كنيسة سيّدة المعونات  - عين الخرّوبة الكنيسة الأولى مجهولة تاريخ البناء. في القرن الثامن عشر أعاد أهالي بناء كنيستهم القديمة التي كانت بخطر الإندثار وكانت هذه الكنيسة رعائيّة لكلّ القرى المجاورة. سنة ١٨٦٢ قرّر أهالي عين الخرّوبة توسيع الكنيسة لتُصبح رعيّتهم. لم يتمكّن أهل الرعيّة من إنهاء مشروعهم، إلى أن حدثت هذه الأعجوبة: يوم ذهب الشيخ ضاهر الجميّل إلى عكّار، فخطفه الحمّاديّين و سرقوه ورموه في الجرود ليموت، فنذر للعذراء لتُعينه، فنجّتهُ من الموت. عاد الأخير إلى بلدته وأكمل بناء العقد المُصالب فكان النجاز منه سنة ١٨٨٢ وكرّس الكنيسة المطران نعمة الله سلوان سنة ١٨٩٢. تضمّ الكنيسة مذبحًا مرمريًّا زهريًّا، كذلك أيقونة أمّ النور وهي أيقونة مارونيّة للراهب بطرس القبرصيّ تعود لسنة ١٧٢٦، ولوحةً للعذراء من عمل داوود القرم. The church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help -  Aïn el Kharroubeh The first church built on the site has an unknown history, records show that it was renovated in the XVIIIth century and became the parochial church for all the surrounding villages. In 1862 the people of Aïn el Kharroubeh decided to rebuild the church, yet many problems occurred leaving an unfinished structure. In the same year Sheikh Daher el Gemayel went to Akkar and was kidnapped by the Hammadis who stole him and left him stranded in the mountains to die. He then asked the Blessed Virgin to help him, and she miraculously saved him. He then went back to his village and completed the crossed vault in 1892. The church was reconsecrated by Mgr. Nematullah Selwan in 1892. The church’s altar is made with a beautiful pink marble stone. It holds a maronite icon called The Mother of Light by Fr. Boutros the Cypriot dating back to 1726, and a painting by Dawoud el Qorm.

محبسة مار سمعان العاموديّ وادي البواليع - عبيدات المحبسة عبارة عن تَجوِيفٍ مَحفُورٍ فِي الصَّخر، بِدَاخِله صُوَرٌ جُدرَانِيَّةٌ تعود إِلى القَرن الثَّاني عَشَر. مِن بَينِ هِﺬهِ الجُدرَانِيّات رَسمُ الشفاعة، وَكِتَابَةٌ سِرَيَانِيَّةٌ لَم يَبقَ منهَا
وَمِن الرُّسُومِ إلّا القَلِيل بِسَبَب عَوَامِل الطَّبِيعَة وَجَهل الإِنسَان.

يَتمُّ الصُعُودُ إِلَى غُرَفِ الدَّير بِوَاسِطة سَلَالِم خَشَبِيَّةٍ وَأُخرَى حَدِيدِيَّةٍ مُستَحدَثَةٍ.تُجَاوِرُ دَيرَ مَار سِمعَان كَنِيسَة
مَارت مُورَا، وَهِيَ عِبَارَةٌ عَن نَقرٍ في الصَخرِ.بحسب الخبراء جداريّات عبيدات تعودُ لراسم جداريّات كنيسة
مار تادرس بحديدات.

 


The hermitage of St Simeon the stylite in Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat The monastery is a hollowed-out cavity in the rock, containing frescoes dating back to the XIIth century. Among these wall paintings is the depiction of the deisis, as well as Syriac inscriptions, of which only a few remain due to natural factors and human ignorance. Access to the monastery's chambers is achieved through newly installed wooden and iron ladders. Adjacent to the Mar Simeon monastery is the St Moura's Church, which is a carved cave in the rock. According to experts, the wall paintings in 'Abeydat belong to the same artist who painted the wall paintings in the Mar Tadros Church in Behadidat.


La Ermita de San Simeón el estilita en Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat El monasterio es una cavidad excavada en la roca, que contiene frescos que datan del siglo XII. Entre estas pinturas murales se encuentra la representación de la deisis, así como inscripciones siríacas, de las cuales, debido a factores naturales y la ignorancia humana, solo quedan unas pocas. Para acceder a las cámaras del monasterio se utilizan las escaleras de hierro y madera recién instaladas. Colindante al monasterio de San Simeon se encuentra la iglesia de San Moura, que es una cueva tallada en la roca. Según los expertos, las pinturas murales de 'Abeydat pertenecen al mismo artista que pintó las pinturas murales de la iglesia de San Tadros en Behadidat

كنيسة مار بطرس وبولس - قرنة شهوان

شيّد أهالي قرنة شهوان كنيسةً بإسم الرسولين بطرس وبولس في أواخر القرن السابع عشر دفع معظم أكلافها الحاج مفرج غبريل، وكرّسها المطران الياس محاسب سنة ١٧٢٠. تجدّدت باتّفاق وتبرّعات سكان القرية عمومًا بسعي المطران بطرس الزغبي نحو سنة ١٩٠٨. تجدّد بناء الكنيسة عام ١٩١٢ في عهد الخوري إلياس زعرور كاهن الرعية، فأتت برسمها الباريسي آية قي الجمال والإبداع. سنة ١٩٩٦، رُممت الكنيسة و رُسمت الزجاجيات. الكنيسة بناء نيوغوطيّ الطراز.

The church of Sts. Peter and Paul - Cornet Chehwan

The church was built in the late 17th century, and the greater part of its expenses were covered by Hajj Moufarrej Ghobril. It was consecrated by Bishop Elias Mhaseb in 1720. Through the initiative of Fr. Elias Zaarour and the locals, it was rebuilt in 1912 and reconsecrated by Bishop Boutros el Zoghby. The church was reconstructed in a Neo-Gothic style with Parisian-inspired decorations. In 1996, it was renovated and stained glass windows were added.

كنيسة سيّدة المزار - الحجة

بُنيت الكنيسة أواخر القرن الثامن عشر مع قدوم المسيحيّين إلى البلدة، وكانت كنيستهم الأساسيّة. تعرّضت للسلب خلال أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. أُهملت الكنيسة بعد بناء كنيسة مار يوسف وسط البلدة، وأعيد ترميمها مؤخّرًا. الكنيسة مبنيّة بأسواقٍ ثلاث أفقيّة على نمط العليّة في البيت اللبنانيّ مسقوفة بالخشب وقد أُضيفت إليها قبّة صغيرة وقت الترميم.

The Church of Our Lady of Mzaar - El Hajje

The church is the original parochial church of the village, built during the late 18th century. It was sabotaged during the war of 1860 and remained abandoned after the construction of St. Joseph's Church in the village center. However, it has been recently restored. The structure of the church resembles that of a cenacle in a traditional Lebanese house, with three horizontal aisles. A dome was added to the structure during the restoration.
