كنيسة السيّدة - وادي جزّين

بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى أواخر القرن الثامن عشر وهي كنيسة صغيرة بسقف خشبيّ بهبة من الشيخ بشير جنبلاط. نجت هذه الكنيسة بأعجوبة من الخراب خلال أحداث ١٨٤٠ حين حاول المعتدون إحراق السقف الخشبيّ فلم يحترق وسنة ١٨٦٠ حين وريت بالضباب. سنة ١٨٩٠ أخذت الكنيسة شكلها الحاليّ، لكنّ البناء لم يكتمل إلّا سنة ١٩٠٣ بسعي أبناء البلدة في الأرجنتين. في الكنيسة لوحتان للسيّدة إحداهما تعود للقرن الثامن عشر، والأخرى تعود لسنة ١٩٠١ من عمل الياس الأسمر كرم.

The church of Our Lady - Wadi Jezzine

The first church was built in the XVIIIth century, it was a small church with a wooden ceiling, on a plot of land donated by Sheikh Bachir Joumblat. The church was miraculously saved from being burned in 1840, and was hidden by a thick fog from the eyes of the aggressors during the war of 1860. In 1890 the church took its final shape with a stone vaulted ceiling. the church was finally completed in 1903. The church holds two paintings of the Virgin Mary: an XVIIIth century icon , and another one from 1901 by Elias Asmar Karam.

كنيسة سيّدة النجاة - بكاسين

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨٥٥، بعقدٍ مصالب. تعرّضت للتخريب إبّان حوادث سنة ١٨٦٠، ورمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحة سيّدة الحبل بلا دنس وهي من عمل غربيّ، كذلك لوحة مار يوسف ومجموعة زجاجيّات.

The church of Our Lady of Deliverance - Bkassine

The church was built in 1855, and consists of a single arched vault. The building was sabotaged during the war of 1860 and finally restored in the late XXth century. The church holds a European late XIXth century painting depicting the Immaculate conception. The modern painting of St Joseph and the stained glass windows are the work of the artist André Nammour.

كنيسة مار الياس - بجرّين
هي البناء الوحيد الباقي من قرية بجرّين التي هُجرت على إثر الحرب العالميّة الأولى. تعود للعهد الصليبيّ، وهي محافِظة على طابعها القديم فلا توجد فيها قبّة جرس. بناؤها بسيط، وتظهر على جدرانها بقايا جداريّات مخفيّة تحت طبقة الكلس.

The church of St Elias - Bjerrin

It is the only standing building in tbe village of Bjerrin that was abandoned after the World War I. The church dates back to the times of the Crusades, and still preserves a modest architecture without a bell tower. On the walls are visible the remains of medieval frescoes under a layer of stuco.
