بُنيت الكنيسة القديمة سنة ١٧٩٧، وهي من أقدم رعايا أعالي كسروان، تحوي ثلاث لوحات مهمّة: مار يوحنّا لداود القرم، السيّدة والطفل لحبيب سرور، ومار يوسف لكنعان ديب. بقربها بُنيت الكنيسة الجديدة في ١٤ أيلول سنة ١٩٨٤.The church was built in 1797, and it is one of the oldest churches in the mountains of Keserwan. It holds three paintings: The Baptism of Jesus for Dawoud al Qorm, the Madona for Habib Srour, St Joseph for Kanaan Dib. Near the old church a new one erected and was consecrated on the 14th of September 1984.

كنيسة مار مارون - حياطة

بنى أهالي الحياطة كنيسة مار مارون وهي على شكل عقدٍ مصالب سنة ١٨٨٠. كرّسها المطران يوحنّا الحاج (البطريرك لاحقًا)، وقد أوحى وجه هذا الأسقف الفنّان حبيب سرور ليرسم لوحة مار مارون برصانته. تضمّ الكنيسة لوحة البشارة للخوري موسى ديب الدلبتاوي. رمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠٠٨.

The Church of St Maroun - Haiyatah

The villagers constructed the parish church of St Maroun in 1880. The structure is a cross-vault building. It was consecrated by Bishop Youhanna El Hage (later Patriarch) whose face, due to his serenity, served as a model for that of St Maroun when the painting was created by Habib Srour. The church also features an Annunciation painting by Fr Moussa Dib from Dlebta. The church underwent restoration in 2008.

كنيسة مار لابي الرسول - حصرون

بحسب أحد التقاليد بنى الملك حصرائيم (الذي منه اسم بلدة حصرون) قصرًا وهيكلًا في هذا الموضع تحوّل في الجيل الرابع إلى كنيسةٍ على اسم مار لابي وهو اللقب السريانيّ ليهوذا الرسول. بني القسم الشرقيّ من الكنيسة في القرن الثالث عشر، وأضيف سنة ١٧٧٠ القسم الغربيّ. أخذت الكنيسة شكلها مع الصليبيّين، وهي عقد سريريّ منخفض بحنية واحدة. تضمّ الكنيسة مجموعةً من اللوحات التي تعود للقرن الثامن عشر وهي مزيج بين الأيقونة المشرقيّة وفنّ عصر النهضة.

The church of St Laby the Apostle - Hassroun

According to a folk tale, king Hassraym (from whom derived the name Hassroun) built a palace and a temple that was converted in the IVth century into a church dedicated to the apostle Laby (the syriac title given to Thaddeus or Jude). The eastern aisle was built in the XIIIth century. In 1770 the western aisle was built. During the crusaders era the church took its form, a single nave crib vaulted structure beneath the road. The church holds many XVIIth century paintings that are a representation of the local iconography being influenced by the art of the renaissance.

أنطش مار يوسف - بسكنتا

سنة ١٧٧٠ بدأ أهالي بسكنتا ببناء كنيسة على إسم القدِّيس يوسف، لكنّ البناء تعثّر. فكان ذلك سببًا لدعوة الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيَّة إلى تسلُّمها، سنة ١٧٧١، بناءً على طلب الأهالي. مقابل ذلك، كان على الرهبانيَّة أن تنشئ مدرسةً لتعليم الأحداث وإرشاد القريب في الأمور الروحيَّة. أتمَّت الرهبانيَّة، سنة ١٧٧٦، تشييد الكنيسة، وأنشأت مدرسةً على اسم القدِّيس يوسف، فكانت أقدم مدرسةٍ في بسكنتا، تهتمُّ بتعليم الأولاد مبادئ الدين والأخلاق، واللغتَين السريانيَّة والعربيَّة.

The presbytery of St Joseph - Baskinta

In 1770 the locals of Baskinta began building a church dedicated to St Joseph, yet due to the lack of funds, they decided to hand the church to the Lebanese Maronite Order. The agreement was settled in 1771 and a school to teach the children and provide spiritual guidance was erected by the order. In 1776 the church was dedicated and the first Baskintan school opened providing a program that teaches Syriac, Arabic, Morals, and Catechism.
