كاتدرائيّة سيّدة البحار - صورفي القرن الثامن عشر بنيت الكنيسة المارونيّة الأولى في مدينة صور. سنة ١٧٨٢ أذن النائب البطريركيّ ميخائيل الخازن بإنشاء أنطوش للرهبانيّة البلديّة. سنة ١٨١٠ جدّد المطران يوحنّا الحلو (البطريرك لاحقًا) تكريس الأنطوش وأسّس رعيّة مارونيّة في المدينة. سنة ١٨١٥ نزح قسم من موارنة عيتا الشعب إلى صور حاملين معهم صورة العذراء العجائبيّة. سنة ١٨٧٠ وُسّعت الكنيسة وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ. سنة ١٩٠٦ أقام قداسة البابا بيوس العاشر أبرشيّة صور وجُعلت كنيسة سيّدة البحار كاتدرائيّةً للأبرشيّة. رمّمت الكاتدرائيّة أواخر القرن العشرين. تضمّ الكاتدرائيّة مجموعةً من الأيقونات التي تمثل الأحداث الكتابيّة في مدينة صور، أمّا الكابيلا السفليّة فتضمّ أيقونات وذخائر شهداء المدينة القدّيسين.Our Lady of the seas cathedral - TyreDuring the XVIth century the first Maronite church was built in Tyr. In 1782 Mgr Michael El Khazen commissioned the construction of a presbytery for the Lebanese Maronite order. In 1810 Mgr Youhanna el Helou (later Patriarch) canonically established a maronite parish. In 1815 many maronites moved from Aita El Shaab to the city bringing with them the miraculous icon of the Madonna. In 1906 the archbishopric of Tyr was established by Pope Pius X making this church the cathedral. The cathedral was restored in the later half of the XXth century. The church holds many icons depicting the biblical episodes that happened in the city. The crypt under the church holds the icons and the relics of the city’s martyrs.

أواسط القرن التاسع عشر حمت السيّدة شخصًا من آل ياغي من الغرق فنذر بناء كنيسةٍ لها في اليمونة. الكنيسة صغيرة بعقدٍ مصالبٍ. تشتهر هذه الكنيسة بكونها مقامًا عجائبيّّا يقصده المسيحيّون والشيعة للتبرّك.

The church of our Lady of Yammouneh - Yammouneh

In the mid XIXth century a man from the Yaghy clan was saved from drowning with the miraculous intercession of Our Lady. He dedicated himself to build a church in Yammouneh as an act of thanksgiving. The church is small with a crossed vault. The shrine is considered holy for both christians and Shias, and it is an important pilgrimage site for both religions.

كنيسة مار مارون - طرابلس

بُنيت الكنيسة وسط مدينة طرابلس سنة ١٩٥٦ في عهد المثلث الرحمات المطران أنطون عبد، صمّمها المهندس الإيطاليّ بيار أريكوني. نمطها بازيليكيّ بشكل صليب لاتينيّ وقبّة، مع برج ساعة في مقدّمها. تتميّز الكنيسة بمذابحها من رخام الكرارة الإيطاليّ وهي من عمل مؤسسة شبطيني الطرابلسيّة. كذلك تتميّز بالأثاث البيعيّ الغربيّ الطراز. رمّم البناء سنة ٢٠٠١ بسعي المثلث الرحمات المطران يوحنا فؤاد الحاج.

The church of St Maroun - Tripoli

The church was built in 1956 during the pontificate of Archbishop Antoun Abed. It was designed by the italian architect Pierre Ariconi according to a latin cross basilical plan with a transept and a dome. The church holds a bell tower with a clock on the western front. The church interior has a neo gothic style with carrera marble altars made by the Chabtiny association from Tripoli. The church aslo holds western style church furnishings. The building was restored in 2001 during the pontificate of Archbishop Youhanna Fouad el Hajj.

دير مار سابا الناسك - لحفد

هو دير قديم يعود لأوائل القرون الوسطى، لم يبقَ منه سوى الكنيسة. الكنيسة مبنيّة بعقدٍ سريريّ وحنيتين بمذبحين، على اسم السيّدة ومار سابا. على الجدران ماثلة بقايا جداريّات. إستُخدم الدّير كمركزٍ أسقفيّ في حبريّة البطريرك يوحنّا اللحفديّ. رُمّم أخيرًا سنة ٢٠١٠ بمناسبة تطويب الأخ اسطفان نعمه.

The monastery of St Sabas the hermit - Lehfed

An ancient ruined monastery that dates back to the high middle ages, with a church still standing. The church is a crib vault structure with a double apse and two altars dedicated respectively to the Madonna and St Sabas. Some traces of the frescoes can be noticed on the walls. The church was an episcopal residence during the pontificate of Patriarch John of Lehfed. The church was restored in 2010 with the canonisation of Blessed Estfan Nehme.
