كنيسة سيّدة الشير - إهمجكنيسة سيدة الشير الرعائيّة العجائبيّة، دُعيت بهذا الإسم نسبةً إلى المكان الذي أقيمت عليه وهو شير صخريّ يبلغ ارتفاعه حوالي خمسين مترًا. تعود الكنيسة الأولى إلى العصور الوسطى، وخُرّبت وأعيد بناؤها سنة ١٦٧٦، بعد عودة الأهالي إلى القرية. بدأ العمل في بناء الكنيسة بشكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٠٠ وتمّ إنجازها في العام ١٩٢٠. وهي تشتهر بعجائبها الكثيرة.The church of Our Lady of the cliff - EhmejThe parish church of our Lady was named after a 50 meter limestone cliff above which it stands. The first medieval church was sabotaged and rebuilt in 1676 after the Maronites' return to the village. In 1900 the church took its current form and was completed in 1920. The church is a pilgrimage site famous for the miracles that happened there.
وادي المذابح هو من روافد الوادي المقدَس، وفيه محبسة مار أرتاميوس (شليطا) وتعود للقرن الحادي عشر. مؤلّفة من عقد سريريّ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة، البناء أصبح اليوم أثرًا. في الموقع بقايا عظام بشريّة.
The Hermitage of St Chalita - The valley of Mazabeh Hadsheet
The valley of Mazabeh is a part of the Holy Valley descending from Hadsheet. In the valley stands the hermitage of St Artemius (Chalita in syriac) dating back to the XIth century. The building is in ruins consisting of a cribbed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The church contains remains of human bones.
دير سيّدة القلعة - منجز بنى الأمير البيزنطيّ فيليكس قلعةً على ضفاف النهر الكبير، على بقايا هياكل فينيقيّة ورومانيّة. سنة ١١٢٨ رممّ الأمير الصليبيّ جيلبير دي بوي لوران القلعة، ثم باعها لأمير طرابلس ريموند سان جيل. بعد ذلك استولى فرسان القدّيس يوحنا على القلعة وبنوا فيها معبدًا على اسم شفيعهم مار يوحنّا. تعرض الدّير في حقباتٍ عديدةٍ للخراب. وأثناء انتقال الملك الظاهر بيبرس الى القبيات في طريقه الى حصن عكار استولى على الدير والقلعة. بعد رحيل المماليك تحوّل الدّير إلى مزارٍ مريميّ. أواسط القرن التاسع عشر رمّم الدّير يوسف المريض من منجز، وتنسّك به. سنة ١٨٩٢ تسلّم الدّير الآباء اليسوعيّون فبنوا الكنيسة الجديدة، وأقاموا مدرسةً سنة ١٨٩٥. سنة ١٩٢٥ تسلّمت الرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة الدّير. تعرّض الدّير للخراب خلال الحرب الأهليّة، وعاد إليه الرهبان بداية التسعينيّات. الكنيسة مبنيّة بالحجر البركانيّ الأسود، بسوقٍ واحد وعقد سريريّ، تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات الغربيّة ومذبح خشبيّ أوروبيّ الصنع. The monastery of Our Lady of the fortress - Menjez The Byzantine prince Felix built a castle over phoenician and roman ruins, that the Crusader prince Gilbert de Pui Lorain took in 1128, then he sold it to the prince of Tripoli Raymond de Saint Gilles. After that the knights of St John took the castle and built a monastery dedicated to St John. With the Mamelouk invasion the monastery was sabotaged when king Zaher Bibars took over Tripoli. After the Mamelouks left, the locals converted the ruins into a Marian shrine. In the mid XIXth century, a local named Youssef el Marid renewed the monastery and made it a hermitage. In 1882 the Jesuits took over, rebuilt the church, and built a school in 1885. In 1925 the Lebanese Maronite Order took the monastery and the school. During the civil war the monastery was sabotaged, the monks didin’t return to the mission until the nineties. The church is made of black bazalt, it is a single nave crib vaulted structure. The church holds many western paintings, and a wooden European high altar.

تأسّست أولى الأخويّات المريميّة في دير القمر سنة ١٧٦٩، وبنى أعضاؤها كابيلّا سيّدة البشارة سنة ١٧٧٧ في حارة الخندق. رُمّمت سنة ١٨٢٢. ومع إعلان عقيدة الحبل بلا دنس سنة ١٨٥٤ كُرّس التمثال الجديد والأخويّة لإكرام سيّدتنا مريم العذراء البريئة من دنس الخطيئة الأصليّة، وأصبحت هذه الكنيسة تحتفل بيوم ٨ كانون الأوّل عيدًا لها. شهدت هذه الكنيسة إجتماع رجالات دير القمر ليلة مجازر ١٨٦٠. تتميّز الكنيسة كونها حافظة لذاكرة إحدى أقدم أخويّات لبنان، وهندستها الشرقيّة التي تمثّل العهد المعنيّ بمدخلها والدار التي تتقدّمها.
The first Marian Confraternity was founded in Deir el Qamar in 1769, and this chapel was founded by the members in 1777, in the Al Khandak neighborhood. The church was restored in 1822. In 1854, and with the proclamation of the Immaculate Conception dogma, a Marian statue was brought to the church and all of the confraternity was consecrated to the Immaculate Mother. Since then, the church became a shrine for the Immaculate Conception and its feast day became on the 8th of December. The church was the witness to the last reunion of Deir el Qamar’s men on the night of 1860’s massacre. This church is a memorial of one of Lebanon’s oldest confraternities. The architecture is one of the rarest models of the Maan’s era with a decorated portico and a frontal patio
