بناها الخوري يوحنا إبن الخوري فرج الحداد، وقد عُثرَ على قرطاس في كنيسة تحوم يؤيّد ذلك.وكنيسة مار روحانا مشيّدة على بقايا برج روماني قديم آثاره ما زالت ماثلة، فزاويته الجنوبيّة الغربيّة راسخة على حجارة ضخمة من نفس مقلع حجارة بعلبك بحسب الخبراء. اما درج الكنيسة فداخليّ، وفي خاصرة حنية الكنيسة حجرة مخفية أعدّها القدماء مدفنًا لكنوزهم.وبالقرب من هذا المعبد، اكتشف الأثريّون مدافن قديمة واستدلّوا على منزلة مهمة لمن سكن في هذه الأماكن الأثريّة.تجدر الإشارة إلى أنّ مار روحانا المرنّم هو لقب محبّب للسريان معناه الروحانيّ، يطلق على مار قبريانوس الناسك.St Rouhana’s church - Aïn kfaaIt was built by Fr. Youhanna son of Fr. Faraj Al Haddad, as it is attested in a manuscript belonging to the parish of Thoum.The church is built on top of an old roman tour, the stones of which are quarried from the same source as the Great temples of Baalbek. The church has an indoor stone ladder.Near the church many roman ruins where found and a noble necropolis.St Rouhana the cantor is a title given by the syriacs and is translated to "the spiritual", it is given to St Cyprian the hermit.

كنيسة سيّدة الإنتقال الجديدة - بقاع كفرا

هي الكنيسة الرعائيّة الجديدة. بُنيت على سطح الكنيسة القديمة، سنة ١٩٢٥. تجمع بين القديم والحديث. مسقوفة بالقرميد من الخارج، أمّا من الداخل، فسقفها بغداديّ. تتألق الكنيسة سوق واحدة، وتحتوي على رسومات وصُوَر وزخارف ونقوش على جدرانها، وزجاجيّات على شبابيكها.

The New church of Our Lady of Assumption - Bekaa Kafra

The new parish church of Our Lady was built on top of the old one in 1925, and consists of one nave. The walls are lavishly decorated with frescoes mouldings and arabesques. The roof is of local type of decoration called Baghdady. The church also contains beautiful stained glass windows.

كنيسة مار أسطفان - لحفد

الكنيسة بالأصل كانت معبدًا رومانيًّا على تلّة حوّله الصليبيّون إلى بُرجٍ للمراقبة، سكنه مقدَّموا لحفد. سنة ١٨١٠ تحوّل المكان إلى كنيسةٍ بعقدٍ مُصالبٍ لتكون رعيّة البلدة. مذبح الكنيسة ولوحة مار أسطفان، مُستوردان من إيطاليا بسعي من أبناء البلدة في بيروت أواخر القرن التاسع عشر. حمل إبن لحفد الطوباوي أسطفان نعمه شفاعة صاحب الكنيسة وتكنّى باسمه عند دخوله الرهبانيّة.

The church of St Stephen - Lehfed

The church was originally a pagan roman temple on a hill that was converted into a watch tower by the crusaders, after they left the land the maronite lords of Lehfed used it as residence. In 1810 the crossed vault structure took it’s current shape and was converted into a parochial church. The altar and the painting are imported from Italy with the help of the villagers who lived in Beirut at the end of the XIXth century. Blessed Stephen Nehme, the son of Lehfed, took the name of the Church's patron saint when he entered the monastic life.
