محبسة مار سمعان العاموديّ وادي البواليع - عبيدات المحبسة عبارة عن تَجوِيفٍ مَحفُورٍ فِي الصَّخر، بِدَاخِله صُوَرٌ جُدرَانِيَّةٌ تعود إِلى القَرن الثَّاني عَشَر. مِن بَينِ هِﺬهِ الجُدرَانِيّات رَسمُ الشفاعة، وَكِتَابَةٌ سِرَيَانِيَّةٌ لَم يَبقَ منهَا وَمِن الرُّسُومِ إلّا القَلِيل بِسَبَب عَوَامِل الطَّبِيعَة وَجَهل الإِنسَان. يَتمُّ الصُعُودُ إِلَى غُرَفِ الدَّير بِوَاسِطة سَلَالِم خَشَبِيَّةٍ وَأُخرَى حَدِيدِيَّةٍ مُستَحدَثَةٍ.تُجَاوِرُ دَيرَ مَار سِمعَان كَنِيسَة مَارت مُورَا، وَهِيَ عِبَارَةٌ عَن نَقرٍ في الصَخرِ.بحسب الخبراء جداريّات عبيدات تعودُ لراسم جداريّات كنيسة مار تادرس بحديدات. The hermitage of St Simeon the stylite in Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat The monastery is a hollowed-out cavity in the rock, containing frescoes dating back to the XIIth century. Among these wall paintings is the depiction of the deisis, as well as Syriac inscriptions, of which only a few remain due to natural factors and human ignorance. Access to the monastery's chambers is achieved through newly installed wooden and iron ladders. Adjacent to the Mar Simeon monastery is the St Moura's Church, which is a carved cave in the rock. According to experts, the wall paintings in 'Abeydat belong to the same artist who painted the wall paintings in the Mar Tadros Church in Behadidat. La Ermita de San Simeón el estilita en Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat El monasterio es una cavidad excavada en la roca, que contiene frescos que datan del siglo XII. Entre estas pinturas murales se encuentra la representación de la deisis, así como inscripciones siríacas, de las cuales, debido a factores naturales y la ignorancia humana, solo quedan unas pocas. Para acceder a las cámaras del monasterio se utilizan las escaleras de hierro y madera recién instaladas. Colindante al monasterio de San Simeon se encuentra la iglesia de San Moura, que es una cueva tallada en la roca. Según los expertos, las pinturas murales de 'Abeydat pertenecen al mismo artista que pintó las pinturas murales de la iglesia de San Tadros en Behadidat.

The church was built in 1956 and consecrated by Bishop Antonios Khoreish (Later patriarch). The church was built to separate the parish of Jenjlaya from the parish of Aktanyt. The church is a small cement structure with an apse.

دير مار أليشاع القديم - بشرّي

يقع الدير في وادي قنّوبين على السفح أسفل مدينة بشرّي. أولى الإشارات لوجوده تعود لسنة ١٣١٥، حين كان الدير مقرًّا لأساقفة بشرّي.
سنة ١٦٤٣، قطنه الرهبان الكرمليّون وهم أوّل إرساليّة أجنبيّة خدمت الموارنة. سنة ١٦٤٤، توفّي فيه برائحة القداسة، الناسك الفرنسيّ فرانسوا دي شاستوي. سنة ١٦٩٥، تسلّمت الرهبانيّة الحلبيّة اللبنانيّة الناشئة الدير من اهالي بشرّي، فأعاد الرهبان بناءه، وأقاموا فيه مدرسةً، وجلبوا من حلب أيقونة مار أليشاع. في ١٠ تشرين الثاني ١٦٩٨ إنعقد فيه أوّل مجمع للرهبانيّة، وفيه وُضع القانون الرهبانيّ الذي ثبّته فيما بعد البابا أقليمنضوس الثاني عشر وأهدى بدوره الدّير بيت قربانٍ وذخيرة مار مارون. أصبح الدّير محبسةً بعد بناء الدّير الجديد سنة ١٨٧٤، وكان آخر حبسائه الأب أنطونيوس طربيه (+١٩٩٨). وهو اليوم محجّ ومقصد للعزلة والصلاة.

The old monastery of Prophet Elishah - Bcharre

The monastery is situated in the holy valley of Qannoubin, on a cliff underneath the city of Bcharre. The oldest signs of it’s existence date back to 1315 when it was the seat of Bcharre’s bishops.
In 1643 it was the headquarters of the Carmelites, the first western missionaries to the Maronites.
In 1644 the saintly hermit Francois de Chasteuil died and was buried in the monastic church.
The newly founded Lebanese Aleppan Maronite took the monastery as it’s headquarter in 1695 and bought the icon of Prophet Elishah from Aleppo. On the 10th of November 1698 the first monastic council was held and the new monastic rules where promulgated. They where later acknowledged by Pope Clement XII who gave the monastery a tabernacle and a relic of St Maroun.
The monastery was used as a hermitage after the construction of the new monastery in 1874. The last of the hermits was Father Antonios Torbey (+1998). The monastery is now a shrine for pilgrims who seek solitude.

محبسة مار بطرس وبولس - عنّايا

بُنيت المحبسة سنة ١٧٩٨، على يد الراهبان يوسف أبي رميا وداود بن موسى عيسى خليفة من إهمج، اللذان بنيا معبدًا صغيرًا، على أنقاض معبد قديم، وأطلقوا عليه إسم دير التجلّي، وستّة قلالي للسكن. عام ١٨١٤، إنضمّ هذان الراهبان إلى الرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة، فتسلّمت الرهبانيّة المحبسة على عهد الرئيس العام اغناطيوس بليبل، وتحوّلت كنيستها بأمر البطريرك يوحنا الحلو إلى إسم القديسين بطرس وبولس. من أشهر حبسائها: الأب أليشاع كسّاب الحرديني شقيق القديس نعمةالله، والأب الأب شربل مخلوف أي القديس شربل. تحوّلت المحبسة إلى مزار، يزوره المؤمنون للصلاة وطلب شفاعة القدّيس شربل.

The Hermitage of Sts Peter and Paul - Annaya

The hermitage was built in 1798 by two monks from Ehmej: Youssef Abi Ramia and Dawood Bin Moussa Issa. It consisted of six cells and a chapel dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Lord. In 1814 both monks joined the Lebanese Maronite Order. The hermitage was transferred to the Order during the days of Abbot Ignatius Bleibel and by order of Patriarch Youhanna el Helou was rededicated to Sts Peter and Paul. The most famous hermits who resided in the hermitage are Fr Elishaa Kassab, the brother of St Nematullah and St Charbel Makhlouf. Today the hermitage is a shrine and a pilgrimage site to those asking for St Charbel’s intercession.
