بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٦٠٧ عندما نزح الخوري تادي وأولاده من بلاد الرها الى قرطبا ووهبهم الأرض لبنائها مشايخ آل حمادة. الكنيسة هي الوحيدة في لبنان على إسم مار تادي أي تدّاوس رسول آسية الصغرى وهو المعروف بمار لابا في سائر كنائس لبنان. أعيد بناء الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦٨. اللوحة الأساسيّة تعود لسنة ١٨٨٠ من عمل الرسّام داود القرم رُمّمت سنة ٢٠٠٤ وتُمثّل مار تادي بهيئة أسقف. وفي الكنيسة لوحة ثانية لمار شلّيطا من عمل الرسّام البولوني بولس شلافاك.‏The church was built in 1607 when the family of the priest Tedy came to Qartaba from Urfa. It was built upon a parcel of land that was donated by the Hamade sheikhs. It is the only church in Lebanon dedicated to St Tedy or Jude the apostle of Asia Minor. The other churches in Lebanon are usually dedicated to him under the name of apostle Leba. The church was rebuilt in 1868. The painting is the work of Dawoud Al Qorm dating back to year 1880 representing St Tedy as a bishop. It was restored in 2004. The church holds another painting by the polish painter Paul Shlavak and represents St Shalita (Artemius of Antioch) on his horse.

بُنيت الكنيسة القديمة سنة ١٧٩٧، وهي من أقدم رعايا أعالي كسروان، تحوي ثلاث لوحات مهمّة: مار يوحنّا لداود القرم، السيّدة والطفل لحبيب سرور، ومار يوسف لكنعان ديب. بقربها بُنيت الكنيسة الجديدة في ١٤ أيلول سنة ١٩٨٤.

The church was built in 1797, and it is one of the oldest churches in the mountains of Keserwan. It holds three paintings: The Baptism of Jesus for Dawoud al Qorm, the Madona for Habib Srour, St Joseph for Kanaan Dib. Near the old church a new one erected and was consecrated on the 14th of September 1984.

كنيسة سيّدة الساحة - البترون

شيّدت الكنيسة على أنقاض كنيسةٍ قديمةٍ نهاية القرن التاسع عشر. سعى في إتمامها آل عقل نظرًا لقرب دارتهم من الكنيسة، وكان ذلك لإستقبال البطريرك الياس الحويّك ابن حلتا البترونيّة ليقيم القدّاس فيها أثناء زياراته للمدينة. رممّت على مراحل خلال القرن العشرين.

The Church of Our Lady of the Saha - Batroun

The church is located in a town square hence its name "Al Saha". It was built in the late XIXth century over an older church. The sponsors of the construction project were the Akl family since their estate was nearby and they needed a chapel for Patriarch Elias El Howayek from Helta to say mass during his visits to the city. كنيسة سيّدة شحلو - القبيّات

كلمة شَحْلُو من السريانيّة تُشير إلى مجرى المياه. هذه المنطقة قديمًا شكلت المدخل الشماليّ للقبيّات، بنى فيها الأهالي معبدًا وثنيًّا ما لبث أن حوّلوه كنيسةً. دمّر المماليك في حملتهم الكنيسة ليبنوا برجًا للمراقبة. هذا البرج دمّره العثمانيّون بعد معركة مرج دابق سنة ١٥١٦. أواسط القرن العشرين أُعيد بناء الكنيسة بشكلها الحاليّ، مع برج ساعةٍ رُفع عليه تمثال للعذراء في تسعينيّات القرن الماضي. تُعتبر هذه الكنيسة مزارًا ومحجًّا للأهالي.

The church of our Lady of Shahlo - Kobbayat

The word Shahlo is from a syriac root referring to a water source. In ancient times the locals built a pagan temple on the site that was converted into the first church. This church was destroyed by the Mamluks who built a tower on the site that was destroyed by the ottomans after the battle of Marj Dabeq in 1516. In the mid XXth century a church was rebuilt in it’s current form, with a bell tower added in the ninties. The church is considered a votive shrine for the villagers.
