دير مار شليطا - القبيات

يقع الدّير في منطقة وادي حلسبان، في الأصل كان البناء معبدًا رومانيًّا للإله بان إله الرعيان والمواشي. حوّله الأهالي إلى كنيسةٍ بيزنطيّة على اسم القدّيس شليطا (أرتاميوس) شفيع الحيوانات والمواشي، إشارةً إلى تحوّلهم من الوثنيّة. بقي الدّير مُهملاً فترةً طويلةً، فآل إلى الخراب. خلال تسعينيّات القرن العشرين رُمّم الدّير، لكنّ الترميم أزال قسمًا كبيرًا من معالمه. أصبح الدّير اليوم مقصدًا للسيّاح ومحجًّا.

The monastery of Chalita - Kobayyat

The monastery is located in the valley of Helesban. The building was a roman temple dedicated to Pan the god of shepherds. The temple was converted into a church during the byzantine era and was dedicated to St Chalita (Arthemius) the patron saint of animals and heards. After the middle ages, the monastery fell into ruins for along time. The structure was restored in the last decade of the XXth century, yet the restoration destroyed many of the original elements. The monastery became a pilgrimage site.

كنيسة السيدة - حصرون‎

تمّ بناء الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦٩. هي كناية عن عقد مصالب، ولها ثلاث حنايا مستديرة، تحتها ثلاثة مذابح، الكبير منها في الوسط وهو من الرخام، على إسم السيّدة العذراء والقدّيس لابي الرسول شفيع البلدة. اللوحة الكبيرة رسمها داوود القرم عام ١٨٩٥. أمّا المذبحان الآخران، علي اليمين للقديس أنطونيوس البادواني، وعلى اليسار وللقدّيس يوسف. كُرّست الكنيسة في ٢٢ ايلول ١٩٠١ على يد المطران بولس عبود. يعلو الكنيسة برج ساعةٍ طنّانة بني عام ١٩٢٤. تحافظ الكنيسة على طابعها الأصليّ، ورُمّمت سنة ١٩٩٩.

The Church of Our Lady - Hasroun

It was built in 1869 and features a crossed vault with three semi-circular apses. Inside the apses are three altars dedicated to Our Lady and St. Jude, St. Anthony of Padua, and St. Joseph. The main painting in the church is a depiction of Our Lady and St. Jude, created by Dawoud al Qorm in 1895. The church was consecrated on September 22, 1901, by Mgr. Boulos Abboud. In 1924, a bell tower was added to the church. Despite its age, many of the church's original elements have been preserved, and the building was restored in 1999.

كنيسة سيّدة اليمونة - اليمونة

أواسط القرن التاسع عشر حمت السيّدة شخصًا من آل ياغي من الغرق فنذر بناء كنيسةٍ لها في اليمونة. الكنيسة صغيرة بعقدٍ مصالبٍ. تشتهر هذه الكنيسة بكونها مقامًا عجائبيّّا يقصده المسيحيّون والشيعة للتبرّك.

The church of our Lady of Yammouneh - Yammouneh

In the mid XIXth century a man from the Yaghy clan was saved from drowning with the miraculous intercession of Our Lady. He dedicated himself to build a church in Yammouneh as an act of thanksgiving. The church is small with a crossed vault. The shrine is considered holy for both christians and Shias, and it is an important pilgrimage site for both religions.
