كنيسة مار سابا - عبدينأواخر القرن الثامن عشر استوطن عبدين عائلات من الفلّاحين شركاء لمشايخ آل صعب، وبنوا لهم قبوًا صغيرًا ليكون كنيسةً مكرّسة لمار سابا. سنة ١٨٨٤ بوشر بناء الكنيسة الحاليّة بسعي الخوري يوحنّا العلم وتمّ البناء سنة ١٨٨٩. تحوي الكنيسة لوحة لمار سابا من عمل كنعان ديب تعود لسنة ١٨٥٣.The church of St Sabas - AbdinAt the end of the XVIIIth century, the village of Abdin was inhabited by families who worked for the Saabs, a local feudal family. The first inhabitants built a small vault to be dedicated as a church. In 1884 with the aid of Fr Youhanna El Alam a new church began to be built. The construction was done in 1889. The church holds a painting of St Sabas by Kanaan Dib dating back to 1853.

كنيسة سيّدة الإنتقال الجديدة - بقاع كفرا

هي الكنيسة الرعائيّة الجديدة. بُنيت على سطح الكنيسة القديمة، سنة ١٩٢٥. تجمع بين القديم والحديث. مسقوفة بالقرميد من الخارج، أمّا من الداخل، فسقفها بغداديّ. تتألق الكنيسة سوق واحدة، وتحتوي على رسومات وصُوَر وزخارف ونقوش على جدرانها، وزجاجيّات على شبابيكها.

The New church of Our Lady of Assumption - Bekaa Kafra

The new parish church of Our Lady was built on top of the old one in 1925, and consists of one nave. The walls are lavishly decorated with frescoes mouldings and arabesques. The roof is of local type of decoration called Baghdady. The church also contains beautiful stained glass windows.

كنيسة مار أنطونيوس الكبير - الزغرين

سنة ١٨٧٦ طلب الرهبان الحلبيّين في دير مار الياس شويّا من المطران يوسف جعجع بناء كنيسةٍ لشركائهم، فأذن لهم وبنوا الكنيسة سنة ١٨٧٧. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب ينتهي بحنية. تضم الكنيسة لوحتين تعودان لأواخر القرن التاسع عشر: مار يوسف من عمل كنعان ديب، ومار أنطونيوس الكبير من عمل داوود القرم.

The church of St Anthony the Great - Zaghrine

In 1876 the Aleppan monks living in the monastery of St Elias Shwaya asked Mgr Youssef Geagea a permission to build a church for their monastery’s surfs living in Zeghrine. After the permission was given, construction began and ended a year later. The church is a cross vaulted structure. It holds two paintings from the end of the XIXth century: St Joseph by Kanaan Dib and St Anthony by Daoud el Qorm.

كنيسة سيّدة النجاة - كفرصغاب

ابتدأ بناؤها سنة ١٨٩٠ وانتهى سنة ١٩١٢. تتميّز بجمال هندستها بحسب الطراز البازيليكيّ الأصيل، وبضخامتها وارتفاع قبّتها بما يقارب ٤٠ مترًا وجمال مذابحها الرخاميّة المصنوعة في إيطالية. صحنها مقسوم ثلاثة أقسام يفصل بين كلٍّ منها صفٌّ من ست ركائز ضخمة من كلّ جهة.

The church of Our Lady of Deliverance - Kfarsghab

The construction of the church began in 1890 and was completed in 1912. The church is a huge basilical structure with a 40 meter bell tower and a three aisle nave with six columns on each side. The church holds magnificent carrera marble altars from Italy.
