كنيسة السيّدة الرعائيّة - العاقورةبنيت الكنيسة الأولى على أنقاض هيكلٍ رومانيّ كرّس للزهرة، أواسط القرن الخامس عشر، وكانت كنيسةً كبيرة حَوَت مكتبة مخطوطات مهمّة. رُممّت الكنيسة وجُدّدت عدّة مرّات لكنّ الكنيسة القديمة هُدُمت أواسط القرن العشرين لتبنى الكنيسة الحاليّة الأكبر. تحوي الكنيسة على بيت قربان رخاميّ من أثر الكنيسة القديمة، كذلك العديد من اللوحات المحليّة العائدة للقرنين السابع والثامن عشر.The Parish church of Our Lady - AqouraThe church was built over a roman temple dedicated to Venus, in the mid XVth century. The church had a rich manuscript library. It was restored many times, yet the old church was destroyed in the mid XXth century to make space for the new bigger church. The church holds the marble tabernacle of the old one and a collection of locally made paintings dating back to the XVIIth and XVIIIth century.

كنيسة مار إدنا - عين عكرين

تقوم كنيسة مار إدنا في خراج بلدة عين عِكرين. بنيت على عِدَّة مراحل على أنقاضٍ رومانيّة قديمة. فهي بسوقٍ واحدٍ بعقدٍ سريريّ يحتوي على حنيَّة مُكوَّرة، وثلاثة قناطر في الجدار الجنوبيّ. على الحائط الشماليّ، بقايا جِداريّة، تعود الى القرون الوسطى . في الكنيسة لوحة نادرة لمار إدنا مرسومة على النحاس، كما وجد في داخلها بقايا رومانيّة. ومار إدنا هو لقب سريانيّ لمار طراخونبوس وهو شهيد من القرن الثالث وشفيع الأذن.

The church of St Edna - Aïn Ekrin

The ancient church stands in the vicinity of Aïn Ekrin built several stages over roman ruins. It consist of one nave with a crib vault, ending with a semi circular apse. The southern wall consists of three arched windows. The church holds a rare icon of St Edna painted on copper, and many roman poteries. The church also holds a medieval fresco. Edna is a Syriac nickname given to St Trakhonios, a Third century martyr, and the patron saint of ears.

بُنيت الكنيسة أواخر القرن الثامن عشر مع قدوم المسيحيّين إلى البلدة، وكانت كنيستهم الأساسيّة. تعرّضت للسلب خلال أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. أُهملت الكنيسة بعد بناء كنيسة مار يوسف وسط البلدة، وأعيد ترميمها مؤخّرًا. الكنيسة مبنيّة بأسواقٍ ثلاث أفقيّة على نمط العليّة في البيت اللبنانيّ مسقوفة بالخشب وقد أُضيفت إليها قبّة صغيرة وقت الترميم.

The Church of Our Lady of Mzaar - El Hajje

The church is the original parochial church of the village, built during the late 18th century. It was sabotaged during the war of 1860 and remained abandoned after the construction of St. Joseph's Church in the village center. However, it has been recently restored. The structure of the church resembles that of a cenacle in a traditional Lebanese house, with three horizontal aisles. A dome was added to the structure during the restoration.

دير سيّدة البزاز - ساحل علما

بنى الدّير الشيخ عاد صخر الخازن سنة ١٧٢٠ وجعله للراهبات العابدات. واتّبعت عابداته قانون الراهبة هنديّة قبل إلغاء رهبانيّتها. بقي الدّير حتّى منتصف القرن العشرين يضمّ بنات وأرامل العائلة الخازنيّة اللواتي خصّصن حياتهنّ للصلاة. واليوم هو وقفٌ خاص للعائلة. كنيسته صغيرة بعقدٍ مصالب، تضمّ لوحة العذراء المُرضعة وهي رومانيّة المصدر.

The monastery of Our Lady of the milk - Sahel Alma

The monastery was built by Sheikh Aad Sakher el Khazen in 1720, who gave it to the cloistered nuns that followed the rules of Mother Hendiyé Ajaimi before her order was dissolved. The monastery housed until the mid XXth century the daughters and the widows of the Khazen family who consecrated their lives to religion. The monastery is now a private possession of the Khazen family. The church is a crossed vault structure holding a roman painting depicting the blessed mother feeding the Lord.
