan Dib drawn in year 1839 that is no longer present. This painting was attacked by a Druze knight in the war of 1860. Habib Srour drew a copy of it in 1919.

كنيسة القدّيسة كاترينا – أنفه

كنيسة القدّيسة كاترينا كنيسة أرثوذوكسيّة بنيت هذه إبّان الحملة الصليبيّة الثالثة في القرن الثاني عشر بحسب الفنّ الرومانيّ، وكرّست على اسم القبر المقدّس. كانت الكنيسة تابعة لفرسان مالطا. في القرن السابع عشر رُمّمت الكنيسة وسَمّاها السكان على اسم القدّيسة كاترينا. تحوي الكنيسة عدّة أيقونات أهمّها أيقونة القدّيسة كاترينا التي رسمها بوليخرونيوس الكريتي أوائل القرن التاسع عشر.

The Church of St Catherine - Enfeh

The Greek Orthodox church of St Catherine was built in the XIIIth century during the third Crusade according to the romanesque architectural style, and was dedicated to The Holy Sepulcher. The church was a vassal to the Knights of St John of Malta. During the XVIIth century the church was restored and rededicated to St Catherine. The church holds many icons the most important one being that of St Catherine dating back to the early XIXth century, it is the masterpiece of the Cretan iconographer Polychronius.

دير مار جرجس الأحباش - وادي قنوبين

الدّير عبارة عن كهفٍ طبيعيٍّ يقع في وسط الجُرف الصخريّ ويضمُ كنيسةً ومدفنًا وبعض القلالي. يتمّ الوصول إليه عبر درجٍ من الحجارة المنحوتة. بنى الدّير رهبان مونوفيزيّين جاؤوا من الحبشة في القرن الثاني عشر بقصد التنسك. الكنيسة كناية عن تجويفٍ طبيعيًّ حُفرت حنيتها على شكل عقدٍ مكسورٍ مُليّسة بالكلس، ومزيّنة برسومٍ جداريّة ذات أشكال هندسيّة تنتمي لفنّ الكنيسة الحبشيّة. في الكنيسة كذلك مذبح مربّع الشكل.

The monastery of St George of the Abyssinians - the valley of Qannoubine

The monastery is a natural cave in a cliff consisting of a church, a necropolis and some cells. It is accessible trough a carved stair. The monastery was built by Jacobite monks from Abyssinia during the XIIth century. The church is a natural cave with a carved apse covered by limestone gypson with a geometrical motif fresco from the Ethiopian art tradition, the church also has a squared altar.
