كنيسة مار إدنا - عين عكرينتقوم كنيسة مار إدنا في خراج بلدة عين عِكرين. بنيت على عِدَّة مراحل على أنقاضٍ رومانيّة قديمة. فهي بسوقٍ واحدٍ بعقدٍ سريريّ يحتوي على حنيَّة مُكوَّرة، وثلاثة قناطر في الجدار الجنوبيّ. على الحائط الشماليّ، بقايا جِداريّة، تعود الى القرون الوسطى . في الكنيسة لوحة نادرة لمار إدنا مرسومة على النحاس، كما وجد في داخلها بقايا رومانيّة. ومار إدنا هو لقب سريانيّ لمار طراخونبوس وهو شهيد من القرن الثالث وشفيع الأذن.The church of St Edna - Aïn EkrinThe ancient church stands in the vicinity of Aïn Ekrin built several stages over roman ruins. It consist of one nave with a crib vault, ending with a semi circular apse. The southern wall consists of three arched windows. The church holds a rare icon of St Edna painted on copper, and many roman poteries. The church also holds a medieval fresco. Edna is a Syriac nickname given to St Trakhonios, a Third century martyr, and the patron saint of ears.

بُنيت الكنيسة بعد قدوم آل الكك الى دير القمر وتركهم بلدة دميت، وأُكمل البناء سنة ١٦٨٤. الكنيسة وقف لآل الكك، رُمّمت ووُسّعت على عدّة مراحل. تتميّز الكنيسة بمذبح مار أنطونيوس الكبير وهو ذكر من كنيسة دميت الأثريّة، وأيقونة مار جرجس الشهيد.

St. George’s church - Deir el Qamar

The church was built by the Kek family after they came to Deir el Qamar from Dmit, and completed in 1684. It is a private family chapel restored on many occasions. The church holds a side altar of St. Anthony the Great, reminiscent of the historic church in Dmit, and a local icon of St George.

دير مار جرجس الأحباش - وادي قنوبين

الدّير عبارة عن كهفٍ طبيعيٍّ يقع في وسط الجُرف الصخريّ ويضمُ كنيسةً ومدفنًا وبعض القلالي. يتمّ الوصول إليه عبر درجٍ من الحجارة المنحوتة. بنى الدّير رهبان مونوفيزيّين جاؤوا من الحبشة في القرن الثاني عشر بقصد التنسك. الكنيسة كناية عن تجويفٍ طبيعيًّ حُفرت حنيتها على شكل عقدٍ مكسورٍ مُليّسة بالكلس، ومزيّنة برسومٍ جداريّة ذات أشكال هندسيّة تنتمي لفنّ الكنيسة الحبشيّة. في الكنيسة كذلك مذبح مربّع الشكل.

The monastery of St George of the Abyssinians - the valley of Qannoubine

The monastery is a natural cave in a cliff consisting of a church, a necropolis and some cells. It is accessible trough a carved stair. The monastery was built by Jacobite monks from Abyssinia during the XIIth century. The church is a natural cave with a carved apse covered by limestone gypson with a geometrical motif fresco from the Ethiopian art tradition, the church also has a squared altar.
