بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى في القرن السابع عشر فوق بقايا هيكل رومانيّ على يد الخوري يرد الحدشيتي. أواخر القرن التاسع عشر أُعيد بناؤها على يد الخوري مخايل الخوري يونس وأُتِمَّ سنة ١٨٩٩. اللوحات الثلاث الرئيسيّة من عمل داود القرم، أمّا الجداريّات فهي أحدث عهدًا تعود لمنتصف القرن العشرين وهي من عمل مالك شحيبر طوق.The church was first built in the 17th century over the ruins of a roman temple by Fr. Yard of Hadshit. During the 19th century the church was rebuilt by Fr. Mikhael el Khoury Younes in 1899. The three main paintings were done by Dawoud al Qorm, The murals are more recent from the mid 20th century by Malek Chehaiber Tawk.

دير مار أنطونيوس الكبير - زحلة
تأسّس الدير في عام 1771 من قِبل مجموعة من الرهبان الموارنة الذين كانوا يسعون إلى إنشاء مكان للعبادة ل في قلب مدينة زحلة لخدمة المجتمع المارونيّ المحلي. نما دير القديس أنطونيوس على مرّ القرون في الحجم والأهميّة وأصبح مركزًا للعلم والروحانيّة. ورغم تعرّضه للحروب والغزوات والزلازل، إلّا أنه تم إعادة بنائه وترميمه عدة مرّات. تُعدّ كنيسة القديس أنطونيوس نقطة المحور في الدير، حيث تم بناؤها في منتصف القرن العشرين فوق الكنيسة الأصلية. ويتميّز الداخل بلوحات جداريّة رائعة ونوافذ زجاجية ملونة برسوم الفنان اللبناني أسعد رنّو. في الكنيسة مقام جانبي صغير مخصص للقديسة تيريزا. تشتهر مكتبة الدير كذلك بمجموعتها الضخمة من الكتب والمخطوطات والتحف القديمة. وبشكل عام، يُعدّ دير القديس أنطونيوس موقعًا ثقافيًا وروحيًا مهمًّا في زحلة، له تراث غنيّ يجذب الزوار من جميع أنحاء العالم.
The monastery of St. Anthony the great - Zahle
The monastery was established in 1771 by a group of Maronite monks with the intention of creating a place of worship and reflection for the local Maronite community in Zahle. Throughout the years, it has grown in both size and significance, developing into a hub for learning and spirituality. Despite experiencing wars, invasions, and earthquakes, the monastery has been reconstructed and renovated multiple times. The focal point of the monastery is the church of St. Anthony, which was built in the mid XXth century over the original church. The interior is decorated with stunning frescoes, stained glass windows created by the Lebanese artist Assaad Renno, and intricate altars. The church has a small lateral chapel dedicated to St. Therese of Lisieux. Another noteworthy feature of the monastery is its library, which houses an extensive collection of books, manuscripts, and ancient artifacts. Overall, the monastery is a significant cultural and spiritual site in Zahle, Lebanon, with a rich heritage that continues to attract visitors from all over the world.
كاتدرائيّة مار مارون - بيت الدّين سنة ١٨٢٩ وهب الأمير قاسم شهاب المطران يوحنا الحلو (البطريرك لاحقًا) قطعة أرض لبناء كنيسة على اسم مار مارون لأبناء البلدة، هذه الكنيسة الأولى هي السكرستيّا اليوم. سعى لبناء الكنيسة الحاليّة الأمير بشير الثاني الشهابيّ الكبير، وكرّسها البطريرك يوسف حبيش في زيارته لمركز الإمارة في أيّار سنة ١٨٣٧، وجعلها كرسيًّا لرئيس أساقفة صور وصيدا المطران عبدالله البستاني، وبنى له دارًا للمطرانيّة بقربها، ليكون مركز المطران بجوار مركز الإمارة. تعرّضت الكنيسة للتخريب مرّتين: سنة ١٨٦٠ و١٩٨٣. أعيد ترميمها أخيرًا في تسعينيّات القرن العشرين.
The Cathedral of St Maroun - Beit El Din In 1829 Prince Qasem Chehab gave Bishop Youhanna El Helou (later Patriarch) a parcel of land to build a church dedicated to St Maroun on, this old church is used today as a sacristy. The current cathedral was built by Prince Bechir the second Chehab and consecrated by Patriarch Youssef Hobeich during his visit to the seat of power in Beit El Din in May 1838, and made it the seat of the archbishop of Tyr and Sidon, with its first prelate Archbishop Abdallah El Boustany. The archbishopric was constructed adjacent to the church, so that the seat of the Archbishop would be near the princely palace. The church was devastated during the wars of 1860 and 1983, and finally renovated during the nineties.
هي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة بُنيت سنة ١٩١١. بانيها المعلّم الياس قسطنطين وكرّسها المطران شكرالله الخوري. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالبٍ مليّس وملوّن بجداريّة رخاميّة. رُمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠١٧ محافظةً على شكلها الأساسيّ.
The church of St Joseph - El Hajje
The church is the village’s parrochial church built in 1911 by Elias Costantine. The church was consecrated by Bishop Chukrallah el Khoury. The structure is a crossed vault decorated with a faux marbre fresco. The church was restored in 2017 while preserving its original decor.
