كنيسة القدّيسة بربارة - عمشيت كُرّست الكنيسة سنة ١٨٤٧، وهي بالأصل بقايا معبدٍ رومانيّ. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ سريريّ. وُسّعت سنة ١٩٠٤ ورُمّمت سنة ١٩٨٨. تضمّ أيقونةً أثريّة محليّة للشهيدة بربارة. وبقرب الكنيسة ثلاث آبار لعائلات عمشيت الثلاث التي قدمت أوّلاً إلى البلدة The church of St Barbra - Amshit The structure served as a roman temple, it was consecrated in 1847. The church is a crib vault, it was enlarged in 1904 and restored in 1988. The church holds a local icon for the martyr. Near the church are three wells for the three families that came first to Amshyt.

كاتدرائيّة مار الياس المارونيّة صيدا
بناها المطران أغوسطينوس البستاني على إسم شفيع المدينة مار الياس الحيّ، لتكون كرسيًّا رسميًّا له في المتروبوليّة. وكان ذلك سنة ١٩٣٨. يَذكر الكتاب المقدّس أنّ مار الباس مرّ في صيدا وهي جزء من الأراضي المقدّسة وعلى اسمه أربع كنائس مارونيّة في المدينة. الكنيسة مبنيّة على النمط البازيليكيّ، لوحة الحنية من رسم الفنان اسعد رنّو. تعرّضت للحرق ابان الحرب الأهليّة سنة ١٩٨١. وأُعيد ترميمها مؤخّرًا سنة ٢٠١٧. من أبرز ما تحويه ذخيرة عود الصليب التي حملها مطران صيدا مار انطونيوس خريش (البطريرك لاحقًا) على إثر المجمع الفاتيكاني الثاني.

St Elijah’s Maronite Cathedral Sidon.
It was built during the mandate of archbishop Augustin El Boustany, and was dedicated to Elijah the prophet patron saint of the city, to become the bishop's official new cathedral in the metropolitan city. It was built in 1838 in a basilical plan. The Old Testament states the visit of the prophet to the city. That explains the presence of four churches dedicatd to him in the city. The main painting in the apse is the work of the Lebanese painter Assaad Renno.
The cathedral was burnt down during the civil war in 1981, and finally restored in 2017. Its most prized treasure is the Holy Cross relic brought back from the Second Vatican Council by Archbishop Antonios Khoraish (Later Maronite Patriarch).

دير مار حوشب - لحفد

دير مار حوشب يقع شرقيّ البلدة. وهو عِبارة عن كَهف في الشير المُسمَّى شير العاميّة. بُنيَ الدير في القَرن الثاني عشر، إذ اختار البطريرك يوحنا اللِحفِدي أحد أساقفته الأربعة للإقامة فيه. وللدّير ثلاث صوامع متعلقة به وهي اليوم آثار.

The monastery of St Eusabius of Caesarea - Lehfed

The monastery is located in the eastern side of the village, like the old monasteries of the Qadisha valley. It is a cave inside a cliff called El Aamlyeh. The monastery dates back to the XIIth century, when Patriarch John of Lehfed appointed one of his four bishops as it’s head.

أنطش مار يوسف - بسكنتا

سنة ١٧٧٠ بدأ أهالي بسكنتا ببناء كنيسة على إسم القدِّيس يوسف، لكنّ البناء تعثّر. فكان ذلك سببًا لدعوة الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيَّة إلى تسلُّمها، سنة ١٧٧١، بناءً على طلب الأهالي. مقابل ذلك، كان على الرهبانيَّة أن تنشئ مدرسةً لتعليم الأحداث وإرشاد القريب في الأمور الروحيَّة. أتمَّت الرهبانيَّة، سنة ١٧٧٦، تشييد الكنيسة، وأنشأت مدرسةً على اسم القدِّيس يوسف، فكانت أقدم مدرسةٍ في بسكنتا، تهتمُّ بتعليم الأولاد مبادئ الدين والأخلاق، واللغتَين السريانيَّة والعربيَّة.

The presbytery of St Joseph - Baskinta

In 1770 the locals of Baskinta began building a church dedicated to St Joseph, yet due to the lack of funds, they decided to hand the church to the Lebanese Maronite Order. The agreement was settled in 1771 and a school to teach the children and provide spiritual guidance was erected by the order. In 1776 the church was dedicated and the first Baskintan school opened providing a program that teaches Syriac, Arabic, Morals, and Catechism.
