كنيسة القدّيسة بربارة - عمشيت كُرّست الكنيسة سنة ١٨٤٧، وهي بالأصل بقايا معبدٍ رومانيّ. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ سريريّ. وُسّعت سنة ١٩٠٤ ورُمّمت سنة ١٩٨٨. تضمّ أيقونةً أثريّة محليّة للشهيدة بربارة. وبقرب الكنيسة ثلاث آبار لعائلات عمشيت الثلاث التي قدمت أوّلاً إلى البلدة The church of St Barbra - Amshit The structure served as a roman temple, it was consecrated in 1847. The church is a crib vault, it was enlarged in 1904 and restored in 1988. The church holds a local icon for the martyr. Near the church are three wells for the three families that came first to Amshyt.

كنيسة السيّدة - بقرقاشا

البناء الحاليّ يعود لسنة ١٨١٠، وبالأصل هو ديرٌ قديمٌ مبنيٌّ على اسم مار نوهرا. عندما بنيت الكنيسة الرعائيّة الكبيرة أوائل القرن العشرين، تحوّلت هذه الكنيسة لشفاعة السيّدة. يتألف البناء من عقدٍ مُصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة. رمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠١٩. لوحة السيّدة، أيقونةٌ محليّة الصنع غير موقّعة، تعود لمدرسة القرن السادس عشر.

The church of our Lady - Bqorqasha

The current church dates back to 1810. It was originally dedicated to St Nohra (Logius). When the current parish church was built in the beginning of the XXth century, this church was dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The structure consists of an arched vault with a semi circular apse. The church was restored in 2019. It holds a local icon of the virgin dating back to the XVIth century.

دير مار جرجس الأحباش - وادي قنوبين

الدّير عبارة عن كهفٍ طبيعيٍّ يقع في وسط الجُرف الصخريّ ويضمُ كنيسةً ومدفنًا وبعض القلالي. يتمّ الوصول إليه عبر درجٍ من الحجارة المنحوتة. بنى الدّير رهبان مونوفيزيّين جاؤوا من الحبشة في القرن الثاني عشر بقصد التنسك. الكنيسة كناية عن تجويفٍ طبيعيًّ حُفرت حنيتها على شكل عقدٍ مكسورٍ مُليّسة بالكلس، ومزيّنة برسومٍ جداريّة ذات أشكال هندسيّة تنتمي لفنّ الكنيسة الحبشيّة. في الكنيسة كذلك مذبح مربّع الشكل.

The monastery of St George of the Abyssinians - the valley of Qannoubine

The monastery is a natural cave in a cliff consisting of a church, a necropolis and some cells. It is accessible trough a carved stair. The monastery was built by Jacobite monks from Abyssinia during the XIIth century. The church is a natural cave with a carved apse covered by limestone gypson with a geometrical motif fresco from the Ethiopian art tradition, the church also has a squared altar.

كنيسة سيّدة المعونات - المعلّقة زحلة

الكنيسة قديمة العهد، تاريخ بنائها مجهولٌ. تعرّضت للتخريب في أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. رمّمت من بعدها. بعد الحرب العالميّة الأولى أخذت الكنيسة شكلها الحاليّ: نمط بازيليكيّ بعقدٍ مصالب وسوقٍ واحد بواجهة حجرٍ مقصوبٍ مزخرف. نضمّ الكنيسة ثلاث مذابح من المرمر تعود لسنة ١٩٣٠: السيّدة، مار يوسف ومار يوحنّا مارون. رمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠٠٨. تضمّ الكنيسة مدفن موسى بك نموّر رئيس مجلس النوّاب الأسيق.

The church of our Lady of Perpetual Help - Maalaka Zahle

The church”s year of construction is unknown, it was sabotaged during the war of 1860. The church took it’s current form after World War I : a basilical plan with one nave and a grand ornate facade on the western side. The church holds three marble altars dedicated to the Assumption, St Joseph, St John Maroun. The church was restored in 2008, and it enshrines the tomb of the late lebanese speaker of the parliament Moussa Bey Nammour.
