كنيسة سيّدة الإنتقال الجديدة - بقاع كفرا

هي الكنيسة الرعائيّة الجديدة. بُنيت على سطح الكنيسة القديمة، سنة ١٩٢٥. تجمع بين القديم والحديث. مسقوفة بالقرميد من الخارج، أمّا من الداخل، فسقفها بغداديّ. تتألق الكنيسة سوق واحدة، وتحتوي على رسومات وصُوَر وزخارف ونقوش على جدرانها، وزجاجيّات على شبابيكها.

The New church of Our Lady of Assumption - Bekaa Kafra

The new parish church of Our Lady was built on top of the old one in 1925, and consists of one nave. The walls are lavishly decorated with frescoes mouldings and arabesques. The roof is of local type of decoration called Baghdady. The church also contains beautiful stained glass windows.

كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان الأثريّة - صليما

يعود بناء الكنيسة إلى سنة ١٦٥٨، فمع توافد الموارنة إلى البلدة شرعوا ببناء كنيسة. ساعدهم على بنائها الآباء الكبوشيّون الذين بدؤا رسالتهم في دير مار بطرس في البلدة وجلبوا لإعانة موارنة البلدة معونة ماديّة من الكاردينال ريوشوليو وزير الملك لويس الثالث عشر. سنة ١٦٨٤ كرّس المذبح البطريرك أسطفان الدويهيّ. البناء كناية عن عقدِ مُصالب، يتميّز ببابٍ فخمٍ قدّمه أمراء آل أبي اللمع. تعرضت الكنيسة للتخريب إبّان الحرب الأهليّة اللبنانيّة. ورمّمت في تسعينيّات القرن العشرين

St. John the Baptist Ancient Church - Salima

The construction of the church dates back to the year 1658 when the Maronites began to settle in the town and started building a church. The Capuchin fathers, who began their mission at the Monastery of St. Peter in the town, assisted them in its construction. They brought financial assistance from Cardinal Richelieu, the Minister of King Louis XIII, to support the Maronites of the town. In 1684, Patriarch Estephan Douaihy consecrated the altar. The building is in the shape of a crucifix and is distinguished by a magnificent door donated by the Al Abi Al Lamaa family. The church suffered damage during the Lebanese Civil War and was restored in the 1990s.

كنيسة سيّدة الحارة - زغرتا

في البدء كان البناءُ جزءًا من بيتٍ كبيرٍ لوقف زغرتا، استعمله الأهالي مستودعًا لأدوات البناء عندما حاول الزغرتاويّون بناء كاتدرائيّة سنة ١٨٩٩ في المكان القائمة فيه الآن كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان. ولمّا لم تتيسر الأموال لإتمام البناء، طلبت السيّدة آسة أرملة سليم بك كرم من الخوري سعاده حنا ديب سعاده أن يُستعمل هذا البيت معبدًا على اسم سيّدة الحارة، بعد الحصول على إذنٍ من البطريركيّة المارونيّة. رُممّت هذه الكنيسة مرارًا ووُسّعت وأُضيفت لها قبّة جرس. أُهملت الكنيسة بعد بناء كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان المحاذية لها. أُعيد تجديدها سنة ٢٠٠٠.

The church of our Lady of Hara - Zgharta

The building was originally a tool basement for a house owned by the parish of Zgharta. In 1899 after the failing to build a cathedral nearby due to the lack of funds, a local lady named Assa, who is the widow of Selim Bey Karam asked Fr. Saade Hanna Dib Saade to convert the structure into a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary after the approval of the Maronite Patriarch. The church was renewed many times and a bell tower was added. However, after the construction of St John’s church nearby it fell into disuse. It was finally renewed in the year 2000.
