بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٦٠٧ عندما نزح الخوري تادي وأولاده من بلاد الرها الى قرطبا ووهبهم الأرض لبنائها مشايخ آل حمادة. الكنيسة هي الوحيدة في لبنان على إسم مار تادي أي تدّاوس رسول آسية الصغرى وهو المعروف بمار لابا في سائر كنائس لبنان. أعيد بناء الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦٨. اللوحة الأساسيّة تعود لسنة ١٨٨٠ من عمل الرسّام داود القرم رُمّمت سنة ٢٠٠٤ وتُمثّل مار تادي بهيئة أسقف. وفي الكنيسة لوحة ثانية لمار شلّيطا من عمل الرسّام البولوني بولس شلافاك.‏The church was built in 1607 when the family of the priest Tedy came to Qartaba from Urfa. It was built upon a parcel of land that was donated by the Hamade sheikhs. It is the only church in Lebanon dedicated to St Tedy or Jude the apostle of Asia Minor. The other churches in Lebanon are usually dedicated to him under the name of apostle Leba. The church was rebuilt in 1868. The painting is the work of Dawoud Al Qorm dating back to year 1880 representing St Tedy as a bishop. It was restored in 2004. The church holds another painting by the polish painter Paul Shlavak and represents St Shalita (Artemius of Antioch) on his horse.

مغارة القدّيسة مارينا - وادي قنّوبين

بالأصل هذه المحبسة مغارة طبيعيّة بقرب دير قنّوبين، قصدها الحبساء
للخلوة. الى هذه المغارة لجأت القديسة مارينا والولد اللقيط الذي ربّته واهتمّت به بعد طردها من الدّير، وفيها ماتت ودفنت. بحسب البطريرك الدويهيّ أخذ الصليبيّون جثمانها الى البندقيّة وبقيت يدها اليسرى في المغارة. أصبحت هذه المغارة محجًّا ومدفنًا لسبعة عشر بطريركًا سكنوا في دير قنّوبين، من يوحنّا الجاجيّ الى يوحنّا الحلو. سنة ١٩٠٩ خلال حبريّة البطريرك الياس الحويّك ، رُمّم المدفن، وبنيت للمغارة واجهة حجريّة، ووضع في داخله مذبح رخاميّ جديد.

St Marina’s Grotto - Qannoubine valley

The cave was a hermitage dependent of the monastery of Qannoubine. In this cave St Marina took refuge with the bastard child she raised after her unfair expulsion from the monastery. She was buried in the same cave that became a pilgrimage site. The Crusaders transferred her relics to Venice leaving only her left hand in the cave according to patriarch Douweihy. The cave became the patriarchal necropolis, a total of 17 patriarchs were buried there from John of Jaj to John El Helou. In 1909 during the pontificate of Patriarch Elias Howayek the necropolis was restored, a stone facade was built to the west, and a new marble altar was brought in.

هي كنيسة صغيرة في البلدة، بُنيت سنة ١٨١٦. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ سريريّ بسيط، يعلوه تمثال لمار أنطونيوس البادوانيّ حاملاً الطفل.

The church of St Anthony of Padua - Kfaraabida

A small church on the outskirts of the village, built in 1816. The structure is a simple crib vault, with St Anthony's statue over the building.

محبسة مار شلّيطا - وادي المذابح حدشيت

وادي المذابح هو من روافد الوادي المقدَس، وفيه محبسة مار أرتاميوس (شليطا) وتعود للقرن الحادي عشر. مؤلّفة من عقد سريريّ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة، البناء أصبح اليوم أثرًا. في الموقع بقايا عظام بشريّة.

The Hermitage of St Chalita - The valley of Mazabeh Hadsheet

The valley of Mazabeh is a part of the Holy Valley descending from Hadsheet. In the valley stands the hermitage of St Artemius (Chalita in syriac) dating back to the XIth century. The building is in ruins consisting of a cribbed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The church contains remains of human bones.
