كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان - كفركخلي عمشيت بُنيت كنيسة أولى في الموضع سنة ١٧٥٠ على اسم مار روحانا. أواخر القرن التاسع عشر وُسِّعت على شكل عقدٍ مُصالبٍ وكُرّست على اسم مار يوحنّا المعمدان لتُصبح كنيسةً رعائيّة. تضمّ الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات محليّة الصنع: عماد المسيح، مار روحانا ومار يوسف. The church of St John the Baptist - Kfarkekhly Amchit The first church was built in 1750 and dedicated to St Rouhana. The current large crossed vaulted structure was built in the late XIXth century and dedicated to St John the Baptist as a parochial church. The church holds three locally made paintings: The Theophany, St Rouhana, St Joseph.

كنيسة السيّدة الرعائيّة - العاقورة

بنيت الكنيسة الأولى على أنقاض هيكلٍ رومانيّ كرّس للزهرة، أواسط القرن الخامس عشر، وكانت كنيسةً كبيرة حَوَت مكتبة مخطوطات مهمّة. رُممّت الكنيسة وجُدّدت عدّة مرّات لكنّ الكنيسة القديمة هُدُمت أواسط القرن العشرين لتبنى الكنيسة الحاليّة الأكبر. تحوي الكنيسة على بيت قربان رخاميّ من أثر الكنيسة القديمة، كذلك العديد من اللوحات المحليّة العائدة للقرنين السابع والثامن عشر.

The Parish church of Our Lady - Aqoura

The church was built over a roman temple dedicated to Venus, in the mid XVth century. The church had a rich manuscript library. It was restored many times, yet the old church was destroyed in the mid XXth century to make space for the new bigger church. The church holds the marble tabernacle of the old one and a collection of locally made paintings dating back to the XVIIth and XVIIIth century.

محبسة مار بهنام - وادي حدشيت قنوبين

محبسة قديمة من القرن الثالث عشر، وهي قبو بعقد سريريّ وثلاث حنايا. تحتوي المحبسة على بقايا رسم جداريّ وكتابةً سريانيّة، ومذبح مصنوع حجريّ. أمّا مار بهنام فهو أميرٌ فارسٌ من بلاد ما بين النهرين، ترك كلّ ما له وفضّل الإستشهاد في سبيل المسيح على ترك إيمانه، نال إكليل الشهادة في القرن الرابع. واتصلت شفاعته بالموارنة من خلال الرهبان اليعاقبة في شمال لبنان.

The hermitage of St Bahnam - The valley of Hasdshit Qannoubine

It is an old XIIIth century hermitage, that consists of a single crib vault ending with three apses, with a stone altar, fresco remains and Syriac calligraphy. St Bahnam was a prince from Assyria, who preferred to leave his privileged life for the love of Christ, and he preferred martyrdom over recanting his Christian faith in the IVth century. He was made known to the Maronites by the Jacobite monks of Northern Mount Lebanon.

كنيسة سيّدة الإنتقال - تنورين الفوقا

بُنيت هذه الكنيسة على أنقاض كنيسة أقدم تعود للقرن الثامن. بوشر البناء سنة ١٨٧٠ وتمّ سنة ١٩٢١ فكانت أكبر كنيسة في لبنان آنذاك. رُمّمت سنة ١٩٧٩ وأظهر الترميم العقد المصنوع من خشب الأرز. سنة ١٩٩٦ إستُقدمت الساعة من إيطاليا.

The church of Our Lady of Assumption - Tannourin el Fawqa

The church was built over an older church dating back to the VIIIth century. The construction began from 1870 until 1921, becoming the biggest church in Lebanon at that time. The church was restored in 1979 and the cedar wood roof was revealed. A bell tower imported from italy was added to the structure in 1996.
