كنيسة السيّدة الرعائيّة - العاقورةبنيت الكنيسة الأولى على أنقاض هيكلٍ رومانيّ كرّس للزهرة، أواسط القرن الخامس عشر، وكانت كنيسةً كبيرة حَوَت مكتبة مخطوطات مهمّة. رُممّت الكنيسة وجُدّدت عدّة مرّات لكنّ الكنيسة القديمة هُدُمت أواسط القرن العشرين لتبنى الكنيسة الحاليّة الأكبر. تحوي الكنيسة على بيت قربان رخاميّ من أثر الكنيسة القديمة، كذلك العديد من اللوحات المحليّة العائدة للقرنين السابع والثامن عشر.The Parish church of Our Lady - AqouraThe church was built over a roman temple dedicated to Venus, in the mid XVth century. The church had a rich manuscript library. It was restored many times, yet the old church was destroyed in the mid XXth century to make space for the new bigger church. The church holds the marble tabernacle of the old one and a collection of locally made paintings dating back to the XVIIth and XVIIIth century.

كنيسة مار أوسابيوس - عبيدات

بُنيت الكنيسة الحاليّة سنة ١٨٨٩ بسعي الخوري يوسف نصر فوق مقامِ أقدم كان بدوره بُني مكان هيكلٍ وثنيّ ما زالت آثاره ظاهرة في البناء: وهي كناية عن حجرٍ يحوي كتابة يونانيّة وبعض الأعمدة. أمّا تسمية الكنيسة مار أوسابيوس فنادرة لأن الموارنة غالبًا ما نادوه بلقبه السريانيّ حوشب. تشتهر الكنيسة بوجود جحر للنذورات، فمار اوسابيوس شفيع المصابين بالثآليل. تضم الكنيسة لوحة محليّة لمار حوشب مجهولة الراسم.

The church of St Eusebius - Obeidat

The current church was built in 1889 under the mandate of Fr. Youssef Naser over an older shrine, that was built over a pagan temple with some of its ruins still visible: some columns and an epitaph with greek inscriptions. The dedication of the church to St Eusebius is unique because the maronites usually call him by his Syriac attribute Hawsheb meaning the wise one. The church is famous for being a pilgrimage site for people with warts. The church holds a local icon of the saint drawn by an unknown painter.

هو نبعُ ماءٍ طبيعيّ بقربه آثار رومانيّة. هذه الآثار تحوّلت إلى كنيسةٍ وديرٍ في العهد البيزنطيّ، وحافظ المكان على الإسم الذي يشير إلى شهداء سبسطية الأربعون. "

The Fountain of the Forty Martyrs - Yammouneh"

The fountain is a natural water source. Near the source, the Romans built some structures that were later converted into a church and a monastery during the Byzantine era. The ruins of the buildings are still visible, and the place has retained its dedication to the forty martyrs of Sebastopolis.

كنيسة السيّدة الكبرى - بيت شباب

الكنيسة الحاليّة مبنيّة على أنقاض كنيستين: الأولى مجهولة تاريخ البناء وكانت صغيرة واطئة بنيت قرب مصب الينبوع وكانت قائمة في القرن السادس عشر، الثانية وكانت تُعرف بسيّدة الجوزة، بدأ بناؤها سنة ١٧٠٣ في مكانها الحاليّ. كرّسها في ١٠ أيّار سنة ١٧١٦ البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد، جلب لوحاتها من روما الخورأسقف يوسف السمعاني. سنة ١٩٠٣ بوشر بناء الكنيسة الحاليّة، وهي بازيليكيّة الطراز بثلاث أسواق وعقدٍ بغداديّ، تحوي خمس مذابح رخاميّة. كرّسها سنة ١٩٤٠ الخورأسقف يوسف الحايك. رمّمت الكنيسة عدّة مرّات. وهي أكبر كنيسة في بيت شباب تشتهر بأبراج أجراسها.

The church of our Lady the Major - Beit Shabab

The current church was built over two older churches. The first one was built near the village’s water fountain, its history is unknown, yet it was in use during the XVIth century. The second one was in the current place, it was known as our Lady of the Walnut tree. Construction began in 1703 and it was consecrated by Patriarch Yaaqoub Awad on the 10th of May 1716. The paintings of the church were brought from Rome by Mgr Youssef el Semaani. The current church was built in 1903, it is a basilical structure with three naves and five marble altars. It was consecrated in 1940 by Mgr Youssef el Hayek. The church underwent many restorations, it is famous for the three bell towers on its facade
