كنيسة مار يوحنّا الحبيب - جربتا

سنة ١٨٦٥ شيّد الخوري يوحنّا جرجس بصبوص مدرسةً على اسم مار يوحنّا الحبيب في محلّة الضهر معاد، وجعل لها كنيسةً صغيرةً بعقدٍ مُصالب. أُوقفت المدرسة والكنيسة للرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة سنة ١٨٩٥ بُغية تحويلها لدير راهباتٍ مُحصّنات. قبلت الرهبانيّة الوقفيّة سنة ١٨٩٧ وصادق عليها البطريرك يوحنّا الحاج. سنة ١٩٠١ رقد الخوري يوحنّا بالربّ ودُفن في كنيسته. رُمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠٠٣ ونُقل إليها مذبح دير مار يوسف القديم وهو من عمل الأخوين بصبوص من راشانا.

The Church of St. John the Apostle - Jrabta

The church was constructed in 1865 to serve as a chapel for St. John's School, which was established by Father Youhanna Gerges Basbous. The school was handed over to the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1895 and was transformed into a nunnery. The donation was accepted by the order in 1897, and the decision was authorized by Patriarch Youhanna el Hajj. In 1901, Father Basbous passed away and was buried in the chapel. The church underwent restoration in 2003, during which the magnificent marble altar of St. Joseph's Monastery, a masterpiece carved by the Basbous brothers, was installed.

كنيسة سيّدة الغسّالة - القبيات
بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى بالقرب من قناة جرًّ للمياه، كانت نساء القرية يغسلن ثيابهنّ بقربها أيّام السبوت، لذلك سمّي الموضع الغسّالة وحملت الكنيسة إسم سيّدة الغسّالة. بُنيت الكنيسة الحاليّة سنة ١٩٢٧ بمسعى من أبناء البلدة المغتربين. تتميّز الكنيسة أنّها مكسوّة الداخل بالكامل بالنقوش، تحوي عدّة جداريّات فريدة كجداريّة الذبيحة الإلهيّة حيث يظهر الكأس يعلوه النجم، وجداريّة الصدقة.

The church of Our Lady of Ghassala - Kobayat
The first church was built on a site near an aqueduct where the village’s ladies used to wash their laundry hence the name in Arabic Ghessele invoking laundry washing. The first church held the name of the site. In 1927 the new church was built with donations made by Kobayaty expats. The church is covered on the inside with painted stucco. The church holds distinctive unique frescoes such as the fresco of the Holy Sacrifice with the distinctive oriental liturgical altar paraments, and the fresco of the alm.

St. Rita Church, Ghadir, Lebanon

كابيلّا القدّيسة ريتا - غادير

سنة ١٩٠٦ بنت عائلة خورشيد إيليان كابيلّا مدفنيّة على اسم مار بطرس وبولس، وكانت تابعة لكنيسة الأرمن الكاثوليك. سنة ١٩٨٩ إنتقلت ملكيّتها لوقف الورديّة، غادير، ورُمّمت. كرّسها الخورأسقف يعقوب الشمالي على اسم القدّيسة ريتا. سنة ٢٠٠٢ أُعيد ترميمها وأُضيفت إليها الباحة الخارجيّة. سنة ٢٠١٥ تمّ الاحتفال باليوبيل الفضيّ لتكريسها. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب، بواجهة نيوكلاسيكيّة.

The Chapel of St. Rita - Ghadir

In 1906, the Armenian Catholic family Khorcheid Elian built a funerary chapel dedicated to Sts. Peter and Paul. In 1989, the chapel was purchased by the parish of the Rosary - Ghadir. It was then rededicated to St. Rita by Chorbishop Yaqoub Chemaly. In 2002, the chapel underwent restoration, and an external garden was added. In 2015, the chapel celebrated its silver jubilee. The structure features a crossed vault with a neoclassical facade.
