كنيسة مار الياس - أنطلياس بُنيت الكنيسة كمزارٍ صغيرِ مُكرّس للنبيّ إيليّا فوق معبدٍ رومانيّ في القرن الخامس. أعاد المردة توسيع البناء الأوّل في القرن العاشر. بعد تأسيس دير سيّدة طاميش سنة ١٦٨٥ كان المطران جبرائيل البلوزاوي (البطريرك لاحقًا) يرسل راهباً ليخدم الرعيّة. سنة ١٧٢٣ سلّم البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد كنيسة مار الياس وجميع املاك الدير واوقافه الى الرهبنة الانطونيّة. شهدت كنيسة الدّير سنة ١٨٢٠ وسنة ١٨٤٠ على قسم عاميّتين إجتمعت فيهما كافة الأطياف من جبل لبنان تنديدًا بجور الأمير بشير الثاني. سنة ١٩٢٧ أخذت الكنيسة شكلها الحاليَ ورُمّمت أخيرًا سنة ٢٠٠٠. The Church of St. Elijah - Antelias The church was initially constructed as a small shrine atop a Roman pagan temple in the 5th century. During the 10th century, the Maradaites expanded the original shrine. After Bishop Gebrayel El Blousawi (later patriarch) established the Tamish monastery in 1685, he assigned one of its monks to serve the Antelias parish. In 1723, Patriarch Jacob Awad generously donated the church, monastery, and all associated lands to the Antonine Maronite Order. The Church of St. Elias played a significant role in two revolutionary agreements between representatives of Mount Lebanon's denominations, opposing the oppressive rule of Prince Beshir II in 1820 and 1840. The church acquired its present form in 1927 and underwent restoration in 2000.

تأسّس الدّير في مزرعة الراس بعد جلاء المماليك عن كسروان. عام ١٧٠٤ كان الدّير بعهدة القسّ بطرس صفرونيوس الحاقلانيّ من زوق مصبح، الذي ترهّب فيه مع رهبانه العبّاد.
قرّر المجمع اللبنانيّ المنعقد سنة ١٧٣٦ إلغاء الأديار المزدوجة، وفصل أديار الرهبان عن أديار الراهبات، وشدّد على أن يكون للراهبات قانون خاصّ. عند الإنتقال إلى مرحلة تطبيق مبدأ الفصل إتّفق القاصد الرسوليّ يوسف السمعانيّ مع المطران عبدالله قراعلي، على إنشاء دير قانونيّ يكون مثالًا وقدوة لسائر أديار الراهبات في دير ما الياس الراس. وهكذا آل الدير إلى الرّهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة.
باشر الرهبان، بعد استلام الدّير، بناء كنيسةٍ ودير مخصّص لسكن راهبات محصّنات فبني الدّير الجديد مع كنيسته الكبيرة. فُتحت أبواب الدير في ٦ كانون الثاني ١٧٤٠. ولا يزال إلى اليوم واحة صلاةٍ وتأملٍ، ومزارًا يقصده المؤمنون من كلّ حدبٍ وصوب.

The convent of St Elias el Ras - Jeita

The convent was built in the farm of El Rass after the Mamluks left Keserwan. In 1704 the convent was under the custody of Boutros Safronius el Haklany, a monk from Zouk Mosbeh. In 1736 the Lebanese Council dictated that nunneries shall be separated from monks' monasteries, thereby abolishing mixed monasteries, and giving nuns their own convents and rules. When it was time to apply the new rules, Monsignor Youssef El Semaany, the papal nuncio, and Bishop Abdallah Qaraaly, decided to give St Elias’s convent to the nuns of the newly formed Lebanese Order. It was decided to build a new convent suitable for contemplative nuns with a big church. The new convent was consecrated on the 6th of January 1740, and is still a haven for prayer and meditation, and a shrine for all pilgrims.

دير مار مارون - عنّايا
دير للرهبانيّة اللّبنانيّة المارونيّة إنتهى العمل من بنائه سنة ١٨٢٨. وبين سنتي ١٨٣٨ و١٨٤١ أُكمِل بناء الكنيسة وجميع الأقبية. هو دير مارونيّ تقليديّ بجميع أقسامه من حوش ومضافة وكنيسة صغيرة. إشتهر الدّير لأنّه مقام القدّيس شربل مخلوف الذي حوّله إلى محجّ ومزار.

The monastery of St Maroun Annaya
A monastery for the Lebanese Maronite Order built in 1828. The church and the vaults were completed between 1838 and 1841. It is a traditional maronite monastery with its vaults, cloister, reception room and small church. It was made famous by being the resting place of St Charbel Makhlouf who transformed it into a pilgrimage site.

كنيسة مار لابا - الميدان جزّين

سنة ١٧٤٢ إنتُخب المطران سمعان عوّاد الحصرونيّ بطريركًا وجعل كرسيّه في بلدة الميدان الجزينيّة. حمل أهل حصرون معهم شفاعة مار لابا أو يهوذا الرسول إلى الميدان وبنوا له مقامًا صغيرًا. سنة ١٩٠٣ بعناية الخوري يعقوب عوّاد، بُنيت الكنيسة الحاليّة، وهي كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ ينتهي بحنيةٍ نصف دائريّة. وجلب مغتربو البلدة لوحة مار لابا من المكسيك سنة ١٩٢١ وهي من عمل سارييا زاكاتيكاس. وسّعت الكنيسة ورمّمت عدّة مرّات في النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين.

The church of St Laba - Al Midane Jezzine

In 1742 bishop Semaan Awad was elected patriarch, and made his patriarchal seat in Al Midane. Since he was originally from Hassroun he built a shrine for St Jude the apostle (Laba or Tedy) in the village. In 1903 the current church was built, with the efforts of Fr. Yaqoub Awad. The structure consists of a crossed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The church was renovated many times during the latter half of the XXth century. The painting of St Leba was donated by the village’s diaspora in Mexico in 1921 it is the work of Saria Zakaticas.
