كنيسة مار زخيا القديمة - عجلتون بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى سنة ١٦٧٢، وكرّسها البطريرك إسطفان الدويهيّ. سنة ١٨٢٨ كانت الكنيسة أصبحت ضيّقة، فأُخذت جحارتها، بالإضافة إلى حجارة كنيسةٍ قديمةٍ مهجورةٍ على اسم مار عبدا، كانت تخصّ آل الشمالي قبل نزوحهم إلى بلدة سهيلة. كان البناء بسعي الخوري نقولا صفير. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب ينتهي بحنية. تضمّ أربعة مذابح: مار زخيا، السيّدة، القلب الأقدس، مار يوسف. الكنيسة تحافظ على طابعها الأصليّ بنقوشها وزخرفتها الملوّنة والأشكال الهندسيّة على الجدران والأسقف. The church of St Zakhia (St Nicolas) - Ajaltoun The first church was built in 1672, and dedicated by Patriarch Estefan el Douwaihy. In 1828 the church became too small for the increasing number of villagers. With the help of Fr Nkoula Sfeir, two old churches were dismantled: the old St Zakhia and an old ruined chapel dedicated to St Abda that belonged to the Chemaly family that moved to Shaileh. The stones were used to build the new church. The structure is a crossed vault, with four altars: St Zakhia, the Madonna, the Sacred Heart, and St Joseph. The church still conserves its original decorum with colored floral motifs and arabesques.

بنى الموارنة كنيستهم الأولى في معراب على أنقاض هيكل رومانيّ وثنيّ. خُرّبت هذه الكنيسة الأولى مع حملة المماليك على كسروان سنة ١٣٠٥. أعاد أبناء البلدة بناء الكنيسة على إسم ما باسيليوس وغريغوريوس، وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٨٨٥. في هذه الكنيسة يرقد على رجاء القيامة المطران بولس فؤاد نعيم تابت (١٩٢٩-٢٠٠٩) وهو أوّل سفير بابويّ مارونيّ لبنانيّ.


The first church was built by the Maronites over a roman pagan temple. The church was destroyed during the Mamluk’s campaign on Keserwan in 1305. After their return, the villagers reconstructed the church and it was consecrated to Sts Basil and Gregory. It took its final shape in 1885. The church is the final resting place of Bishop Paul Fouad Naim Tabet (1929-2009), the first Lebanese Maronite Papal nuncio

كنيسة سيّدة الورديّة - حراجل

عام ١٧٢٢، بُنيَت كنيسة سيّدة الورديَّة على أنقاض معبدٍ وثنيّ. وفي العام ١٨٢١، بُنيَت كنيسةٌ أكبر حول الكنيسة القديمة. ولـمّا انتهى البناء هُدمَت الكنيسة القديمة، وكان ذلك في العام ١٨٦٢. العام ١٩٥٥ وُسِّعت الكنيسة وأُضيف عليها قسمٌ جديدٌ وأصبَحَتْ على ما هي عليه اليوم. اللوحة التصويريّة من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي.

The church of Our Lady of the Rosary - Hrajel

In 1722 the first church was built over the ruins of a pagan temple. In 1821 a bigger structure surrounded the old church and totally replaced it in 1862. In 1955 the church took its final form. The painting over the main altar is the work of Kanaan Dib.

دير سيّدة المعونات رام بو دقن - سهيلة

سنة ١٧٦٧ بنى المطران مخايل بن الشيخ ابا نادر الخازن ديرًا على اسم سيّدة المعونات في محلّة رام بو دقن، ليصبح مقرًّا لإقامته. بعد وفاته تحوّل الدّير إلى وقفيّة ذريّة لمشايخ آل الخازن. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة، سقفها مزيّن بالنقوش على الجصّ. لوحات الكنيسة من عمل الخوري موسى ديب الدلبتاوي.

The monastery of Our Lady of Perpetual help Ram Bou Daqn - Sheile

The monastery was built in 1767 by bishop Michael son of Sheikh Aba Nader el Khazen, in Ram Bou Daqn to become his episcopal residence. After his death the monastery became a private domain for the Khazen family. The church consists of a crossed vault ending in a semi circular apse with a ceiling covered with arabesque. The church holds paintings by Fr Moussa Dib from Dlebta.
