يعود بناء الكنيسة للقرن العاشر، تحتوي على مجموعة جدرانيّات تعود إلى القرون الوسطى. هي من أكثر الكنائس المحافظة على طابعها الأول هندسةً، وتُجسّد الجدرانيّات التي زيَّنتها منذ القرن الثالث عشر، موضوعاتٍ من العهدين القديم والجديد.تُجسّد الجدرانية قصَّة الخلاص المقسومة الى جزءين: الأوّل إلى الناحية اليمنى يُمثّل يدَي الربّ وموسى يتلقّى منهما الوصايا العشر، والى الناحية اليسرى ذبيحة النبي إبراهيم، وما بين الإثنين رسمٌ لعمانوئيل وسط القمر والشمس. والثاني الى اليمين يمثّل بِشارة العذراء، يليه رسم للنبي دانيال، ومار إسطفان. على الحائط الشماليّ صورة مار تاودروس، وعلى الحائط الجنوبيّ صورة القديس جاورجيوس. في الوسط ايقونة الشفاعة مع الملائكة وعلى مستوى المذبح صف الرسل الإثنا عشر.The church was built during the tenth century, and contains a collection of medieval Syriac frescoes. It is one of the most preserved churches architecturally. The church was covered with frescos dating back to the 13th century and depicting themes from the Old and the New Testament. The main fresco represents on the right side the hand of God giving Moses the ten commandments, on the left the sacrifice of Abraham. In the middle is Emmanuel between the sun and the moon. The second part depicts the Annunciation, prophet Daniel, and Stephen the Protomartyr. On the northern wall one can find St Theodorus, and St George on the southern. In the main apse is the Deisis with angels, below it the row of the twelve apostles

بُنيت الكنيسة كمزارٍ صغيرِ مُكرّس للنبيّ إيليّا فوق معبدٍ رومانيّ في القرن الخامس. أعاد المردة توسيع البناء الأوّل في القرن العاشر. بعد تأسيس دير سيّدة طاميش سنة ١٦٨٥ كان المطران جبرائيل البلوزاوي (البطريرك لاحقًا) يرسل راهباً ليخدم الرعيّة. سنة ١٧٢٣ سلّم البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد كنيسة مار الياس وجميع املاك الدير واوقافه الى الرهبنة الانطونيّة. شهدت كنيسة الدّير سنة ١٨٢٠ وسنة ١٨٤٠ على قسم عاميّتين إجتمعت فيهما كافة الأطياف من جبل لبنان تنديدًا بجور الأمير بشير الثاني. سنة ١٩٢٧ أخذت الكنيسة شكلها الحاليَ ورُمّمت أخيرًا سنة ٢٠٠٠.

The Church of St. Elijah - Antelias

The church was initially constructed as a small shrine atop a Roman pagan temple in the 5th century. During the 10th century, the Maradaites expanded the original shrine. After Bishop Gebrayel El Blousawi (later patriarch) established the Tamish monastery in 1685, he assigned one of its monks to serve the Antelias parish. In 1723, Patriarch Jacob Awad generously donated the church, monastery, and all associated lands to the Antonine Maronite Order. The Church of St. Elias played a significant role in two revolutionary agreements between representatives of Mount Lebanon's denominations, opposing the oppressive rule of Prince Beshir II in 1820 and 1840. The church acquired its present form in 1927 and underwent restoration in 2000.

كنيسة السيّدة الجديدة - صربا الجنوب

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٤٦ وكرّسها المطران أغوسطينوس البستاني. بناؤها بازيليكيّ الطراز بثلاث أسواقٍ وحنية نصف دائريّة. رُمّمت الكنيسة بعد زلزال سنة ١٩٥٦، وأُضيفت إليها قبّة الجرس. تضمّ الكنيسة أيقونةً أورشليميّة عجائبيّة للسيّدة العذراء وهي التي حمت الأهالي خلال الحرب العالميّة الأولى.

The new Church of Our Lady - Sarba, South Lebanon.

The church was constructed in 1946 and consecrated by Archbishop Augustine el-Boustany. This basilical church features three naves and a semi-circular apse. Following the earthquake of 1956, the structure underwent restoration, and a bell tower was subsequently added to the church. Notably, the church houses an icon of the Theotokos from the school of Jerusalem, which is believed to possess miraculous properties. According to the local community, this icon protected the village during World War I, serving as a source of divine intervention and safeguarding.

كنيسة سيّدة الإنتقال القديمة - بقاع كفرا

الكنيسة القديمة يعود تأسيسها إلى نحو سبعمئة عام، تتميّز بالصليب المثلث الأطراف الموجود على عتبة بابها الرئيسيّ، وأيقونة السيّدة التي تعود للقرن السادس عشر، وجرن العماد القديم حيث قبل مار شربل سرّه الأوّل. لم يتوقف اهل هذه البلدة يومًا عن صلاة الفرض الإلهيّ حتى خلال فصل الشتاء القارس، اذ بنوا دهليزًا تحت الارض يصل البيوت بالكنيسة، ولكنّ معظمه قد سقط.
سنة ١٩٢٥ دُعِّم العقد القديم ليتحمّل الكنيسة الجديدة فوقه.

The old church of Our Lady of Assumption - Bekaa Kafra

The old church was built in the XIVth century, it holds a medieval three branched cross on her tympanum. The church also holds the baptismal font of St Charbel, a XVIth century icon of the Madona and ruined catacombs that the local used to get to church during harsh winters to pray the office.
In 1925 the new church was built on top of the old one. To accommodate this renewal the old vault was reinforced changing the medieval allure of the old church.
