كنيسة السيّدة الرعائيّة - العاقورةبنيت الكنيسة الأولى على أنقاض هيكلٍ رومانيّ كرّس للزهرة، أواسط القرن الخامس عشر، وكانت كنيسةً كبيرة حَوَت مكتبة مخطوطات مهمّة. رُممّت الكنيسة وجُدّدت عدّة مرّات لكنّ الكنيسة القديمة هُدُمت أواسط القرن العشرين لتبنى الكنيسة الحاليّة الأكبر. تحوي الكنيسة على بيت قربان رخاميّ من أثر الكنيسة القديمة، كذلك العديد من اللوحات المحليّة العائدة للقرنين السابع والثامن عشر.The Parish church of Our Lady - AqouraThe church was built over a roman temple dedicated to Venus, in the mid XVth century. The church had a rich manuscript library. It was restored many times, yet the old church was destroyed in the mid XXth century to make space for the new bigger church. The church holds the marble tabernacle of the old one and a collection of locally made paintings dating back to the XVIIth and XVIIIth century.

كنيسة مار نوهرا - بقرقاشا

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٠٩ في عهد البطريرك الياس بطرس الحويك، لتصبح الكنيسة الرعائيّة لضيق الكنيسة القديمة. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ، بنتهي بحنية وثلاث مذابح: مار نوهرا والسيّدة ومار يوسف. في وسط الكنيسة مذبح لمار جرجس. الكنيسة محافظة على طابعها الأوّل وهي تمثل فنّ أوائل القرن العشرين. للكنيسة مدخلين مزخرفين للرجال والنساء. تضم الكنيسة عددًا من اللوحات أهمّها لمار نوهرا وهي محليّة الصنع.

The church of St Nouhra - Bqorqasha

The church of St Nouhra (Logius the martyr) was built in 1909 during the pontificate of patriarch Elias Boutros El Howayek, after the local parish became too small for the community. The structure consists of a crossed vault ending with three altars: St Nouhra, the Madonna, and St Joseph. In the middle of the church stands a side altar dedicated to St George. The church conserves the original decor of the early XXth century. The church has two ornamented entrances to separate men and women’s seating places. It also holds many paintings the most important being a local icon of Saint Nouhra.

دير مار ضومط للآباء الكرمليّين - القبيات

بذأت زسالة الآباء الكرمليّين في القبيّات أوائل القرن التاسع عشر. سنة ١٨٣٥، بدؤا بناء ديرهم، بعد ان أوقف لهم الارض جبّور سيف حبيش. كان في تلك الأرض آثار كنيسةِ لمار ضومط، والعديد من الآثار التي بيعت لبناء الكنيسة الجديدة. بّنيت الكنيسة بشكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٨٥٢، وجدّدت على الطراز النبو غوطي سنة ١٩١٤. لعب الدّير دورًا هامًا في تاريخ البلدة خصوصًا أنّه ضمّ مدرسةً لتعليم الأحداث.

The monastery of St Doumit of the Carmelite fathers - Kobayyat

The Carmelite mission in the region of Kobayyat began in the dawn of the XIXth century. In 1935 Jabbour Seif Hobeich donated a piece of land to build a monastery. In this land where a ruined church dedicated to St Doumit and lots of ancient artifacts that where sold to museums to build the monastery. In 1852 the current church was built, and it 1914 it was remodeled with a neo gothic style. The monastery played an important role in the community”s history specially on the educational level with the famous Carmelite school.

كنيسة مار أنطونيوس الكبير - الزغرين

سنة ١٨٧٦ طلب الرهبان الحلبيّين في دير مار الياس شويّا من المطران يوسف جعجع بناء كنيسةٍ لشركائهم، فأذن لهم وبنوا الكنيسة سنة ١٨٧٧. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب ينتهي بحنية. تضم الكنيسة لوحتين تعودان لأواخر القرن التاسع عشر: مار يوسف من عمل كنعان ديب، ومار أنطونيوس الكبير من عمل داوود القرم.

The church of St Anthony the Great - Zaghrine

In 1876 the Aleppan monks living in the monastery of St Elias Shwaya asked Mgr Youssef Geagea a permission to build a church for their monastery’s surfs living in Zeghrine. After the permission was given, construction began and ended a year later. The church is a cross vaulted structure. It holds two paintings from the end of the XIXth century: St Joseph by Kanaan Dib and St Anthony by Daoud el Qorm.
