محبسة مار سمعان العاموديّ وادي البواليع - عبيدات المحبسة عبارة عن تَجوِيفٍ مَحفُورٍ فِي الصَّخر، بِدَاخِله صُوَرٌ جُدرَانِيَّةٌ تعود إِلى القَرن الثَّاني عَشَر. مِن بَينِ هِﺬهِ الجُدرَانِيّات رَسمُ الشفاعة، وَكِتَابَةٌ سِرَيَانِيَّةٌ لَم يَبقَ منهَا وَمِن الرُّسُومِ إلّا القَلِيل بِسَبَب عَوَامِل الطَّبِيعَة وَجَهل الإِنسَان. يَتمُّ الصُعُودُ إِلَى غُرَفِ الدَّير بِوَاسِطة سَلَالِم خَشَبِيَّةٍ وَأُخرَى حَدِيدِيَّةٍ مُستَحدَثَةٍ.تُجَاوِرُ دَيرَ مَار سِمعَان كَنِيسَة مَارت مُورَا، وَهِيَ عِبَارَةٌ عَن نَقرٍ في الصَخرِ.بحسب الخبراء جداريّات عبيدات تعودُ لراسم جداريّات كنيسة مار تادرس بحديدات. The hermitage of St Simeon the stylite in Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat The monastery is a hollowed-out cavity in the rock, containing frescoes dating back to the XIIth century. Among these wall paintings is the depiction of the deisis, as well as Syriac inscriptions, of which only a few remain due to natural factors and human ignorance. Access to the monastery's chambers is achieved through newly installed wooden and iron ladders. Adjacent to the Mar Simeon monastery is the St Moura's Church, which is a carved cave in the rock. According to experts, the wall paintings in 'Abeydat belong to the same artist who painted the wall paintings in the Mar Tadros Church in Behadidat. La Ermita de San Simeón el estilita en Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat El monasterio es una cavidad excavada en la roca, que contiene frescos que datan del siglo XII. Entre estas pinturas murales se encuentra la representación de la deisis, así como inscripciones siríacas, de las cuales, debido a factores naturales y la ignorancia humana, solo quedan unas pocas. Para acceder a las cámaras del monasterio se utilizan las escaleras de hierro y madera recién instaladas. Colindante al monasterio de San Simeon se encuentra la iglesia de San Moura, que es una cueva tallada en la roca. Según los expertos, las pinturas murales de 'Abeydat pertenecen al mismo artista que pintó las pinturas murales de la iglesia de San Tadros en Behadidat.

كنيسة السيّدة - عين إبل

بدأ بناء الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦٦ بمسعى من الخوري إبراهيم خريش، اذ لاحظ المطران بطرس البستانيّ أن الكنيسة القديمة أصبحت ضيّقة وكانت الرعيّة تتمّم واجباتها الدينيّة في بيت الكاهن. فبدأ مشروع بناء الكنيسة الكبيرة. في الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات واحدة منها نسخة عن لوحة السيّدة والطفل لرافاييل، مار مارون ومار يوسف للفنّان مارون ضو. في باحة الكنيسة نصب لشهداء البلدة الذين رقدوا بالربّ سنة ١٩٢٠. ومنحوتة مصلوب على شجرة طبيعيّة.

The church of the Our Lady- Ain Ibl

The church was built in 1866 with Fr Ibrahim Khoreish. Back then Bishop Boutros el Boustany noticed that the old church is too small for the congregation that was celebrating mass in the priest’s house. The church holds a replica of Rafael’s Madonna, St Maroun and St Joseph by Maroun Daou. In the church’s backyard stands the memorial of the martyrs of the town who were martyred in 1920 and the crucified put on a natural tree.

أعطى المطران المثلث الرحمات نعمة الله سلوان الإذن ببناء الكنيسة ( كنيسة القديس مارون آنذاك) وأوقفت الأرض من المرحوم سلوم بسول سنة ١٨٩٩. اكتمل بناء الكنيسة مار جرجس الأعظم حوالي سنة ١٩٠٠/١٩٠١ من أموال أبناء الرعيّة بدليل تعيين أول وكيل وقف سنة ١٩٠٠ وتسجيل أول عمادة فيها سنة ١٩٠١ كما وتعيين أول كاهن لخدمتها سنة ١٩٠٢. تضرّر السقف خلال الحرب اللبنانيّة فتمّ ترميمه وطرشه على عجل. عند ترميم الكنيسة الثاني سنة ٢٠١٧ تم اعادة كشف رسومات السقف الأصلية.

St. George Church - Amaret Chalhoub

The late Salloum Bessoul donated the land for the building of the Maronite Church of St. Maron (at that time), and Archibishop Neematullah Selwan granted permission for its construction. The construction of the Church of St. George the Great was completed around 1900/1901 from the funds of the parishioners, with the appointment of the first trustee in 1900 and the registration of the first baptism in 1901, as well as the appointment of the first priest to serve in it in 1902. The ceiling was damaged during the Lebanese war and was hastily restored and painted. During the second restoration of the church in 2017, the original ceiling paintings were rediscovered.

مزار مار جرجس الباطية - صربا

في أسفل الشير الصخري عند شاطىء صربا توجد مغارة طبيعية تعرف بـ"الباطية" وهي تعني "إناء للماء"، إذ تتضمّن المغارة حوضًا صخريًّ تملأه مياه البحر المحاذي للموقع.
فوق المغارة كان يوجد في السابق معبد قديم مكرّس لعبادة البعل. لقد شيّد المسيحيّون في الموقع كنيسةً كبيرةً كانت قد فُرشت أرضيتها بفسيفساء جميلة لم يبق منها سوى بعض الأجزاء. ومن ثم استُبدلت هذه العادات والتقاليد برموز مسيحيّة، فتحوّل الموقع إلى مزار للقديس جرجس، وأصبح السكان المحليّون يقصدون الموقع ويقدمون النذور للقديس جرجس لشفاء الأطفال من الأمراض المستعصية والنساء من مشاكل العقم.

The Shrine of St George El Batyeh - Sarba

Under a huge limestone cliff on the coast of Sarba there is a natural cave known as el Batyeh (meaning the water vessel) because it retains water from the neighboring sea. Over the cave, the Phoenicians erected a temple for Baal, that early christians converted to a church with mosaic flooring. Some of the mosaics are still visible. After the paleochristian era, the local pilgrimage and vitive customs attributed to the site were converted. The shrine was dedicated to St George, with an emergence of votive pilgrimage piety surrounding the place.
