محبسة مار سمعان العاموديّ وادي البواليع - عبيدات المحبسة عبارة عن تَجوِيفٍ مَحفُورٍ فِي الصَّخر، بِدَاخِله صُوَرٌ جُدرَانِيَّةٌ تعود إِلى القَرن الثَّاني عَشَر. مِن بَينِ هِﺬهِ الجُدرَانِيّات رَسمُ الشفاعة، وَكِتَابَةٌ سِرَيَانِيَّةٌ لَم يَبقَ منهَا وَمِن الرُّسُومِ إلّا القَلِيل بِسَبَب عَوَامِل الطَّبِيعَة وَجَهل الإِنسَان. يَتمُّ الصُعُودُ إِلَى غُرَفِ الدَّير بِوَاسِطة سَلَالِم خَشَبِيَّةٍ وَأُخرَى حَدِيدِيَّةٍ مُستَحدَثَةٍ.تُجَاوِرُ دَيرَ مَار سِمعَان كَنِيسَة مَارت مُورَا، وَهِيَ عِبَارَةٌ عَن نَقرٍ في الصَخرِ.بحسب الخبراء جداريّات عبيدات تعودُ لراسم جداريّات كنيسة مار تادرس بحديدات. The hermitage of St Simeon the stylite in Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat The monastery is a hollowed-out cavity in the rock, containing frescoes dating back to the XIIth century. Among these wall paintings is the depiction of the deisis, as well as Syriac inscriptions, of which only a few remain due to natural factors and human ignorance. Access to the monastery's chambers is achieved through newly installed wooden and iron ladders. Adjacent to the Mar Simeon monastery is the St Moura's Church, which is a carved cave in the rock. According to experts, the wall paintings in 'Abeydat belong to the same artist who painted the wall paintings in the Mar Tadros Church in Behadidat. La Ermita de San Simeón el estilita en Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat El monasterio es una cavidad excavada en la roca, que contiene frescos que datan del siglo XII. Entre estas pinturas murales se encuentra la representación de la deisis, así como inscripciones siríacas, de las cuales, debido a factores naturales y la ignorancia humana, solo quedan unas pocas. Para acceder a las cámaras del monasterio se utilizan las escaleras de hierro y madera recién instaladas. Colindante al monasterio de San Simeon se encuentra la iglesia de San Moura, que es una cueva tallada en la roca. Según los expertos, las pinturas murales de 'Abeydat pertenecen al mismo artista que pintó las pinturas murales de la iglesia de San Tadros en Behadidat.

كنيسة السيّدة - بقرقاشا

البناء الحاليّ يعود لسنة ١٨١٠، وبالأصل هو ديرٌ قديمٌ مبنيٌّ على اسم مار نوهرا. عندما بنيت الكنيسة الرعائيّة الكبيرة أوائل القرن العشرين، تحوّلت هذه الكنيسة لشفاعة السيّدة. يتألف البناء من عقدٍ مُصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة. رمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠١٩. لوحة السيّدة، أيقونةٌ محليّة الصنع غير موقّعة، تعود لمدرسة القرن السادس عشر.

The church of our Lady - Bqorqasha

The current church dates back to 1810. It was originally dedicated to St Nohra (Logius). When the current parish church was built in the beginning of the XXth century, this church was dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The structure consists of an arched vault with a semi circular apse. The church was restored in 2019. It holds a local icon of the virgin dating back to the XVIth century.

كنيسة مار نهرا - سمار جبيل

كنيسة مار نهرا التي تُعتبَر من اقدم الكنائس في الشرق، تعود الى القرن الثالث بعد المسيح، وهي تحمل شفاعة مار لوجيوس أي نوهرا الذي إستشهد في قلعة سمار جبيل القريبة منها بحسب التقليد.
أوّل ذكرٍ لهذه الكنيسة ورد باللغة السريانية في كتاب إنجيل موجود في المكتبة الماديشية في فلورنسا. الكنيسة مبنيّة على مراحل من بقايا حجارة هيكلٍ وثنيٍّ قديم. وقد اصبحت هذه الكنيسة محجَّةً للَّذين يطلبون شفاعة مار نهرا، شفيع العيون.
ونرى فوق مدخل الكنيسة الرئيسيّ سلسلةً حجريّةً معلَّقةً، من صنع الياس الخوري وهي مؤلفة من كتلة حجريّة واحدة.
في الكنيسة نقوشًا مضغوطة في الكلس. في القسم الشماليّ الخارجيّ وهو قسم الموعوظين نجد بقايا نقوش من الهيكل الوثنيّ وبئر لتجميع الماء.

المذبح الكبير في الكنيسة تحفة فنيّة أمر به البطريرك بولس مسعد، من عمل المعلّم الياس بربري الحلبيّ ٢٠ تمّوز ١٨٧٠.
يعلو المذبح الأوسط صورة زيتيّة لمار نهرا يُعتقد انها لداود القرم. وعلى المذابح الجانبيّة لوحات لداوود القرم: مار باسيليوس ١٨٩٢، السيّدة العذراء ١٨٧٨.
كذلك زيتيّتين لكنعان ديب: السيّدة ومار مارون. ولوحة نحاسيّة تمثّل مشهد العماد.
مؤخرًا إكتُشف في الكنيسة بقايا جداريّات باتت مجهولة المعالم.

St Nohra’s church - Smar Jbeil

The church of St Nohra is considered to be one of the oldest churches in the Levant dating back to the third century, and bares the patronage of St Logius, also known as Nohra, who was martyred in the nearby castle according to tradition.
The first mention of the church comes from a medieval manuscript of a Bible in the florentine Medicci library.
The church was built over different stages. The first stones were begotten from local pagan temples. It was an important pilgrimage site due to its patron, St Nohra, who is considered the patron saint of the eyesight.
Above the northern entrance a chain carved from a single stone can be spotted, it was made by Elias el Khoury. Also in the church one can find many limestone engravings.
The western exterior part is the narthex with a pagan sculpture and a well.

The high altar of the church was commissioned by Patriarch Boulos Masaad, and was finalized in the twentieth of July 1870 by the aleppan Elias Barbary.
Above the altar is a painting of St Nohra attributed to Dawoud al Qorm. Above the two side altars are two paintings signed by Dawoud al Qorm: The Madonna 1878 and St Basil 1892.
In the church are two older paintings for Kanaan Dib: the Madonna and St Maroun. One can also find a copper engraving depicting the baptism of Jesus.
Lately medieval frescoes were discovered in the old part of the church yet they are in bad condition.

كنيسة السيّدة الرعائيّة - العاقورة

بنيت الكنيسة الأولى على أنقاض هيكلٍ رومانيّ كرّس للزهرة، أواسط القرن الخامس عشر، وكانت كنيسةً كبيرة حَوَت مكتبة مخطوطات مهمّة. رُممّت الكنيسة وجُدّدت عدّة مرّات لكنّ الكنيسة القديمة هُدُمت أواسط القرن العشرين لتبنى الكنيسة الحاليّة الأكبر. تحوي الكنيسة على بيت قربان رخاميّ من أثر الكنيسة القديمة، كذلك العديد من اللوحات المحليّة العائدة للقرنين السابع والثامن عشر.

The Parish church of Our Lady - Aqoura

The church was built over a roman temple dedicated to Venus, in the mid XVth century. The church had a rich manuscript library. It was restored many times, yet the old church was destroyed in the mid XXth century to make space for the new bigger church. The church holds the marble tabernacle of the old one and a collection of locally made paintings dating back to the XVIIth and XVIIIth century.
