كنيسة السيّدة الرعائيّة - العاقورةبنيت الكنيسة الأولى على أنقاض هيكلٍ رومانيّ كرّس للزهرة، أواسط القرن الخامس عشر، وكانت كنيسةً كبيرة حَوَت مكتبة مخطوطات مهمّة. رُممّت الكنيسة وجُدّدت عدّة مرّات لكنّ الكنيسة القديمة هُدُمت أواسط القرن العشرين لتبنى الكنيسة الحاليّة الأكبر. تحوي الكنيسة على بيت قربان رخاميّ من أثر الكنيسة القديمة، كذلك العديد من اللوحات المحليّة العائدة للقرنين السابع والثامن عشر.The Parish church of Our Lady - AqouraThe church was built over a roman temple dedicated to Venus, in the mid XVth century. The church had a rich manuscript library. It was restored many times, yet the old church was destroyed in the mid XXth century to make space for the new bigger church. The church holds the marble tabernacle of the old one and a collection of locally made paintings dating back to the XVIIth and XVIIIth century.

كنيسة سيّدة الحارة - زغرتا

في البدء كان البناءُ جزءًا من بيتٍ كبيرٍ لوقف زغرتا، استعمله الأهالي مستودعًا لأدوات البناء عندما حاول الزغرتاويّون بناء كاتدرائيّة سنة ١٨٩٩ في المكان القائمة فيه الآن كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان. ولمّا لم تتيسر الأموال لإتمام البناء، طلبت السيّدة آسة أرملة سليم بك كرم من الخوري سعاده حنا ديب سعاده أن يُستعمل هذا البيت معبدًا على اسم سيّدة الحارة، بعد الحصول على إذنٍ من البطريركيّة المارونيّة. رُممّت هذه الكنيسة مرارًا ووُسّعت وأُضيفت لها قبّة جرس. أُهملت الكنيسة بعد بناء كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان المحاذية لها. أُعيد تجديدها سنة ٢٠٠٠.

The church of our Lady of Hara - Zgharta

The building was originally a tool basement for a house owned by the parish of Zgharta. In 1899 after the failing to build a cathedral nearby due to the lack of funds, a local lady named Assa, who is the widow of Selim Bey Karam asked Fr. Saade Hanna Dib Saade to convert the structure into a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary after the approval of the Maronite Patriarch. The church was renewed many times and a bell tower was added. However, after the construction of St John’s church nearby it fell into disuse. It was finally renewed in the year 2000.

دير مار شلّيطا - تنوّرين الفوقا

من أقدم كنائس تنّورين، يرجّح البعض أن يكون البناء في الأصل هيكلاً وثنيًّا. الكنيسة مزدوجة بمذبحين: مار شليطا ومار جرجس، دلالة على أنّ الكنيسة تعود لأواسط العصر البيزنطيّ. دير مار شليطا يحوي نقوشًا مميّزة: صليب العاموديّين، الصليب الورديّ، والنجوم المثمّنة والمسدّسة. جرسها من عمل فارس النفّاع سنة ١٩٤٤. في الكنيسة لوحتين غير موقّعتين لمار جرجس ومار شليطا تعودا لما قبل القرن السادس عشر.

The monastery of St Challita - Tannourin el Fawka

It is one of the oldest churches in Tannourin, and used to be a pagan temple according to some sources. The double choir indicates that the structure dates back to the mid Byzantine era. The monastery of St Chalyta is finely built with rare encrypted geometric shapes on the apses : the rose cross, the cross of the stylite, the six and the eight pointed stars... The bell is done by of Fares el Nafah in 1944. In the church are two paintings for St Challita and St George dating back to the XVIth century and not signed.

كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان - زبدين

هي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة بُنيت سنة ١٨٨١. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية. شفيع الكنيسة هو مار يوحنّا المعمدان ويُحتفل بعيده يوم قطع رأسه في ٢٩ آب. تضم الكنيسة لوحةً تمثل حدث استشهاد يوحنّا المعمدان، ونقش على الباب بمثل عماد المسيح.

The church of St John - Zebdine

The church is Zebdine’s parrochial church, it was built in 1881. It consists of a cribbed vault. The church is dedicated to St John the Baptist and it commemorates him on the 29th of August the feast of his martyrdom. The church holds a painting depicting the martyrdom of St John and an ornate wooden door depicting the Theophany.
