كنيسة السيّدة الرعائيّة - العاقورةبنيت الكنيسة الأولى على أنقاض هيكلٍ رومانيّ كرّس للزهرة، أواسط القرن الخامس عشر، وكانت كنيسةً كبيرة حَوَت مكتبة مخطوطات مهمّة. رُممّت الكنيسة وجُدّدت عدّة مرّات لكنّ الكنيسة القديمة هُدُمت أواسط القرن العشرين لتبنى الكنيسة الحاليّة الأكبر. تحوي الكنيسة على بيت قربان رخاميّ من أثر الكنيسة القديمة، كذلك العديد من اللوحات المحليّة العائدة للقرنين السابع والثامن عشر.The Parish church of Our Lady - AqouraThe church was built over a roman temple dedicated to Venus, in the mid XVth century. The church had a rich manuscript library. It was restored many times, yet the old church was destroyed in the mid XXth century to make space for the new bigger church. The church holds the marble tabernacle of the old one and a collection of locally made paintings dating back to the XVIIth and XVIIIth century.

أنطوش سيّدة النجاة - المينا

بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى للموارنة في مدينة الميناء أوائل القرن التاسع عشر، وكانت قبوًا مُعتمًا تحت الأرض. كانت الرعيّة آنذاك فقيرة جدًّا وعُهدت خدمتها للرهبان الأنطونيّين، فكان طعام خادم الرعيّة يصله من دير مار سركيس وباخوس إهدن. سنة ١٨٥٠ بُني الأنطوش، وسنة ١٨٨٩ كرّس المطران أسطفان عوّاد الكنيسة الحاليّة، فكان بناؤها بشكل عقدٍ مُصالب بحجرٍ رمليّ. رُمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين.

The presbytery of Our Lady of Deliverance - El Mina

The first maronite church was built in the Mina in the beginning of the XIXth century. It was then a small underground cellar. The parish was really poor, it was entrusted to an Antonine monk who’s food was brought from the monastery of Sts Sergius and Bacchus Ehden. In 1850 the presbytery was built, and in 1889 the current church was consecrated by Mgr. Estefan Awad Archbishop of Tripoli. The structure is a sandstone crossed vault, restored in the latter half of the XXth century.

كنيسة مار أنطونيوس الكبير - الزغرين

سنة ١٨٧٦ طلب الرهبان الحلبيّين في دير مار الياس شويّا من المطران يوسف جعجع بناء كنيسةٍ لشركائهم، فأذن لهم وبنوا الكنيسة سنة ١٨٧٧. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب ينتهي بحنية. تضم الكنيسة لوحتين تعودان لأواخر القرن التاسع عشر: مار يوسف من عمل كنعان ديب، ومار أنطونيوس الكبير من عمل داوود القرم.

The church of St Anthony the Great - Zaghrine

In 1876 the Aleppan monks living in the monastery of St Elias Shwaya asked Mgr Youssef Geagea a permission to build a church for their monastery’s surfs living in Zeghrine. After the permission was given, construction began and ended a year later. The church is a cross vaulted structure. It holds two paintings from the end of the XIXth century: St Joseph by Kanaan Dib and St Anthony by Daoud el Qorm.

دير مار بطرس وبولس - عشقوت

بنى البطريرك بولس مسعد الدّير في النصف الثاني من القرن التاسع عشر، وجعله مركزًا بطريركيًّا له إبّان حبريته. استقدم للكنيسة تمثالين رخاميّين والأواني من روما، مع مجموعة من اللوحات الصغيرة. أمّا اللوحة الكبيرة فوق المذبح وسط الكنيسة، فهي من عمل داود القرم. بعد وفاته، دُفن البطريرك في الكنيسة، وأوقف الدّير لعائلة مسعد. تحوّل في فترةٍ من الزمن إلى مدرسة، والآن يخوض عمليّة ترميم لإبراز قيمته التاريخيّة.

The monastery of Sts Peter and Paul - Ashkout

The monastery was built in the second part of the XIXth century by patriarch Boulos Massaad, and he resided in it during his pontificate. The patriarch acquired for the church two roman marble statues of Sts Peter and Paul, and many paintings. The great painting over the high altar is by Dawoud El Qorm. After the death of the patriarch the monastery became in the possession of the Masaad family, it was converted into a school for a while and now it is undergoing a restoration plan to bring out the historical value of the place.
