كنيسة القديسة رفقا - زحلة في أواخر القرن التاسع عشر، بدأت الإرسالية الأميركية الإنجيلية مهمّتها في مدينة زحلة. قامت هذه البعثة ببناء كنيسة بتصميم يشبه بيوت المدينة في تلك الحقبة الزمنية. في بداية القرن الحادي والعشرين، بعدما بدأ عدد المؤمنين بالانخفاض، تم شراء الكنيسة من قبل دير مار أنطونيوس الكبير التابع للرهبنة اللبنانية المارونية، وتحويلها إلى كنيسة مخصصة للقديسة رفقا. The Church of St. Rafqa - Zahle In the last decades of the 19th century, an American evangelical mission was established in Zahle. This mission built a church in the local architectural style of houses during that time. In the beginning of the 21st century, after the number of evangelicals began to dwindle, the church was bought by the Monastery of St. Anthony the Great of the Lebanese Maronite Order, who converted it into a chapel dedicated to St. Rafqa. Iglesia de Santa Rafka - Zahle En las últimas décadas del siglo XIX se estableció en Zahle una misión evangélica estadounidense. Esta misión construyó una iglesia según el estilo arquitectónico local de las casas de la época. A principios del siglo XXI, después de que el número de evangélicos empezara a disminuir, la iglesia fue comprada por el Monasterio de San Antonio el Grande de la Orden Libanesa Maronita, que la convirtió en una capilla dedicada a San Rafka.

كنيسة مار جرجس - عمارة شلهوب

أعطى المطران المثلث الرحمات نعمة الله سلوان الإذن ببناء الكنيسة ( كنيسة القديس مارون آنذاك) وأوقفت الأرض من المرحوم سلوم بسول سنة ١٨٩٩. اكتمل بناء الكنيسة مار جرجس الأعظم حوالي سنة ١٩٠٠/١٩٠١ من أموال أبناء الرعيّة بدليل تعيين أول وكيل وقف سنة ١٩٠٠ وتسجيل أول عمادة فيها سنة ١٩٠١ كما وتعيين أول كاهن لخدمتها سنة ١٩٠٢. تضرّر السقف خلال الحرب اللبنانيّة فتمّ ترميمه وطرشه على عجل. عند ترميم الكنيسة الثاني سنة ٢٠١٧ تم اعادة كشف رسومات السقف الأصلية.

St. George Church - Amaret Chalhoub

The late Salloum Bessoul donated the land for the building of the Maronite Church of St. Maron (at that time), and Archibishop Neematullah Selwan granted permission for its construction. The construction of the Church of St. George the Great was completed around 1900/1901 from the funds of the parishioners, with the appointment of the first trustee in 1900 and the registration of the first baptism in 1901, as well as the appointment of the first priest to serve in it in 1902. The ceiling was damaged during the Lebanese war and was hastily restored and painted. During the second restoration of the church in 2017, the original ceiling paintings were rediscovered.

دير مار أنطونيوس البادواني - بعبدات

على إثر أحداثٍ ألمّت بأهل بعبدات، إنضمّ العديد منهم إلى الكنيسة الغربيّة اللاتينيّة أواخر القرن التاسع عشر. تلبيةً لحاجاتهم الروحيّة ولأجل تأسيس رعيّة لهم، بنى الآباء الكبوشيّون ديرًا ومدرسةً سنة ١٩٠٠. زيّنوا الكنيسة بجداريّات بديعة على النسق الإيطاليّ السائد في تلك الفترة.

The monastery of St Anthony of Padua - Baabdate

After sectarian conflicts between the villagers of Baabdate, many of them joined the Roman Catholic Church in the late XIXth century. To serve them spiritually a congregation of Minor Friars built a house, a school, and a parish church in 1900. The church was decorated with Italian styled frescoes.

كنيسة مار بطرس وبولس - قرنة شهوان

شيّد أهالي قرنة شهوان كنيسةً بإسم الرسولين بطرس وبولس في أواخر القرن السابع عشر دفع معظم أكلافها الحاج مفرج غبريل، وكرّسها المطران الياس محاسب سنة ١٧٢٠. تجدّدت باتّفاق وتبرّعات سكان القرية عمومًا بسعي المطران بطرس الزغبي نحو سنة ١٩٠٨. تجدّد بناء الكنيسة عام ١٩١٢ في عهد الخوري إلياس زعرور كاهن الرعية، فأتت برسمها الباريسي آية قي الجمال والإبداع. سنة ١٩٩٦، رُممت الكنيسة و رُسمت الزجاجيات. الكنيسة بناء نيوغوطيّ الطراز.

The church of Sts. Peter and Paul - Cornet Chehwan

The church was built in the late 17th century, and the greater part of its expenses were covered by Hajj Moufarrej Ghobril. It was consecrated by Bishop Elias Mhaseb in 1720. Through the initiative of Fr. Elias Zaarour and the locals, it was rebuilt in 1912 and reconsecrated by Bishop Boutros el Zoghby. The church was reconstructed in a Neo-Gothic style with Parisian-inspired decorations. In 1996, it was renovated and stained glass windows were added.
