كنيسة مار سابا - عبدينأواخر القرن الثامن عشر استوطن عبدين عائلات من الفلّاحين شركاء لمشايخ آل صعب، وبنوا لهم قبوًا صغيرًا ليكون كنيسةً مكرّسة لمار سابا. سنة ١٨٨٤ بوشر بناء الكنيسة الحاليّة بسعي الخوري يوحنّا العلم وتمّ البناء سنة ١٨٨٩. تحوي الكنيسة لوحة لمار سابا من عمل كنعان ديب تعود لسنة ١٨٥٣.The church of St Sabas - AbdinAt the end of the XVIIIth century, the village of Abdin was inhabited by families who worked for the Saabs, a local feudal family. The first inhabitants built a small vault to be dedicated as a church. In 1884 with the aid of Fr Youhanna El Alam a new church began to be built. The construction was done in 1889. The church holds a painting of St Sabas by Kanaan Dib dating back to 1853.

كنيسة مار فوقا – أميون
كنيسة مار فوقا كنيسة أرثوذكسيّة تعود الى العهد الصليبيّ. شُيِّدت فوق معبد وثنيّ فوقه كنيسة بيزنطيّة تعود الى القرن السابع. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة، بثلاثة أروقة. تحوي الكنيسة جداريّات بيزنطيّة، تُمَثِّل السيد المسيح والعذراء مريم والرُسُل والقدّيسين، منهم مار فوقا ومار سمعان. دُفن في هذه الكنيسة قائد الجيش البيزنطيّ موريق، الذي أرسله الامبراطور يوستينيانوس لِقَمع تَمَرُّد الموارنة، وقتل في المواجهة التي حدثت في أميون بين الفريقين سنة ٦٩٤.

The church of St Focas - Amioun

The church of St Focas is a Greek Orthodox church built during the times of the Crusades, over a VIIth century Byzantine church built over a Roman temple. The church is basilical with three naves. It is decorated with medieval frescoes depicting Christ, the Theotokos, Apostles and other saints. In this church is buried the Byzantine commander Moricius sent by emperor Justinian to quell the Maronite’s revolt in 694, and died in the battle of Amioun.

كنيسة سيّدة الغسّالة - القبيات
بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى بالقرب من قناة جرًّ للمياه، كانت نساء القرية يغسلن ثيابهنّ بقربها أيّام السبوت، لذلك سمّي الموضع الغسّالة وحملت الكنيسة إسم سيّدة الغسّالة. بُنيت الكنيسة الحاليّة سنة ١٩٢٧ بمسعى من أبناء البلدة المغتربين. تتميّز الكنيسة أنّها مكسوّة الداخل بالكامل بالنقوش، تحوي عدّة جداريّات فريدة كجداريّة الذبيحة الإلهيّة حيث يظهر الكأس يعلوه النجم، وجداريّة الصدقة.

The church of Our Lady of Ghassala - Kobayat
The first church was built on a site near an aqueduct where the village’s ladies used to wash their laundry hence the name in Arabic Ghessele invoking laundry washing. The first church held the name of the site. In 1927 the new church was built with donations made by Kobayaty expats. The church is covered on the inside with painted stucco. The church holds distinctive unique frescoes such as the fresco of the Holy Sacrifice with the distinctive oriental liturgical altar paraments, and the fresco of the alm.

كنيسة مار جرجس الشهيد - عقتانيت

بنيت الكنيسة في القرن الثامن عشر، تعرّضت للتخريب خلال أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ بحنية واحدة. تضمّ الكنيسة أيقونتين مقدسيّيتين للسيّدة والعماد، ولوحةً لمار جرجس تعود لسنة ١٩١٦ من عمل خليل عقل. تجدّدت وأعاد تكريسها المطران مارون العمّار في ٢٤ نيسان ٢٠٢٢.
The church of St George the martyr - Aqtanit

The church was built in the XVIIIth century and sabotaged during the war of 1860. The structure consists of a crossed vault with a single nave. The church holds two icons from the school of Jerusalem: the Theophany and the Madonna and a painting of St George by Khalil Akl dating back to 1916. The church was renewed and reconsecrated by bishop Maroun Al Ammar on the 24th of April 2022.
