بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٦٠٧ عندما نزح الخوري تادي وأولاده من بلاد الرها الى قرطبا ووهبهم الأرض لبنائها مشايخ آل حمادة. الكنيسة هي الوحيدة في لبنان على إسم مار تادي أي تدّاوس رسول آسية الصغرى وهو المعروف بمار لابا في سائر كنائس لبنان. أعيد بناء الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦٨. اللوحة الأساسيّة تعود لسنة ١٨٨٠ من عمل الرسّام داود القرم رُمّمت سنة ٢٠٠٤ وتُمثّل مار تادي بهيئة أسقف. وفي الكنيسة لوحة ثانية لمار شلّيطا من عمل الرسّام البولوني بولس شلافاك.‏The church was built in 1607 when the family of the priest Tedy came to Qartaba from Urfa. It was built upon a parcel of land that was donated by the Hamade sheikhs. It is the only church in Lebanon dedicated to St Tedy or Jude the apostle of Asia Minor. The other churches in Lebanon are usually dedicated to him under the name of apostle Leba. The church was rebuilt in 1868. The painting is the work of Dawoud Al Qorm dating back to year 1880 representing St Tedy as a bishop. It was restored in 2004. The church holds another painting by the polish painter Paul Shlavak and represents St Shalita (Artemius of Antioch) on his horse.

كنيسة سيّدة البشارة القديمة - درب السيم

بنى الصليبيّون الكنيسة في القرن الثاني عشر بهندسةٍ دفاعيّةٍ، الكنيسة مؤلفة من سوقٍ واحدة بعقدٍ مصالبٍ. مع رحيل الصليبيّين أصبح البناء بيد مشايخ آل الجواد الشيعة الذين حافظوا عليه طوال قرون. مع قدوم الموارنة إلى البلدة في القرن الثامن عشر، أعاد لهم الشيخ منصور الجواد البناء، فأعادوا تكريس الكنيسة وبناء المذبح. خربت الكنيسة في أحداث ١٨٦٠ و١٩٨٥ ورمّمت مرّتين.
لوحة سيّدة البشارة هي من محفوظات الكنيسة الجديدة، من عمل الرسّام أندريه نمّور.

The old church of Our Lady of the Annunciation - Darb el Sim

The church was built by the crusaders in the XIIth century. The structure consists of a single nave with a crossed vault, and many defensive elements. After the crusaders left, the structure was left with a feudal Shia family, the Sheikhs of Al Jawad. With the settlement of the Maronites in the village during the XVIIIth century, Sheikh Mansour Al Jawad gave them back the church. The Maronites reconsecrated it and built a new altar. The church was sabotaged during the wars of 1860 and 1985 and restored twice.
The painting of the Annunciation is contemporary made by Andre Nammour.

كنيسة مار أنطونيوس الكبير القديمة - الرميلة

هي كنيسة بعقدٍ سريريٍّ وحنية واحدة، تعود للقرون الوسطى. بدايةً بنى هذا المكان المسلمون الشيعة، بدليل إتجاه البناء نحو الجنوب وليس الشرق، كما هي عادة الكنائس. في القرن الثامن عشر، وبعد معارك مع الدروز ترك الشيعة البلدة وأسكنوا الموارنة مكانهم، وأعطوهم البناء فحوّلوه إلى كنيسةٍ على اسم مار أنطونيوس الكبير. تعرّضت الكنيسة للتخريب خلال الحرب الأهليّة اللبنانيّة سنة ١٩٨٥، ورمّمت في تسعينيّات القرن العشرين.

The church of St Anthony the Great - Rmeileh

The church is a medieval crib vaulted structure. In the beginning, the building was built by the Chiites, for this reason it is oriented to the south and not to the east like other churches. In the XVIIIth century the Chiites left the village after their battles with the Druze. The Maronites came along and settled in and were given the old shrine that was converted into a church dedicated to St Anthony the Great. The church was severely sabotaged during the Lebanese civil war in 1985, and it was renovated a decade later.

كنيسة السيّدة الجديدة - صربا الجنوب

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٤٦ وكرّسها المطران أغوسطينوس البستاني. بناؤها بازيليكيّ الطراز بثلاث أسواقٍ وحنية نصف دائريّة. رُمّمت الكنيسة بعد زلزال سنة ١٩٥٦، وأُضيفت إليها قبّة الجرس. تضمّ الكنيسة أيقونةً أورشليميّة عجائبيّة للسيّدة العذراء وهي التي حمت الأهالي خلال الحرب العالميّة الأولى.

The new Church of Our Lady - Sarba, South Lebanon.

The church was constructed in 1946 and consecrated by Archbishop Augustine el-Boustany. This basilical church features three naves and a semi-circular apse. Following the earthquake of 1956, the structure underwent restoration, and a bell tower was subsequently added to the church. Notably, the church houses an icon of the Theotokos from the school of Jerusalem, which is believed to possess miraculous properties. According to the local community, this icon protected the village during World War I, serving as a source of divine intervention and safeguarding.
