كنيسة السيّدة الرعائيّة - العاقورةبنيت الكنيسة الأولى على أنقاض هيكلٍ رومانيّ كرّس للزهرة، أواسط القرن الخامس عشر، وكانت كنيسةً كبيرة حَوَت مكتبة مخطوطات مهمّة. رُممّت الكنيسة وجُدّدت عدّة مرّات لكنّ الكنيسة القديمة هُدُمت أواسط القرن العشرين لتبنى الكنيسة الحاليّة الأكبر. تحوي الكنيسة على بيت قربان رخاميّ من أثر الكنيسة القديمة، كذلك العديد من اللوحات المحليّة العائدة للقرنين السابع والثامن عشر.The Parish church of Our Lady - AqouraThe church was built over a roman temple dedicated to Venus, in the mid XVth century. The church had a rich manuscript library. It was restored many times, yet the old church was destroyed in the mid XXth century to make space for the new bigger church. The church holds the marble tabernacle of the old one and a collection of locally made paintings dating back to the XVIIth and XVIIIth century.

سنة ١٨٠٩ في عهد الأب العام سمعان الخازن، أوقف أهالي بلدَتي بان وكفرصعاب عقارات للرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة بغية إنشاء مدرسة لتعليم أبناء البلدة. تحوّلت في ستينيّات القرن العشرين الى ديرِ قانونيّ. تحوي الكنيسة بيت قربان خشبيّ مذهّب ومذخّرين رومانيّين، ثلاث لوحات غربيّة الصنع، ولوحتين مشرقيّتين للعائلة المقدّسة ومار أفرام من القرن التاسع عشر.

The monastery of St Joseph - Ban

In 1809 during the mandate of Abbot Simon el Khazen, the villagers of Ban and Kfarsghab donated land to the Lebanese Maronite Order to build a school. During the sixties the school was converted into a canonical monastery. The church holds a gilded wooden tabernacle with two reliquaries, three western paintings, and two local XIXth century ones of The holy family and St Ephrem.

كنيسة مار إسطفانوس رئيس الشمامسة وأوّل الشهداء - بحديدات
هي بقايا لكنيسةٍ أثريّةٍ مكرّسة على اسم مار إسطفانوس، بُنيت على أنقاض رومانيّة أواسط القرن الثاني أو الثالث عشر. تتميّز بشكلها الدائريّ.

The ruins of St Stephen’s church in Bhdeidat belong to and old medieval church that dates back to the twelfth or thirteenth century. The church is built on top of roman ruins, and it is unique with its rotunda shape

دير مار شلّيطا - تنوّرين الفوقا

من أقدم كنائس تنّورين، يرجّح البعض أن يكون البناء في الأصل هيكلاً وثنيًّا. الكنيسة مزدوجة بمذبحين: مار شليطا ومار جرجس، دلالة على أنّ الكنيسة تعود لأواسط العصر البيزنطيّ. دير مار شليطا يحوي نقوشًا مميّزة: صليب العاموديّين، الصليب الورديّ، والنجوم المثمّنة والمسدّسة. جرسها من عمل فارس النفّاع سنة ١٩٤٤. في الكنيسة لوحتين غير موقّعتين لمار جرجس ومار شليطا تعودا لما قبل القرن السادس عشر.

The monastery of St Challita - Tannourin el Fawka

It is one of the oldest churches in Tannourin, and used to be a pagan temple according to some sources. The double choir indicates that the structure dates back to the mid Byzantine era. The monastery of St Chalyta is finely built with rare encrypted geometric shapes on the apses : the rose cross, the cross of the stylite, the six and the eight pointed stars... The bell is done by of Fares el Nafah in 1944. In the church are two paintings for St Challita and St George dating back to the XVIth century and not signed.
